What a gem in Tomball. This family owned establishment shined from the home baked bread to the desserts made in house. The house salad with the creamy italian rocked. My husband had the special with beef tips and linguine. I chose the fettuccine carbonara. What I liked most is that they had a normal and a small portion. Trust me the small portion was plenty. I just had to try one of those desserts. The coconut cake with pineapple sauce was on point and I took a few biscotti's that Roberta the owner suggested would go perfect with my coffee in the morning, They have a full bar and a nice wine list. Jayden was our server and was so pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed that the acoustics allowed me to actually have a conversation. If you are looking for a wonderful meal at a reasonable price don't miss Gianna's

Don't just walk but run to this Tomball gem. We drove out to this establishment in hopes that it would be a great evening with family and a pleasant meal. You can tell by the quiet buzz at the tables when we walked in that the food was good. Everyone was eating and not a whole lot of loud talking. Smiling faces and full tables. We found all to be great. The food, the service and the ambiance. I did notice that there were not a lot of kids and more of an adult experience. They had live music and a very nice host. Jayden was our server for the evening and she was terrific. So, when you want a great Italian meal and you're in the Tomball area, go by and get treated to a lovely meal.

This is an intimate fine dining Italian restaurant in Tomball, Texas. They've done. Excellent job of Decorating, you would find a restaurant very much like this in New York. They have a full bar. They have a wide menu. I got the special, which was beef tips in a marsala (Red wine) sauce, fresh mushrooms, barely cooked onions. It was delightful. My wife had Alfredo carbanara chicken, which also had a good flavor, they have a wide variety of desserts, all made in-house. Expect to oay around 20 for an entee -- lowest 10 highest 29. Decent wine menu from 7 to 12 dollars a glass. Eat local, eat family owned for 27 years. Jayden is a second generation server!

Ambiance is nice & so is the live music. The food was just ok. Sauces were too sweet. The red sauces and the marinara were both too sweet. Service wasn't very good. They dropped off the food and didn't come back for over 15 minutes so I didn't get to order something else I wanted plus our drinks sat empty for way too long. Don't think we will be back.

This place is what you call cafeteria food Italian. I ordered a Caesar salad and Lasagna. The Caesar salad is basically just Romain lettuce thrown into a box with croutons. The dressing also tastes nothing like Caesar. The Lasagna had the cheapest cheese you can buy (think school pizza topping) and the sauce tastes straight from the can. I'm not joking when I say this is the worst I've ever had. It's a shame how expensive everything has gotten and then to top it off restaurants like this give the absolute worst effort. I would have been better off just cooking this meal at home. Thank you for wasting my money, I feel like you should be paying me to eat that slop.

Unfortunately, our group of seven rates this restaurant a 1 due to poor management. Our server was quickly in the weeds after our reservation at 5:30 pm to a 90% empty room. Wine was delivered as were some appetizers. After placing our orders at 6:05 pm, it took 35 minutes for the food to arrive at 6:40 pm. When delivering our orders, the sever told one of our group members that they mistakenly gave her fish dish to another patron and another portion would be served shortly. Twenty minutes later at 7:00 pm, still no dish. We flagged down the manager, and he stated he would take care of it. He NEVER returned to our table with an update. Ten minutes later, the server stated that they were out of fish. Our meal lasted 2.5 hours. The friend that ordered the fish was comped for the glass of wine but was charged for the salad - how crass! When the bill was delivered, I was erroneously charged for a $12 appetizer a friend ordered. I paid it rather than wait for the server. Overall, the food was palatable, but giving a 1 star to get the owner's attention.

Gianna's Italian Kitchen is a family owned gem in Tomball. The storefront eatery is sort of a classic Italian restaurant design. There is a full bar, lots of wine cabinets, seating around the bar, live music and a party room. The service is friendly and warm. Always attentive. The food is OUTSTANDING! We were here for a birthday party - even for a banquet, they were able to serve filet mignon rare and salmon rare. Both were outstanding. I enjoyed the Caesar salad as well as the broccoli side dish. The real star were the cupcakes and the cake, which were made in house for the birthday boy. Holy geez....I could pass on the pasta and the bread, but this cake was heavenly. The wine list is also VERY impressive and VERY reasonable. Heck! If I were in Houston, I would come just for the wine...and maybe some cake. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant. While it is not an architectural star, the service, food and wine are where it is at.

Excellent food and excellent service. Great little neighborhood place. Good for couples or families. Great bar scene after six. There was live music on a Saturday night.

The wait staff was nice however it took FOREVER for the food to arrive we had to ask several times for what we needed and the temperature was subpar the taste was very bland adding salt and Parmesan helped most definitely NOT WORTH the $29 they charge for it. Extremely disappointed The rest of our party also said theirs was very bland and with 30 in the party that's a massive disappointment. The piano player was entirely too loud. And to top it off the bidder starts LOUDLY clearing the table before everyone had left. Needless to say we will NOT be back for another visit
