Our first time at The Rusty Horseshoe and by all accounts it will not be our last. Our server L, was prompt, courteous and professional. Since it was steak night, several of us had the steak and it was a good size portion, with mashed potatoes and a salad, all of it was prepared perfectly. My wife got the sirloin tips and she absolutely loved them, they were tender and juicy. They had a live band till 9pm and they were very good. I especially like how the place is sectioned off, it adds to its attraction. We went outside after the sun went down and enjoyed watching the kids play. We also had dessert, cheesecake and brownie a la mode, they both were delicious. The GM, Julie paid us a visit and asked how we were doing and if we were satisfied with our visit, we informed her that we were very pleased and would indeed return. Overall the Rusty Horseshoe is a big hit, they have several menu specials each day along with drink specials. They have events regularly that appeal to all ages.

I hadn't been in this place since the change from Bareback. We went in early on a Saturday and got dinner--chicken tenders with and without Hot Honey sauce and a couple of Rusty burgers, all with fries. Followed that with a waffle sundae for dessert. Got a couple of beers and soft drinks to wash it all down. The burger is a nice thick patty and was very well cooked. Got crispy onions and bacon on mine, and it all held together and ate quite well. The tenders were cooked perfectly, done but still juicy and tender, I would say they were above average. The hot honey sauce is quite tasty and has a pretty good kick. The fries are unique, I can best describe them as kind of short, curly steak fries. They are lightly breaded and nicely crisp. Would be a great late snack with a beverage. Some of the best I have had. The dessert deserves special mention. The waffle sundae is a very crisp cinnamon waffle topped with vanilla ice cream and a very light caramel sauce. The waffle holds up very well to the ice cream and made a great combination. We ate it all up! It's not quite perfect. When we were there they did not have pizza or the pulled pork quesadilla, items we would have been interested in. Other reviewers have had negative things to say about the service. Ours was fine, but I can see where that might have been different--our server was very engaged with her buds at the bar and might have left us for awhile if not for some intense staring. And we didn't all get utensils with our food. Just needs to tighten up. I like a draft beer with dinner at a bar, but all their beer is in bottles. Overall I'd say they come close to delivering on their promise of a family-friendly sports bar. The place was clean overall, with comfortable outdoor furniture and a nice play area for kids. There are two stages for different levels of bands. There's an all-gender (no changing table so not family) restroom at one end and large facilities by the dance floor. They appeared clean and ready, though I also did not see a changing table in the men's room. I would go again.

Tried this place out last night as we had not been here since it used to be Bareback. Overall, I was very impressed with their renovations and use of space. They added some games which I thought was cool, and the bathrooms were majorly improved. (If you ever went to Bareback, you know how gross their bathrooms were). We came during happy hour and ordered both food and drinks. They were out of some food options as well as some drinks options, but we were still satisfied with the remaining options. I had beef quesadillas which were served with fries that were amazing and ketchup. I asked for some ranch to dip my quesadillas in instead of opting to eat them dry. This improved the taste in my opinion. My husband got chicken taquitos and cheese curds. I tried the taquitos and was not impressed, and I'm not a cheese curds person so I can't touch on that. Our service was a little dry and unfriendly, but we got everything we needed so I can't complain too much. The live music that night was good but extremely loud. We will definitely be back in the future to enjoy more drinks.

The environment is a huge step up from what it was. Kudos on those changes. The kitchen menu is "meh". The "double smash burger" was pathetic. It was two slider patties on a bun. Not smashed at all. When I presented this to the kitchen, they excused it saying they changed the menu, but the burger would be the same patties, just smashed. Given the difference in flavor, the "whatever" mentality of the staff was off-putting. The Mac and cheese side was hardly a step up from boxed Kraft. Again, the environment is a huge improvement. The kitchen seems to have not improved at all.

Crawfish was great, BUT, poor service, wrong HH prices off QR code. AND the tip was already included in the total. If I hadn't noticed it I would have double tipped. Ridiculous!

Was not impressed with the food or the service. Service was poor, had had to remind server 4 times for beverage which I just needed up going to the bar to get. People in our group didn't have order taken. Small menu with not much for options. Food runners just dropped Food at table and had to guess who it was for and one order was not even ours. Had to get our own napkins, plasticware, ketchup etc. Food was bland and no seasoning and just not appealing. Wings were undersauced overcooked and disappointing. If you want a place to socialize and have drinks and watch sports, this will work. I would not recommend food here.

The place looks nice. BUT we waited over an hour for our food just to find out our waitress forgot about our order. That really killed the experience. It's a really big place and you need enough staff for it. Never coming here again.

This was our first time eating here. The crawfish was not good. No flavor what so ever taste like we just took it out of a ditch and boiled it. The service was worst. They never brought my wife her appetizer, the crawfish as bland and the pastries were soggy. I will never come here again. It took Forever to get our food and the service was horrible. I can make better crawfish with a taste at home. I'll stick to places I know. Done get the special all you can eat cause it's a waste of money. Nasty food

Fun ambiance, has a cool out door area with swings which is always a ++ for me. Mac and cheese and fries were good, I didn't personally have the crawfish but it smelt good and I was told it was good.
