Let me start by saying that the service was excellent! Something that is always appreciated. The food was good, but it unfortunately wasn't to our taste. My husband is from India (Gujarat) so we eat authentic Indian food on a regular basis and we found the food here to be a different flavor than what we're used to, probably because it's more Pakistani than Indian in terms of flavor. Both of the curries we had were more sweet than what we're used to, but they weren't bad. Just didn't satisfy our cravings! My husband ordered the Paani Puri as it's his all-time favorite dish and they prepared it here much differently than what he's used to. He really wasn't a fan. Their Masala Fries (an appetizer), however, were absolutely incredible! I haven't had fries like this before and the crunch fries paired with the assorted sauce combination was so delicious. If you're looking for Indian food and are searching for a specific flavor palette, I might recommend trying elsewhere because your tastebuds might not be fully satisfied here. Otherwise, give this place a try as they have a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from!

Based on my experience and IMO... June 8, 2024 update/experience. A thoroughly disappointing meal tonight. Ordered Cauliflower Manchurian, Paneer Hara Masala and Chicken Vindaloo. Spent almost $55 on the meal. The Manchurian was sweet and full of food coloring - not at all like a typical Indian Gobi Manchurian, the Paneer was out of balance in its spicing and tasted sour, while the Vindaloo was just tangy. Not at all how these dishes should look and taste - will not return.

First time wasn't so bad... there were a few complaints but the vibe was very nice so we decided to return. I don't know what happened, but this time around the food was super cold... literally. Told the staff and they just said "oh, the machines are broken." Uhhhhh... then why is the food in that? And why are you serving it? And why am I paying for it? The only thing worth eating was the naan, which was very disappointing considering the cost. No plans to return.

We came for the lunch buffet on a Wednesday. There were a few tables occupied, but otherwise the place was relatively quiet. Prices are about average post COVID, at $16.95 per person. In terms of ambiance, this place is definitely above average. There is some degree of grandeur in the interior deco. The restaurant interior is also fairly large and should have no problems accommodating large groups. As for the buffet selection - well, I hope you like chicken. There are 6 different chicken dishes, along with chicken briyani and chicken noodles! There's 3 vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately, there's nothing much else. What's available does taste very good. Fresh naan is also available upon request and is included in the buffet.

Maybe I shouldn't compare Aga's to Curry Marsala but once you've had the best in Houston, you can't help it. I've ordered curry dishes from Curry Marsala and theres alway a huge layer of oil or grease at the top. Wasn't edible. My daughter loves their tikka Masala and the lollipops are good. But dang, could you ease up on the oil?

1. Service - according to the wife, the cashier was very nice and friendly. This is a A-La-Carte restaurant. You wait to be seated, order, and pay at your table. 2. Price - for a main entree, they range about $10-$15 a plate. 3. Ambiance- I personally have not eaten inside yet, but my wife said it was a pretty decorated place when she went in to pick up our take out. Dress code here is casual. 4. Food - we've ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Vindaloo Masala. Both were really good and authentic. 5. Cleanliness - I haven't had a chance to dine in, so cannot rate on the dining area. However the to-go presentation is packaged well and the food was fresh and clean. I recommend this place and would definitely come back for a dine-in experience. I will add to this review once we dine-in here.

Their food is amazing. Their new flavorful kheema reminds of mamas kheema. Home tasty food. Don't forget their kadak chai. It's must!!!! Service is superb! Thank you all for bringing so much character to the ambiance and the great taste of food.

Went in and looked at the dinner buffet just as it was getting started. It look like leftovers from lunch. We decided to review the menu and it too was a disappointment. We ended up leaving without eating anything. This place isn't for everybody.
