Who knew a small Centre so close to Houston, offered some truly hidden gems and talent. On this night The Stafford Centre was not only hosting an elaborate wedding event in their Convention centre, but a concert for Marsha Ambrosious and guests in the Performing Arts Theater. It was an intimate venue(considering it is a 28 million dollar state of the art centre) so no matter where your seat was the view was amazing. When the opening act started, the sound was to put it nice..not up to par with expectation, but that was negated by the fact when Marsha and her band came on to play, the sound was extraordinarily heart felt and interactive so we will chalk up the snafu to the local artist who was using prerecorded tracks, no fault of the centre. This is definitely a jewel for Fort Bend County and a great opportunity for artist to perform for crowds who otherwise would not have the opportunity that bigger venues have to offer. This is a secret that should be shared.

l have purchase tickets there 3 times 1st 2 times I arrived at concert and was told the concert has been cancelled and move to Arena Theater, Gregory Porter (September 2023). Went in October 2023 arrive at Venue and get to door and was told that Will Downing would not be there and he would be rescheduled on October 29. 2023. Got email December 12, saying Will Downing was cancelled and money will be refunded 2 to 10 days. Something is certainly wrong with that picture. I have no intentions of purchasing tickets at that location again until they can become better organized and have reliable dates. Not sure if it's the promoter or whom. People have drove from Humble and arrive to be told concert cancelled. Bad business ethics.

Nice meeting space way out in the country. (Editor's note: If it is outside the loop it is way "out in the country" already at that point, but then there is this mf way down southwest in Stafford.) There are long rows of parking out in front of the centre. The centre itself is off a small street (Cash) shooting off Murphy, which takes you to and from 59 to get back to civilization inside the loop. However, getting that right turn onto Murphy is tricky since traffic backs up on Cash well beyond where the entrance/exit is for the centre because there is not much to do in Stafford for the locals than to slightly inconvenience you as much as possible. There is not much in the immediate area besides a gas station so if you are looking for last minute snacks to stuff in your cargo pants pockets do that before you leave sight of 59 otherwise you are going to have a bad time. The gents' restroom was well cleaned for a public place since usually inside the loop that means there will be at least three homeless gentlesirs giving themselves a hobo bath like it was the Greyhound bus station whether it is or is not. The water fountains were also relatively clean looking but they didn't shoot out rum & coke so I did not feel like investigating further since water was not going to make my mandatory meeting any more interesting or exciting. Not bad for a secular meeting space, but five stars would be a bit much for what it is.

I have been here for various occasions. I've been here for a wedding reception and to watch a ballet. Let's just say, it's nothing like being ITL (inside the loop). My experience at the wedding reception doesn't really need a review. It's a large ballroom with lights, stage, dance floor, etc. It's what one would expect. I have no idea how much they charge, so if you're thinking of having a wedding or large party here, perhaps just email them. I was here to watch Swan Lake last month. The ballet itself was beautiful, and the seating was great too. I took off two stars for the ushers and staff working at the ballet. For anyone who has been to a ballet, there are a few things to remember that were overlooked at this particular venue: 1) When one enters the seating area, an usher points you to the direction where your seat is, so you cause as little disturbance as possible (this was not the case here) 2) During intermission, there is some sort of signal (bells, xylophone, etc) to let one know the ballet will be resuming soon (again, not here - and I missed some of it due to the long bathroom lines) 3) Food is usually not allowed in the seating area, but I heard soda pop bottles fizzing while being opened, crunching of nuts, and chatter, yes, chatter! Who talks during a ballet?! All that said, if I am not required to be at Stafford Cenre, then I will not be there. I will stay inside the loop (ITL) where I found less distractions in a performance.

This is an excellent venue in the Stafford area. Part convention center, part theater, you can head over to whichever component is relevant to you. I've never been to the theater, but I've heard good things and it tends to attract a local smaller audience than those in Downtown Houston. Prices are much cheaper too. All of my experience with this venue comes from working with the convention center for an annual event the Knights of Columbus hold here. The staff is always incredibly accommodating and provide an excellent experience. They keep the place in top form, with carpet that always seems to look new (but never changes year-to-year?), bright lights, and an excellent atmosphere.

This is a great little venue! I recently saw the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra play a Christmas show here, and had a pleasant experience. Not quite sure how old this place is, but it looks to be fairly new, and in great shape. Seating consists of two levels, each containing box seats and upper balconies. I'd describe these seats as comfortable and roomy. These are not your standard movie theater type of seats. I wouldn't have any problem returning here if someone was playing whom I was interested in.

Love Stafford Centre! We have out FBSO Symphony performances here and it's fantastic. I've also attended humongous wedding receptions here which have also been pleasant experiences. Great venue for weddings, concerts, anything!

Our studio tried to book a theatre for our annual recital，so I called them.The front desk Connie was pretty nice，she asked me for some info and told me that sales will call me back.I understood and happily waited for their call.Unfortunately，I waited for one week and never got a call back.Basically，I just wanna make sure if the date I requested was available.So I called them again，asked connie to pass on my request. I told her if it's unavailable，I could make other arrangements ASAP.Then I waited for an entire week，yet there was NO RESPONSE ！！！Today I called them again，they did the exact same thing！！It's unbelievable！How busy can the sales be？？！！Busy with saving cars after the rain？？！！THE WORST service I've ever had in my life！！！
