This was my first time here and it was completely awful! When I first walked in there was no greeting or direction I kinda just assumed where to go. After I finally figuring out where to order I went ahead and let Kylie know that it was my first time and that I was new to this. She did little to explain to me on what to do and what's good to order she just said she makes the sandwich and that's it. I ordered original provolone with Roast Beef and Skinny Italian then went to the next station. Again I let the lady know I was new to this she simply asked what I would like on my sandwich. Mind you you can't see the toppings it's on the wall listed but you wouldn't know unless someone pointed it out. I told the girl I don't know what toppings there are then finally she pointed out the wall to me. Afterwards it came to the checkout. I don't know if this place is trying to be sneaky or shady or something but Kylie was checking out and ringed me up a third sandwich! Making my total come out to 30 dollars!! I didn't say anything and simply paid and asked for the receipt cause what the helly?? I look at the receipt and it shows I was ringed up a whole other sandwich. I immediately go back to Kylie and ask her what I was ringed up. She simply looked at me and went to get her manager. Manager saw the mistake and fixed it and refunded me the money. No apologies no accountability no "hey that's our mistake here's a cookie on the house" nothing. Sugar land PotBelly needs to learn some customer skills. Kylie needs to be retrained on how to speak to the guest and how to hold herself accountable. Mistakes happen but there's a way to fix it!

Review: Potbelly Sandwich Works - Drive-Thru Experience I stopped by Potbelly Sandwich Works after a long day at work, just hoping to grab a sandwich. Instead, I ended up dealing with one of the most uncomfortable customer service experiences I've had in a long time. The manager, Tanisha(blonde wig, pulled back), was taking orders through the drive-thru speaker, and from the very start she sounded annoyed at every question I asked about the menu. I work in the service industry myself, and I know what it's like to have tough days. But I also know that you don't take it out on customers. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just placing a simple order after a long shift. When I pulled up to the window, she was already speaking to the next customer with the same attitude. I asked her if she was having a bad day, because her tone toward people made it obvious something was off. She immediately told me she was "fine" multiple times. When I told her that her tone said otherwise and that customers could feel her frustration, she insisted she wasn't talking like that and that I didn't know what I was talking about. At that point, instead of trying to understand or de-escalate, she raised her voice so loudly that the entire staff turned to look. She told me she had been in the industry since she was 16. My response was simple--then you should know better. I ended the conversation and told her I had nothing more to say. She responded with a sarcastic "you too, sir," complete with an eye-squint and attitude. I didn't come there to argue. I came for a sandwich. No customer should be talked to like that, especially by a manager. This location needs to seriously re-evaluate how it handles customer service, because this was unacceptable.

This was my first time visiting a Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and unfortunately, the experience was far from ideal. I stood in line for 5-6 minutes and was never greeted or acknowledged by any of the staff. When I got to the section where I thought I would be placing my order, the team member just repeated an order to me. I politely let her know I hadn't ordered yet, and she told me that orders are taken at the first station. I explained that no one greeted me or asked what I wanted when I first walked in, so I had to go back in line behind two more people just to place an order. Then at checkout, the employee at the register seemed to rush me out. I even had to ask for my receipt--it wasn't automatically offered. This location in Sugar Land on Hwy 6 clearly needs a refresher on customer service and guest engagement. A simple greeting and better direction would've gone a long way. Honestly, I could've gone to Subway on Airline in Northside and had a better experience.

Love the bay area blvd location, and the one in midtown. This one was dirty, service and presentation of the sandwich was disgusting. Super sloppy. So much sauce it soaked the outside of the sandwich. Soda machines were out tood them about it. They disregarded it. Wasnt busy at all either.

This was my first time coming in, and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. There was only one person working the register, and the employee was wearing blue gym shorts with Crocs (not even in sports mode). For a place that's supposed to serve quality sandwiches, the experience felt unprofessional and careless. If you're looking for a good sandwich, I'd recommend Jersey Mike's or just about anywhere else. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I went into the bathroom before I ordered and I'm so glad I did. The women's bathroom smelled like a chicken's coop and had no ventilation. Based on that I could not eat at the restaurant. I would highly recommend air fresheners in the restrooms!

Not a lot of meat in the A Wreck sandwich. A thin slice of turkey and everything else, tons of lettuce. I feel like I need a second dinner. I usually love Potbelly's and this sandwich, but I'm pretty sad this time around.

My husband and I went to potbelly's on highway 6. The lady who took our orders was pleasant and polite. The lady who put the toppings in my sandwich and a short white guy , not so much. The guy was running back and forth like a chicken with his head cut off. I swear he needs to be drug tested. I had to ask him for a bag for my food. He seems like he was overwhelmed with his job. If I was the owner of this location I would definitely drug test him. Hie seem like we were a bother to him. There wasn't anyone else inside the store. There was a car at the drive through. When I tell you he was so overwhelmed , he never acknowledged us. I probably won't be going back to this location again
