Solid food, probably my favorite place to get fried chicken but there's a pretty grumpy older gentleman who's the manager there and I've never had a pleasant experience with him. I get you have to make money through this pandemic (and save costs) but really? ONE NAPKIN FOR $40+ SPENT, also sauces are extra (which I get because the cashier stated they were for chicken tenders). I worked in the service industry for well over 5 years so I know a bit about what goes on but do I really need to remind someone to please give us more than 1 napkin with a 12 piece combo and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches.

The location on Eldridge Rd has good management but seems to have a hard time with workers. Diff staff every time we go there. Food is good, hot and delivered quickly enough for me. Prices are fine.

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and I got no spicy sauce so it was just a dry chicken sandwich I asked for a cup of the spicy sauce and yall LOOK AT THE PICTURES that shit wasn't spicy sauce and tasted like ass. idk what's going on with Popeyes but they are going down hill because I also ordered boneless sweet and spicy tell me why I got bone in wings with the sauce on the side with only 4 chicken wings and they didn't give my fries at all but they charged me for everything when they got my whole order completely wrong and they have the audacity to repeat the order and take my money and still get my order wrong ...If Popeyes employees hate their job work somewhere else cause I'm hungry and don't wanna deal with this lazy ass behavior cause I know damn well if the workers were on the other side of the drive-through window they would want their order taken serious and correct and know damn well they gonna argue ,as a customer we are paying for the paychecks y'all take home we are literally paying for y'all living so get y'all's shit together.. Ambiance is trashhhhhh they take for ever.

Got some coupons through the mail. I decided to use one for lunch while doing some errands in the neighborhood. I went with the spicy chicken tenders with biscuit and red beans & rice. Chicken tenders were not spicy at all and kind of skinny. Biscuit was buttery and moist. Red beans and rice were really tasty and addictive. I don't know why, but I always prefer Popeye's low rent version of red beans & rice over those of fancier restaurants. Counter service was quick and friendly.

I love fried chicken but only eat it once a month for health reasons. Sooooo, I went to this Popeyes yesterday and ordered the 3 piece with french fries. I took it home and opened the box. There were only 2 pieces of chicken and a very small bag of French Fries. To top it off, all of this cost me over 9 dollars. I tried to call them to complain but the phone was unhooked. There is a KFC down the street so I will go there from now on!!!!!!!!!!.

Popeyes Spicy Sandwich "Its Back". When it 1st came out several months ago. I did not get a chance to try it. I was wondering what was all the hype about. This is actually really good. There was no line at this location. When I come during there Tuesday special. I usually go inside to get my order since the drive line seems long between 4:45pm - 5:15pm. Everyone that works there is always nice to me. They do they beat they can to make the line go quickly. Definitely going to order this chicken sandwich again.

On Thursday evening, at approximately 7 pm, I went through the drive-thru at this restaurant to order ghost pepper wings. I was told that I could only purchase ghost pepper wings online. I asked if there was a certain quantity of wings that I could order in the drive-thru and I was told that there was no quantity large or small that I could order in the drive-thru. I left the drive-thru and went inside of the restaurant to order. The manager. Cesar, reiterated that the only way to order ghost pepper wings was ONLINE. I left the restaurant, went to another restaurant, not Popeye's, and ordered a meal from the drive-thru. If you can't order items listed in the drive-thru, either post which items are available from the drive-thru and/or abandon the drive-thru concept. From a business standpoint is this good business? From a customer relations perspective, is this good customer service? From a profitable outlook, is an order online strategy a good outlook?

Just to follow up, I contacted corporate the next day through their web portal. I didn't get sick from that horrible chicken sandwich, but I wanted to make sure they address their poor food safety issues. As of now, I never heard back from corporate about this matter. I'm not really surprised. What the pandemic has taught me is that good restaurants will have challenges but will still try to provide great service. And if an establishment sucked before the pandemic, they will suck worse during or after it. Popeyes clearly could care less about their customers, and it showed. I'll never patronize this restaurant again. Piss poor management leads to piss poor performance, and these mistakes could sicken people (or worse).
