My dad convinced me to come to the small hole in the wall that I know has changed owners multiple times since I used to live on that side of town. I was very skeptical, but my dad swore this place is always packed and he always sees a lot of law-enforcement eating here so in his mind it had to be good. I was looking for Tex max meaning chips and salsa. Tex Mex cheese enchiladas, and they do not have that here. I went ahead and tried the taco plate and I'll have to say I was so surprised how good it was. The beef fajita is very delicious and they do make homemade corn tortillas there that is always a plus for me when the corn tortillas are homemade because not every restaurant does that. My son got the Agua Frescas mango flavored. Very good. The prices here are definitely cheap for such great quality and portions. Four of us eight with drinks for about $55. I really couldn't believe it. My dad even went back and got some Menudo to go since it served on the weekend. I even took some of the wedding cookies to go and they are very good. It was a lot for one container. I think I would definitely come back to this restaurant for some tacos and I highly recommend it if you like Costilla they serve those here as well but I think I need to try the menudo now. All in all don't let hole in the walls, scare you or keep you from trying something new.

This place was recommended by word of mouth. It's a tiny place next to a gas station. Their breakfast tacos are highly recommended. I tried a regular taco plate. It was very good! My friend who was there with me said that it was authentic! I'm no judge of what constitutes authentic, but I would certainly eat there again. My only complaint was that they didn't have ice tea. I ordered a Mexican Coke, which is a rarity for me. I don't drink sodas much. It would be nice if there was some alternatives besides sugary sodas.

Well , our first time here and after 30 minutes of waiting, sitting in the dining room , clearly not eating while other people are ordering , Eating and leaving , I finally go up and ask about our order. Chilaquiles for me and chicken for my husband. It appears they lost our order and never made it. I asked for our money back and did not get it, they said they were going to cook the food really fast. I hope not too fast, not trying to get Food poisoning. The food finished, but then got delivered to the wrong table. Lucky for us, it was the table next to us and I was watching for it and was able to correct that error. Up until this point, total aggravation because of the time and we were Hangry, with good reason. Our food was delicious though, and we Will come back again despite this unpleasant experience. We're going to chalk it up to a one off event and keep our receipt next time. I will say that the sauce is like fire. So just be very careful with that red sauce. It is liquid fire. Both sauces are delicious, but the red, fire.

Came to eat because of the reviews and the food looked delicious. We walked in and walked close to the counter. There were four workers and not one acknowledged us, until one finally said good morning but just walked passed us. She proceeded to service one table but then walked passed us again and started cleaning another empty table. We stood there a little longer and nothing from anyone. We ended up just walking out. Disappointing as the food looked really good. We just moved to the area and this had the potential to be one of our "regulars", but I doubt we will give it another try. A simple give us a moment or we will be right with you would have gone a long way instead of just letting us stand there and being ignored.
