Beth Taylor made our trip wonderful. We booked a trip to Ireland and we were taken care of each step of the way. She booked us into wonderful hotels and got us the best deal on flights and hotels. Thanks Beth for even calling us on our trip to see if everything was ok and helping with tours that changed or cancelled. Thanks Beth for treating us like family. ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A TRAVEL AGENT THAT PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ALLOWS YOU A TRIP WITH NO STRESS** NOTE: this review is long, but I had to edit it to shrink it to fit within character guidelines - my full review with detail is on their Facebook page. UPDATE - they DELETED my review off of their facebook page. Planned a trip to the Dominican Republic for a group of 6 with Pepper. We assumed the risk of booking during hurricane season. Hurricane Ian cancelled one flight from Seattle to Miami. Fine, not within the travel agency's control. Pepper rebooked us new flights, having us arrive one day later than originally planned. We arrive in Punta Cana after a 30 hour travel day (more issues with flights, no help from Pepper), our airport to hotel transfer as well as the hotel tell us they were not alerted that we were arriving one day later, they both marked us as no shows. Luckily we were able to get to the hotel and get rooms anyway, thanks to the hotel. We reach out to Pepper to extend our trip a day since we lost one on the way there. He confirms with us hotel and new flights are set. Our original check out day we wanted to spend at the pool, my butler comes to me to tell me that we do not have reservations for that night. Can't reach Pepper to resolve, he's on a boat in Mexico. He finally reaches out to give me Beth's number. Call Beth - it takes her several hours to resolve and rebook us all rooms. Now it's time to check in for our new flights. Oh wait, they are cancelled because Pepper did not cancel our original flights out - and when we didn't show up for those flights, the airline cancelled our new flights since they were booked under the same reservation numbers. Call Beth. Several more hours to rebook new flights. Beth confirms she messaged the airport transfer company and they'll be there no later than 9am for our 12pm flight. 845am the next morning, no transfer. Call Beth. She calls transfer company. I don't hear back from her quickly and we have to get to the airport. I call back, she's still on hold and tells me if we are more comfortable taking a cab vs. waiting for her to resolve we can do that. We call a cab and get to the airport on time - no thanks to this travel agency. Overall - literally nothing that this agency booked and arranged for us was set up properly, corrected properly or followed through on properly. Yes - we went during hurricane season, and they cannot control the weather - but they can control every other aspect of a planned trip - which was not done. There was ZERO follow through with anything they planned - we had to stress and scramble and take care of a lot of things ourselves. Had it been a trip I planned myself- I would've made sure to alert hotels and transfer companies of our late arrivals, made sure our flights were secure and old flights cancelled, and the hotel had reservations for our extensions. I didn't think to double check that these things were in place because that is what we ultimately had a travel agency for.They have not yet made any attempt to make this right for any of us - and it is the absolute worst experience I have every had with a travel agency (and I have booked trips through several). The most unfortunate part is that they are refusing to take responsibility for any of these issues. In one email, Pepper told me that he "didn't know what happened behind the scenes, but he thought everything was taken care of." I reminded him that HE IS BEHIND THE SCENES and it is ultimately his job to ensure everything is done properly - which didn't happen at any point of this trip. Bottom line - DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY if you want things planned and executed so that you can have an enjoyable, stress-free vacation.

I highly recommend Jay and Grand Travel & Cruise. We booked our vacation before COVID so everything got cancelled. Jay is so professional and passionate to help our group rebook. I personally called United Vacation and the wait time in queue was easily an hour or two. We appreciate everything you did for our group and will definitely continue to book through you again and again in the future.

Went on the best vacation all thanks to Jay! Everything was so organized we didnt have to worry about a thing. Stayed at the El Dorado Royal in Cancun it was so beautiful everyone was so nice. I don't know why so many people say it's dangerous out there If there was it was no where near playa or cancun. We went into town for dinners and to walk around and everyone was so nice and kind. I would 100/10 recommend this company and to go to Cancun I cant wait to go back and wish we could have stayed longer!

The BEST travel agency ! Mr.Jay & his team made my friends & I feel like family. We enjoyed every second of our trip to Los Cabos. Another great vacation in the books. We celebrated mine and my wife's birthdays with three wonderful nights at the ultra-deluxe Iberostar Grand Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Once again, our trip was made possible by our travel agent (and Dream Maker), Jay at Grand Travel & Cruise. We have been booking all our Caribbean trips with Jay for over 15 years now! He treats us like we are his own family. This trip was no different. It started with me initially doing my online research, finalizing the dates, where would like to celebrate the occasion, and getting a rough estimate of the costs. Then I contacted Jay with my list and he helped me narrowed down locations based on my favorite options, previous journeys, and most importantly, my budget. The Iberostar Grand and Jamaica fit most of criteria that I wanted, and this would be our second trip to this resort because we loved it so much three years ago. Jay provided the resort with our information prior to us arriving so that our checking would be flawless (and it was). The resort manager was aware our repeat visit and went out of his way to make sure our room was decorated for the celebration; that we had a plate of our favorite tropical fruits everyday there; and that our dinner reservations were guaranteed. We even got a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room! I know for sure Jay made that all happened. The thing about Jay and Grand Travel & Cruise is that they have an extensive, direct network of contacts throughout the Caribbean. And they have actually stayed at the resorts that they are recommending. They have first-hand experiences (good and bad) that are invaluable in my decision making. Most travel sites limit the search results to providers who are usually their highest ad purchasers. Not Jay. His recommendations are personalized from the things that are important to me and are based on his personal experiences at the resorts. And having personal direct (GM-level) contacts at the resorts allowed Jay to offer additional perks that you are not going to find on any of the travel websites. If the costs are comparable, I would rather work with a travel agent that has my interests at heart and who can insure that I get the best personalized treatment and value during my vacation. That's Jay and his people at Grand Travel & Cruise! I highly recommend Jay and Grand Travel & Cruise to everybody. Use them, even if it's to ask specific questions about a resort, or to do a price comparison. I recommended Jay to my friends and they all shared my similar experiences when working Jay to book their trips.

5 stars are not enough for the AMAZING service that I receive time after time from Grand Travel Cruise. Jay Islam goes ABOVE and BEYOND!!!! He is well-connected and well-respected in the travel industry and as result, we benefit through discounted prices, upgraded rooms, and countless number of perks. I have booked my last 5 vacations with him and am looking forward to my next. I also have a destination wedding and my upcoming 50th Birthday Celebration in the works. Coming from a family who's father worked for American Airlines for over 40 years...We NEVER used a travel agent. Booking my wedding back in 2011 at Barcelo Maya Palace, I knew I needed help and googled TA's familiar with the Barcelo property and I found Jay's name. Mind you,I am in Chicago and he is in Texas. I reached out and thank goodness I did! He is AMAZING! He made our trip/wedding planning a breeze for us and all our guests. Not to mention he upgraded us and all of our guests to ocean front club premium! Fast forward to now,there is not a trip that I go on without booking through Jay (I just got back from yet another "Jay trip" to Punta Cana). Everyone I encounter on vacation,friends,etc...I ALWAYS give Jay's name and contact info. He is actually booking my best friends wedding to Punta Cana next year. After a horrific experience with another travel company and her being out a couple hundred dollars, she reached out to Jay and she and her fiance were so happy with their conversation with him and trusted putting their wedding in his hands,even after just being burned. Jay always makes sure to take care of us, makes sure we are pampered,upgraded and that we have an amazing time. He never ceases to amaze me nor does he EVER disappoint. Not only do I have a travel agent, but now a friend for life. Thank you so much Jay for all you have done for us! Words cannot even express my gratitude! Forever clients and Forever Friends!
