Tacos are my favorite food group so imagine my absolute delight when I just got into town for the first time and discovered this cute taco shop practically across the street from my Airbnb! Made my way here for dinner one night. They have a super cute patio but I went inside to sit at the bar. Bartender was great and the menu looked amazing! I adore elote and that was a special on the menu so I got that and the special prickly pear margarita. I then followed with tacos - the al pastor (which they said they sold out of all the time) and the special sweet potato/jalapeno taco, and a paloma. This has got to be the fastest service I have ever experienced lol! Legit 2 min after placing my elote order, it came right out. And the same thing happened with my tacos so I'm glad I spaced them and didn't order everything at once haha. The elote was delicious as were the tacos! I can see why the al pastor sells out all the time, and the sweet potato/jalapeno was sooooooo good and had the perfect amount of spice with the jalapenos! Both my drinks were tasty and refreshing! If I lived in Burlington close to this spot, I would probably eat here several times per week. Awesome neighborhood joint for good eats and drinks!

Amazing taco place! The margarita was really great as well. We walked in and got a seat right at the bar. They have a large deck area as well, which would be great in the summer. I got a couple different tacos and they were both really good. My favorite was the special brisket one. Def worth a stop!

Today they have a delicious pork belly tostada. I always come early if I want a taco al pastor. I get a side of guacamole, pile on the radishes and cabbage s as bc hot sauce send I'm happy! Love the service and servers. Great bar, and new outdoor furniture! Ed njoy the outside tables until it gets tooo cold!

This is not a fancy place and it's not in a fancy part of town but get past that and you'll enjoy great drinks and excellent tacos. And yes, you CAN have excellent tacos in Burlington Vermont. We arrived ahead of their opening at 5:00 pm and were one of the first tables in. When I left at 6:30, the queue was down the block and in the rain. Yes, these tacos are that excellent. I went with a variety - one chicken, one asada and one carnitas. With it, a local beer that was served cold and went well. Served street taco style - double tortillas and topped with cilantro and onions, the carnitas was good and the chicken was good but the carne asada was fabulous. The beef was tender and flavorful and there was plenty of it. Friendly service and an industrial feel with tables and chairs that don't match. Pretty tasty food, I remember it being more expensive than I thought. Very filling and the meat had so much flavor. Everything tasted so fresh!

Off the beaten path away from the downtown area. Parking is tough. BUT, the tacos? Woah! Super simple menu and street tacos. Packed with flavor and just enough to not rip the tacos. So good. Will definitely go again.

I like it pretty much. They cannot make a run punch to save their lives since I did not have the ingredients, and the indoor seating area was closed that day due to at that time due to some kind of malfunction indoors, so all guest sat outside with a numerable white stuff buzzing around to make sure everyone was being taken care of. It was chaotic, and my first visit, but nothing they could help I believe. They did their best. D tostada that I ordered was not bad at all, and since I was very hungry and it was did not come close to filling, got a second one and I was not put off by that experience at all. Pretty scrumptious overall. Kinda meh on the recommend, but definitely will go again to see how it's working when the ducks are all aligned.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is solely based off customer service. Specifically the guy who was verbally abusive working the front door of taco gordo Halloween party. Not only was he condescending, saying all of his friends would get to enter in front of everyone standing in line but that he was going to do so all night, anytime any of them arrived and he didn't really care what anyone else thought. All said in a I don't give a shit attitude. Maybe you should since you have what started out as loyal customers who are now freezing outside and have been waiting. So disappointed. Get a clue and know that customers deserve better. Never coming back.

I want to start this review by saying I LOVE Mexican food with my whole entire heart... I am also a vegetarian and have been cursed with an avocado allergy which I'm sure most people could see to be problematic. While I know my allergy is super rare, as someone who is ServeSafe and allergen certified, this is a testament to how well this small but sassy establishment handles food allergies. I'm always the difficult one to order; I disclose my allergy, acknowledge that there is in fact lots of guac in the kitchen, therefore a high risk for cross contamination and I'm probably crazy for taking this risk, though it's a risk I will always take for Mexican food and margs with my friends. At the ordering counter, my server took detailed notes about my allergy, accommodated my laundry list of substitutions (I'm difficult, I know) and then followed up with the kitchen. He then came to find me at my table to inform me that the salsa verde also contained avocado and offered me yet another substitution. My food was brought out separately from my friends and my allergen was disclosed as I was served. "Absolutely no avocado." While I wasn't in the kitchen to see my food be prepared, as a former server and FOH manager, the ordering and service to accommodate me were flawless. It's a trust game I play to enjoy my favorite foods out and I don't always win, but I did today! Spicy Margs: 10/10 Gordo Supreme Burrito with Beans and "Absolutely NO Avocado: 10/10 Vibe check with friends: 10/10

I don't remember anything but the music. 80's played and I felt it. I danced. I also had a tasty burrito Tinga, which apparently is chicken. It was good. Hence the word tasty. I was already a few beers in when I arrived, so I drank water. It tasted good. That's not to be underestimated, as some places ruin the rest of their flavors by serving nasty tasting water. I recommend this place highly if you want a burrito. I prefer cheaper chips, but these were really good and the guac was good as well. Yeah. Go. Or come here.
