Churrascos offers a great menu reasonably priced and the food is excellent. There is something for both the carnivores and seafood lovers. Their staff is very friendly and attentive without being constantly in your face. We ordered calamari and lamb chops after munching on the complimentary plantain chips and dips. The calamari was a good, not great, the crust kinda over powered the dish so that I had to remind myself I was eating seafood. Now, the lamb chops were perfect for me. They were tender and well seasoned. They offered a birthday dessert that was outstanding and it came as a flaming presentation. This is a place to have in rotation for dining out.

Complementary Plantain chips with red & green sauce. Red gives a spicy element but not too much flavor; the green is a wonderful tasting chimachurri sauce. Calamari appetizer. 3/5. Just average. Can't quite put my finger on why only a 3 but I would likely not order it again. It has calamari rings & strips & a few peppers. Lamb chops - 4/5. Tender flavorful chops. I had 1 chop that was very very tough. If my whole plate had been like that I would have given the dish a completely different rating. The accompanying brussel sprouts were very good as were the grilled veggies (zucchini & carrots) which I substituted for the mashed potatoes. Drink menu had good options of appealing mixed drinks. I got the pisco sour which I enjoyed. It favors a side car but a little lighter if you aren't familiar with it. Complimentary Dessert for birthday. tres leche cake, is very good. Super rich, but good. Service was good. Environment is nice for an evening out or a date night. Next time I'll try the outside patio seating overlooking the water. Overall a 3.5. There were more positives than negatives but they are a notch lower than my typical 4 star restaurants. At some point I need to visit again to get another data point.

What a treat. Some friends and I decided to eat here during restaurant week and I'm so glad we did. My dish was absolutely delicious!!! The flavors were popping! With a hint of spice + the sauce is a must! I love that this location has an outdoor area that is on the water. Super cute spot...I heard the happy hours are even better! Our server was patient and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. I highly recommend.

(+) Excellent service and attention from the wait staff (+) Flavors of their sides and my personal favorite, the Churrasco, are mouth watering (+) The plantain chips are a great starter and the grilled ones are even better to go alongside your meal (-) It is quite pricey if you are thinking of going regularly I've always enjoyed Churrascos, whether it's this location or the one on Westheimer. The service is always top notch and the food is consistently good. If you are ever looking for a steak with a South American twist, this is most definitely the spot. Perfect for date night or a nicer lunch.

Great spot for brunch We loved the quick service and that everything is ready. The omelette station is great as is the pancake/waffle/ French toast section so don't miss those. Great lunch / breakfast options. We will definitely be back. It's a very chill, laid back spot with dim lighting.

This has been on our list, since we've heard good things from prior employees. Honestly, our rating is a 3.5...but Yelp won't let us give half ratings. Anyways...here's why. Primarily, the customer service could be better. We were here on a Friday night and it wasn't extremely busy (busy, but not for a Friday night) and service was slow. When we were served, the employees were friendly but people that sat after us were being served drinks before us. We enjoyed the food, but felt it was slightly overpriced for what you are getting. Plus, the short ribs had A LOT of fat on them...so left me having to pick through the meat to ensure I wasn't eating pure fat. Yes, I understand short ribs can have fat BUT we've been to plenty of restaurants where there was little or no fat on the short ribs. Other than that, it was good. Anyways, we'd recommend giving them a try but save the trip for a nice date night or treat for yourself. Enjoy! P.S. they serve to plantain chips (instead of bread) while you wait for your food/drinks, this was my favorite part of the meal.

My favorite Churrascos is the one located in Sugarland, TX. Great steaks, ask for medium cooked steaks. Their Tres Leches are the best in Houston. Sit by the window for a beautiful view of the lake. Great friendly service! Try their lunch buffets on the weekends. Delicious!

We have been coming here for brunch for years now. Their weekend brunch is offered both Saturday (11am-3pm) and Sunday (10:30am-3pm). Their brunch is buffet-style with a wide variety of selections for $35.99 per person. Reservations on OpenTable are recommended, but I don't think required. Compared to the standard lunch or dinner menu, I really like their brunch buffet because it's a great opportunity to try many things in one sitting. My favorites in the lineup are beef tenderloin (churrasco), pork ribs, pollo encamisado, roasted brussels sprouts, beef empanadas, lomo saltado, sweet plantains, and plantain chips. Of course I'll venture out sometimes to try something different, but these are the ones I'll come back for multiple rounds on. The pollo encamisado is probably my favorite - plantain-crusted chicken with black bean sauce and cream. The chicken is so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the topping of black bean sauce makes this entire dish one I haven't found anywhere else. The beef tenderloin is always very tender and you can top it with chimichurri and red onions. The pork ribs fall off the bone and have a sweet marinade. The beef empanadas always have a crunchy dough exterior and a very savory meat filling (chicken empanadas are also available). For desserts, I really like their arroz con leche (rice pudding), tres leches, and alfajores (similar to macarons). The tres leches is on the much sweeter side from all the condensed milk, though that is to be expected. The arroz con leche, on the other hand, balances that out and has just the right touch of sweetness. They also have an omelette station, a crepe station, and you can also special-order their special tres leches pancakes from the kitchen. I am normally too full from my favorites with no room left to try these. But I have heard only good things! Service here is always excellent. On our most recent visit, our server was Bryanth. He was extremely attentive and came by regularly to check on us, clear out plates, and refill waters. I have never had a bad experience with the service here. Ambiance is also semi-fancy with beautiful decor throughout the restaurant. A nice excuse to get dressy, but not necessarily required. Churrascos will always be in our brunch rotation. They also have locations in River Oaks, Memorial City, and The Woodlands, but we always find ourselves coming back to the Sugar Land location which is our favorite.

One of my go to lunch spots. But try the brunch!! So many delightful choices you are bound to be satisfied. One new addition that I loved was the tres leches pancakes . From the salad to perfectly cooked veggies and meat selections no matter your dietary preference you'll have plenty of options. Caipirinha are also a must

I've never been to a Churrascos before and was surprised at how nice the restaurant was! Super nicely decorated and very romantic ambiance! We actually came for a work lunch over the holidays and were met with great service and delicious food! The plantain chips were thin and crispy and so light and flavorful with the sauces! The salad was exactly as expected and my fettuccine with steak was pretty yum!! I would order the dish again! They have plenty of options and the meats seem to be what they specialize in and do well! Pleasantly surprised for a chain and would definitely come back! A great first experience!
