I usually have a decent experience at this sonic during the daytime hours. But anytime my husband and I have gone after 7PM on a weekday or weeknight the service is always horrible. Tonight, the service was horrible. Their hours say they close at 10PM on google and on Yelp. Sonic needs to fire their female employee who was working on Tuesday May 6th at 9PM. We pulled up at 9:15PM and stood at the drive thru- the line was LONG. We get to the order box and there's no response--- we were being ignored for 10 minutes straight. We look and see and the sonic employee working was getting out of a random parked car. She runs inside while putting her headset back on, and we still get ignored. I guess she decided it was time to get back to work and not make out with her boyfriend in the parking? Idk lol. We honk and she finally decides tells us they're closed and she turned off all the machines. It wasn't even 9:30PM at this point? They weren't closed????? I'm so confused!!!!! I get if we came 5 minutes before closing but it was about an hour before they closed. Like why did you make us wait? If you didn't want to work just don't waste our freaking time. This location needs better employees that aren't canoodling in their cars. Absolutely disgusting. Don't go here.

Lynn's service was amazing! She polite and even made us a mermaid water we found on TikTok (tasted great)! The ambiance was quiet and relaxing. The chili cheese footling was good and the mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy with a long cheese pull.

So we pull into the drive through since we just wanted a shake and didn't want to tie up a parking spot. "Welcome to Sonic, can I take your order?" "I'd like an expresso shake" No response. "Hello?" No response. Circle around the building and try again. "Welcome to Sonic can I take your order?" "I'd like an expresso shake" "What was that?" "Expresso shake" Silence "Nothing else... Just the shake" (Conversion in the car) I guess we pull around? The shake emerges... It's gigantic... We pay "Would you like your change?" Yes... We would. And fyi, the shake isn't great. Kinda bitter tasting.

I went through the drive-through around 4:30p on a Friday. 25-30 minutes later (and watching about 5 or 6 other people get their food before me), the slightly confused employee asked for my order again. After telling her, she went checked inside and told me "they didn't think you were here anymore so your order was cancelled." Not sure how they got that impression as I literally waited in front of their restaurant for 30 minutes, but I did in fact, end up driving away without food. There was no food and I was 30 minutes behind schedule.

O stars . THIS STORE STOLE MY MONEY and wasted an hour of my time before I left with nothing ! I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER ! The order was for a family homebound with COVD: I ordered on the app. The store Closes at 11 pm . I was told to arrive at 10:40 pm. I arrive at 10:37 pm. I parked in stall 2 . The screen shows that I checked in and the app shows that I checked in . My order said it was being prepared . By 10:55 pm no one had come out , I pressed the red button , it began flashing - no one came out or spoke to me over the speaker, but WiFi disappeared and my the app stopped showing anything about my order . My son got out of the car to look for people . No people were present but there is a sign that all people before 11 pm will be served and that if employees leave or refuse service before 11 pm, They will be subject to termination .- signed James Rivers manager - (I have a photo!). I have a receipt That I was charged . (Came to my email) I called the 800 number on the app. They tell me that they will refund me 7-10 businesses days . Really? I have asked for corporate to call me. I left at 11:15 while On the phone with Angel from the 800 number from the app. This is not about not getting an order . THIS IS ABOUT THEFT of my money! Planned waste of my time. To make matters worse , I was picking up food /drinks for a family that is at home with COVID . I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ORDERING FROM THIS SONIC 123 DULLES- They will rob you of your money - charge you for nothing and waste your time! I have requested a call call back from Corporate - It's now 12:27 am and my order is still being processed - . It is clear, sonic took my money, no employees were present in the store, and no one ever attempted to make my order! They aren't even around to turn off my order from the app or the sonic stall screen! See photos- James Rivers , I hope you follow through on your message to your employees. How many others did your store steal from tonight ? - I just spoke to a friend - A friend was robbed of $11 one morning with the same scam! She didn't know who to call and never got her money back. The ghetto! You couldn't pay me to eat here. The drive thru worker is rude, she doesn't respond to the intercom & then she'll say "ok I heard you". Then I asked her if they still had Chicago dogs & she said "I guess not"! The cook has hair everywhere & kept pulling up his pants. I placed my order, walked to the window to make sure she heard me & it was then my instincts told me to pull off.

Employee was sleeping on the job. Could clearly see her sleeping through the window. Moved from a stall to the drive through, which finally woke the employee up and then she claimed they didn't have ice cream. Not the first time this has happened at this location.
