Visit number 2 proved to be as good or better than previous. They also offer 24" & 28" Pies. WOW! I'd have to put that in my trunk. We got to try the Brownies this time and they were great. The employees were friendly and helpful. Delivery drivers and carryout customers were coming and going. They seemed very busy but I only waited 10-15 minutes. I noticed that many of the tables had a checker board painted on them. They had cups of Checkers for use at the asking to help pass the time. The place looks like any bustling pizza carryout inside; clean but a little seedy, just what you'd expect. It's nearby my daughter's house so I am sure this will be our go to pizza spot when in town. Really good NY Style Pizza in Houston is a good thing. Make Tony's NY Pizza II your Pizza joint of choice, I did.

It's a family owned business with staff who are all friendly and welcoming each time we visit. The restaurant is a small, hole in the wall type of establishment that we have frequented at least twice a month for many years now. The pizza is hand tossed and made to order, however they do have a "buffet" which allows you to choose premade items that they reheat in the oven. Their pizzas are savory, greasy, and tasty! My 1 and only complaint is that although it is a hole in the wall, it shouldn't mean "unkept." This place really needs a good deep cleaning and update on appliances such as the drink machine. The walls and door entries are dusty with visible spider webs, the drink machine is faulty and water leaks when trying to dispense soda. It just needs to be replaced and fully upgraded. I really love this place however cleanliness is a non-negotiable.

I just love this place. Old school, great service, no frills, great food and people. The pizza is a great New York style and the sandwiches are delicious with fresh baked bread and toppings. We go here as often as possible

Well, well well who would've thought there was still slices of pizza for $1.25. This is the Thursday special. It was our first time trying it and glad we did. At first we thought it was gonna be horrible so we ordered one slice each, but we were wrong. We ended up ordering probably six slices in total. It was pretty tasty for $1.25. You order at the counter and a couple minutes later your slice is at your table. Seems like there's a lot of people that come here for the Thursday special and probably when craving a New York style pizza. If you're in the area, I would stop and at least try a slice. Dining area was unique like a NY pizza joint.

Good food, more than fair price, food came out reasonably fast and the service over all was good. Ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from somewhere so niche and small, that kinda small hole in the wall diner feel. If you aren't partial to that kind of style you can always grab it to go. Make sure to come on a thursday for their $1.50 cheese pizza slice, thing is ginormous. My favorite spot for my after work lunch/dinner.

This place is like a typical NY pizza place. Busy with friendly staff who knows their customers personally. It's a spot for people to hang & grab a slice or get dinner really quick. I really wanted to like the pizza but it just wasn't my favorite it had a weird aftertaste as if the sauce was used in spaghetti before they put it on the pizza. Not what I was expecting but it just made the pizza Worse imo. Other than that the crust was great(soft & chewy) the cheese pull factor was great as well. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. ‍

The pizza and service are absolutely amazing! It's the most authentic NY pizza on the northside. I've ordered several pizzas by the slice, an 18", wings and cannoli, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And you know when there is a line out of the door, it's going to be good!

So good. This is my favorite kind of place. The atmosphere is old school pizza parlor. You order at the counter and the service was nice. We both wanted sandwiches, but we needed to try the pizza, so we shared the lunch special, he had the pepperoni and I had the cheese slice. Yum! I would definitely go back here for pizza. My husband got the chicken parmigiana sub, and I got the shrimp parmigiana and they were both huge and delicious. We each took half a sandwich home. He woke up in the middle of the night and "accidentally" ate part of mine. When I texted him to take it out of the fridge for when I got home, he admitted to what he had done. He got an earful, I had been thinking about that sandwich all day. The good news is we'll be going back soon, so that he can make it up to me that he ate part of my leftovers.
