Food: lamb chops & fish & grits were delicious! There was live entertainment and it fit the ambiance. Leonardo was our waiter. He was kind. However, the service was extremely slow. They appeared to only have 3 employees in the establishment. Be sure to thoroughly look over your tab. My husband and I viewed it as an okay experience. One Star My wife and I dined at The Roof on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. for brunch in celebration of her birthday. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards of a fine dining establishment and was deeply disappointing from start to finish. We were seated promptly since we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time. However, the booth assigned to us had its seat covered with a fleece throw, which created an impression more suited to a casual café than an upscale venue. Our server greeted us politely and began service with water. When we requested the endless mimosas that were advertised online, we were told they were not available. My wife ordered the Salmon Pontchartrain, while I chose the Chicken and French Toast. Despite being the only table at that point, our entrées took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. The quality of the food was far below expectations. The salmon was clearly frozen rather than fresh, something one would expect from a casual chain restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. While my dish was attractively plated, the chicken was extremely tough--so much so that it could not be cut with a knife and had to be torn apart by hand. The overall quality was comparable to, or worse than, what could be found at a fast-food chain for a fraction of the price. Once another table of eight was seated, service declined further. Drink refills took an unusually long time, and we had to wait again for our bill. When it did arrive, we were surprised to see a 20% gratuity automatically applied to our party of two, as well as an additional credit card processing fee. In summary, The Roof delivered an experience that was subpar in every regard--slow service, poorly prepared food, and unjustified additional charges--all while presenting itself as a fine dining destination. Unfortunately, it did not live up to that promise, and we will not be returning.

We went at 8:45'om a Saturday night. The place was empty...went to the ladies room while they prepared our table. The bathroom was gross...no toilet paper in any stall and no paper towels. Where are the employees washing their hands? We left without being seated.

Had the chicken and French toast, the chicken was tasty nice and moist with a crunchy breading that was the best part, toast was soggy and lacking flavor. Service was slow from being seated to having order taken then for delivery from kitchen. Asked for coffee with meal, was not delivered till done eating. A tip was automatically added, make sure check receipt before adding more,. Will not be back.

The service was mediocre. We had a party of 9 and all our food was bland. The appetizers were undercooked and the pasta had no seasoning. The waitress was very nonchalant but had the nerve to add gratuity to all of our individual tabs, racking in $120.00 which she definitely did not deserve because her customer service was very poor. We won't be going there ever again.

Let me start with I have a high standard..check my yelp..this place had great servive..the drinks were strong but not overpoured..2 martinis..the steak eas seasoned and cooked to perfection..tender and not overpowered with seaso I gs..you can enjoy the taste..the patio was awesome..can't figure out why this place doesn't have a line outside...definitely on our lost of places to go for Celebrations...couldn't find anything to complain about

The service was poor and the food is overpriced for basically mediocre food at best. The restaurant was not busy at all and wouldn't seat our seat our party of 3, they had one group of maybe 10 people in the entire place. We had to send our dishes back because they were all cold. What a disappointment, don't waste your time or money on this place. They also charge automatic gratuity and again we had 3 people and our server was the server and wouldn't adjust for poor service. We ordered a garlic bread and it never came out.

Horrible food and service. Overpriced. Had to send the food back Shrimp, Crab and Grits came to the table lukewarm at best. Tasteless. Had the audacity to charge auto gratuity for a party of 3! But the mgr knew she gave bare minimum service. So tired of our restaurants giving the bare minimum and thinking because they play good music with lackluster food, it's a vibe!
