Flower Child is my go-to spot in Westlake Hills when I want food that's both nourishing and full of flavor. It's rare to find a place that nails healthy and delicious, but Flower Child gets it exactly right. Every dish feels fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared. I especially love the Ginger Miso Salad with Salmon (GF) and the Glow Bowl (GF), but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The proteins are always cooked perfectly, the veggies taste like they came from a garden that morning, and the sauces bring it all together beautifully. The staff here is consistently friendly and welcoming--helpful with recommendations and always upbeat. The space is light, open, and relaxing, with a cool boho vibe that makes it a great place to sit and catch up with a friend or grab a peaceful solo lunch. And bonus: it's actually easy to park (a Westlake miracle), and they're fast with takeout orders, too. If you're looking for a spot that leaves you feeling good inside and out, Flower Child is a standout. Clean eating without the compromise.

I have been here a few times and always enjoyed the food. I got this salad due to my partner telling me its a Korean bulgogi salad, it was the special. So I went with it as well as the mac and cheese. I didn't care for the salad at all. All I ate was the meat. Luckily I got the mac and cheese because I was hungry. This salad was not my cup of tea. I would definitely recommend this place. I like the food here, just not this salad.

My family and I decided to order and pick up food from Flower Child. My husband placed the order online, picked it up and brought it home. This time around I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba Noodles which comes with Chicken, Vegetables, Sesame Garlic Sauce and Cashews. I also ordered some Sweet Corn and Quinoa. My husband ordered Steak which came with two sides. He decided on the Chilled Sesame Noodles which had Apple, Celery, Arugula, Togarashi, and Cashew. He also ordered Roasted Sweet Potato Fries that came with Buttermilk Yogurt Ranch. Plus extra Pita slices for us to share. All of the food was delicious. The Chicken Yakisoba Noodles were very good. I enjoyed the combination of flavors with the fresh ingredients. The Sweet Corn and Quinoa is one of my favorite sides. I like adding it to my meal for extra texture. I tried my husband's Chilled Sesame Noodles and they were a little spicy and sweet. I also ate a few Sweet Potato Fries and my husband and I agreed that they are some of the best we've had with a crispy exterior and soft interior. We dipped them in the Buttermilk Yogurt Ranch which had a tangy flavor. The Pita slices were good to eat just as they are. Overall, easy and fast ordering and pickup process with lots of yummy choices of flavorful food.

Flower Child is the perfect place for those who are health conscious and perfect for pet parents. I ordered the Turkey & Avocado Cobb Salad and switched the dressing to a dairy-free option. It was delicious! Sadly, there aren't any locations near me and my only regret now is introducing myself to something so delicious and healthy, but inaccessible.

I went to Flower child for lunch. I really enjoyed the decor and clean cafe atmosphere. The food is very clean and healthy. I had their salmon entree with butternut squash and Brussels. So mouthwatering delicious. I definitely recommend!

The food here tastes great and the vibe is super cool. The staff is friendly as well. My reason for 3 stars is because of the portion size. Every-time I come here and get the protein plate, I get chicken. It comes to around $15-16 for the plate which comes with two sides. What's confusing is that the two sides are usually pretty generous and in the middle of the two, is possibly the smallest serving of chicken I've ever seen. Genuinely probably 1/3 of a small chicken breast size. My friend got the salad and he paid $6.50 extra to add chicken to it because it came with no protein, and they gave him the same size. $6.50 for 1/3 of a small chicken breast is ridiculous!! If you're going to charge that much, please give a larger portion. I'm not sure how other meats compare but for chicken specifically, it is very disappointing.

I am a total Flower Child. No, wait. Let me try that again. I am a total fan of Flower Child. There. That's better. So until last week I didn't know this location existed. I was looking for a place to have lunch with a friend and I thought they'd be coming from their house in Central Austin. Instead they were coming from their place of business in West Austin. I was looking for a new places to try that were reasonably priced. I did not know this location existed because I've only gone to their Domain location previously. This is a much more open and airy location than the Domain. There is inside and patio seating available on the deck. It can be quite pleasant when the weather cooperates. The day I went it was a bit chilly so inside would have been a better choice temperature wise (and for another reason I'm about to explain). It's best to arrive early for lunch. When I first arrived about 12:30, there were still inside tables available but 10 minutes later the place was packed with a second wave of lunchers. I usually have the Ginger Miso Crunch salad but I decided to explore today and went with the Mushroom Bolognese. As usual Flower Child never disappoints. Topped with almond ricotta, the combination of squash zoodles and marinara was quite filling and delicious all at the same time. (Okay to be quite honest I would have liked a little more generous portion, but this was enough for lunch) That having been said, I take one quibble and it's a situational one with the outside seating. Even in early January, the bees are active. I almost made the mistake of swatting at one myself, mistaking it for a housefly that have been on the table a bit earlier. Unfortunately my co-diner made that actual mistake and got stung. This happened despite moving the cute bud vase of wildflowers to the opposite end of the table. Of course you can't cover all perils in an outdoor environment. It would be nice if the bud vases were filled with something less attractive to honey bees, because getting stung is a real bummer to an otherwise fun lunch. I ran in and got some ice in it to go container and luckily my friend didn't experience a reaction. That quibble aside, this is the place to go for lunch in the Walsh Tarleton and Bee Cave Road area. For the best experience, arrive early, and dine indoors. Highly recommended.
