I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm glad I did. That said, I can see why some people were less than impressed. The storefront is small, and there's not much space to dine in. When we came by to pick up dinner, only the owner was on site. He mentioned something about the girl who was supposed to be working calling in sick. That's better than having her come in and cough/sneeze all over my food, I guess. We ordered the chicken kabobs, which were absolutely delicious. They were served with salad and rice, and were the perfect portion-- filling but not too much. Service took a long time, but with just one person trying to prepare three families worth of orders, that's understandable. From what I understand, this location opened not too long ago, and they're still working out some of the kinks. I'll swing by again in a couple of months and see if they've managed to figure it out.

As far as hole in the wall restaurants go, this is the hidden gem you've been looking for if you want top notch food from the Middle East without having to fly to another continent. It's not Americanized in any fashion and I mean that in the best way possible. The flavors are amazing with a great combination of spices to dazzle your taste buds. All the spices are hand ground in-house using traditional methods. They also make their own yogurt, sauces, and tea blends such as their wonderfully pink fantastic tea. The authenticity can't be surpassed and is well worth the unique experience and reasonable wait for a fresh, hot meal. This place is about making stellar food and feeding the community with old family recipes rather than trying to impress customers through cliché decor, trendy avocado toast, or Chick-fil-A pseudo-smiles. They're often busy catering for the local mosque or doing large pick-up orders so sometimes the menu is limited but everything I've tried so far is fantastic. The majority of people that eat here are immigrants or the children of immigrants which means you know the food is authentic. The food is halal so meat quality is always superior. Aside from doing lots of catering, they only usually have one person on staff so service is not what you might expect from a typical restaurant, however this is no typical restaurant. The experience is like going to the house of your Arab aunt or uncle, who is always cooking, and having them whip something together for you. Portions are a great size for the cost and if you're not an ambiance snob, you're in for a real treat.

Amazing chicken kebabs !! Accidentally ordered the chicken kebab rolls instead of the chicken kebabs grilled skewers. Absolutely delicious!! I ordered it to go and was pleasantly surprised! The ac wasn't running at the restaurant so it was a little warm and musky in there but they really have done a good job making the place look better!

So this place has moved. it used to be inside a grocery store on beechnut but now its on hwy 6 and westpark drive/tollway road. its ON hwy 6 on the feeder road. i think its a terrible location, people cannot see it from the highway. its a huge place but tucked away. The food here is incredible. The beef/chicken kabobs are so succulent and delicious! my mouth is watering writing this review. DEFINITELY a houston MUST eat place if you love kabobs. Their biryani is extremely good as well!

This was my first visit based on the reviews and certainly left as a satisfied customer. Lahori Cholay was very delicious and the serving was in generous size. Naans were fresh and bigger than I thought it would be. Chicken kabob was very sumptuous and tasty. Worth the price! Dine in facility can certainly be improved.
