Pappasito's for lunch during the week is the place to be. This place has lots of free parking. We entered and asked for a table for 2 and had a 20 minute wait. Wow, this place gets busy during lunch. Once we got seated we were greeted with red sauce and chip, yummy! Husband and I spit a plate as we had plans to get a Birthday dessert. The food was filling and the Birthday dessert was delicious.

After 20+ years, I have returned to the Houston area to test out Pappasito's. It's still the same as in the past: [1] excellent chips (hot off the fryer) and fresh salsa [2] well marinated fajitas, crispy on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I still consider this place as the golden standard for TexMex. It's truly the yard-stick to measure others.

I have visited this particular restaurant dozens of times over the years. When I worked in the Houston Medical Center, I would often visit this location after work for happy hour. I was there a couple of weeks ago for the retirement party for the district manager, who I worked for until I retired. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and a great time was happy all in attendance. Pre-Covid they would hand out special Cinco de Mayo glasses to all the patrons who ordered a margarita. Yes you got to keep the glass, so I like being in New Orleans and getting a hurricane and taking the glass home for wonderful memories. This facility can accommodate large groups for special occasions. There were 20+ people in our group and there were several other large groups there at the same time and all were accommodated easily by this facility. I recommend this restaurant. GN3

Food Quilty is always good, Service is good & they always busy so wait time might be a little longer then usual but it's worth the wait and Ambiance is nice.

We ordered the family fajita at this restaurant - scrumptious! The ambience is family oriented and the server named Natalia that helped us was so accommodating. I am an advocate of the fact that the experience with a restaurant- most often than not is the interaction the server provides and Natalia did provide it. The food becomes more delicious.

I have not been to Pappasito's in years. We were trying to figure out where to go for lunch, so we decided to come here for the ribs and shrimp.The rice was a little dry but everything else was delicious. Eight stars.

Enjoyed a nice lunch with coworkers recently here! It was busy but staff and service were good. I am glad they have a lunch menu with good options. I got the fajita chicken, and it was so good. They put butter on top of the chicken. They do not have complimentary green sauce but their red sauce was pretty tasty. Love their tortillas as well. I hope to go back soon!

Tonight my family and I were celebrating lots of occasions. My uncle, cousin's husband, my Dad and sister. We ultimately decided where to go for one place: Pappasito's Cantina. I previously have been to this location and everyone has been great. Initially we had to wait a bit to accommodate our big party. But while we waited, we all had a chance to look ahead and knew what to order when seated. For me, I went with a fajita platter of beef, cheese sausage, grilled onions, and diablo shrimp which came with rice, charro beans, and condiments: guacamole, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream and pickled jalapeños. Of course tortillas as well and a butter sauce for the shrimp. I enjoyed the flavor and everything that came with it. The beef was cooked nicely, shrimp was delicate and not tough. Tortillas were hot and fresh. Definitely something to expect for a fajita platter. Everything complimented each other for a complete meal. Also had an opportunity to try the tres leches as well. Sweet and definitely liked the nice torched marshmallow on top with strawberries. Overall a nice visit for my family and I. Pappasito's Cantina is a restaurant to enjoy with big groups and special occasions when we get an opportunity. The quality is good and the price reflects that. We also have a positive experience with the location. But a big recognition and high praise for our server Sheldon. He took care of all of us and appreciated his diligence for our individual selections. He was awesome. Really just high remarks for the whole staff and those that made our experience a pleasant one.

As a First Timer.. I was pretty skeptical going into this dinner. The prices are a bit steep and there are some very mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Plato San Juan came in a good portion, fall off the bone ribs and the Shrimp Brochette is heavenly. The Butter sauce it comes with is weirdly addictive, we all needed extra! My Grandmother ordered the Quail A la carte, i had a little piece and it was cooked well. It was extremely busy so a reservation is a must, but considering the crowd service was alright. We grabbed margaritas as we waited for our table, the Zombie Marg was tasty. Would come back.

Food was fresh, different, and delicious! It's our first time here and I am glad we stopped by. Close to the highway which was easy to find. The location is huge with lots of seating both indoor and outdoors. The service was very friendly and quick! Our waiter Vance was a sweet heart and gave us great recommendations. We ordered the beef and chicken enchiladas which come with sour cream, or salsa verde, or red sauce. There is complimentary chips and salsa as soon as you are seated. Happy Hour they have $6.95 margaritas from 3-6pm Monday-Friday. We truly enjoyed this place and can't wait to come back! Thank you ^.^
