We came in on a Saturday evening for dinner. Most locations have a "kids eat free with adult purchase", which is great for young families. The food was as expected from Luby's and of course we got the Luann Platter. Things were quiet inside and the workers helped us bring trays to our table and asked us if we needed anything a few times. I will say the interior feels just like it did when I was a kid myself, which means nothing fancy inside and also dimly lit. Now is it just me or has the fried fish portion gotten smaller?

It has been forever since I have been here. The staff and service were incredible. Our waiter kept checking on us every five minutes. It seemed like. The prices were great. You can get an entrée with two sides and a drink for 999 or a larger portion for 1199. This is cheaper than a lot of fast food places! There are also so many different options for theentrée and sides. The food was so tasty! I can't wait to come back again.

Just left this location and will not be returning. My son's broccoli was INFESTED WITH MAGGOTS. There had to be at least 8-10 maggots in his broccoli. And staff didn't seem phased by it once so ever. Our waiter shrugged his shoulders and the manager was upset about us wanted a refund. I feel bad for whoever ordered the broccoli from here.

This is the place that memories are better than reality. Meaning growing up I had so many fond meals here with my family. I feel like now the food quality has gone down. Some dishes are super bland while others are overly salty. However, it's one of the few places you can still get cafeteria style food at an affordable price. It has become a new family tradition to take my kids here on Saturday where they eat free! They are learning how to eat like an adult here so maybe they will grow up having the same fond memories. My go to is the fried fish and the chicken fried chicken as far as entrees. As far as sides the fried okra or cauliflower.

I went by yesterday evening on my way home from work to pick up a strawberry shortcake, BUT because their selections were so poorly made, I couldn't get one. Which saddened me because this was all I was craving to celebrate my birthday.

They must have a new chef/mgr because the food today is outstanding. Last time was mediocre (last month) so glad it's back to better food.
