I was looking for something fun to do on our last night in the area, and saw that the Vermont Comedy Club was hosting an improv fest that evening. Tickets were only about $11 online, so I booked us for the last show of the night. We checked in when we arrived and grabbed a drink at the bar. Once we entered the main theatre, we were told we could sit anywhere that was open so we sat towards the back. If you want to order more drinks or snacks during the show you can do it via the QR code right at your table. We liked the soft pretzels and the drinks were very tasty! The show itself was entertaining and we had plenty of laughs. It was a welcoming space and everyone we interacted with was so nice.

Unexpected amazing cafe! Very tasty iced latte, hot chocolate, and a great breakfast sammy! Even with one barista the service was quick and very pleasant! Very cute and vibrant decor, and can even hear some laughs through the stage door. Hopefully i'll be back for trivia

We stopped by the club a couple of nights in a row, for Tuesday trivia and Wednesday improv. Both nights were a blast.

The highlight of our Vermont trip honestly. I bought tickets the day of, but didn't get a confirmation email. I realized I had let the cart/purchase time out previously so it didn't go through. I did email them, and they got back to me promptly. Great customer service. When we got there, they did check our vaccine cards, which gave us a piece of mind. The host/guy at the front showed us to a table at the front and reassured us it was a skit and not the stand up type of thing. We ordered food and drinks through the QR code on the table. I got a ginger mocktail while my husband got an espresso martini (they have a nice espresso machine!). We also ordered chicken tenders with honey mustard and poutine. Both of the foods came out before the show started (we got there 30 minutes before the show started). The show was HILARIOUS. The drinks were fantastic. They gave us glasses of water as well. I don't drink coffee, but my husband's espresso martini was delicious. If anything could turn me into a coffee drinker, it'd be that. The portion of food were huge. The chicken tenders were perfect. Well fried and delicious. They did give us mayo or some sort of aioli instead of honey mustard, but it was still good. The poutine was our favorite. I do wish the cheese curds were a little more melty, but it was still so good my husband made sure to eat all the cheese curds. If I'm ever back in Burlington, I'll definitely be making a stop here!

We laughed so long my cheeks hurt! Service was great. My old fashioned and jerked Cauliflower tacos were quite good. Can't wait to go back.

We had an awesome time at Thursday night's Mothra performance! I had reserved tickets online a few weeks beforehand. Upon arrival, they checked our COVID vax images and IDs at the box office and then sent us to the theater door, where a staff member escorted us to our table. On each table there's candle (so romantic) and a sign with a QR code which you can use to order drinks & snacks as well as pay via credit card. Our drinks (a 4 Quarters beer and an Aperol Spritz) were at our table within 10 minutes! The theater had just one server, who was working hard getting tables their food & drinks and doing it speedily and with a smile - stellar service! The show had an opening act who improvised fairy tales based on audience suggestions, and the main show, Mothra, took an audience suggestion and then the troupe shared true, personal stories related to that prompt, from which they then dove into the improv. It was so creative - not to mention funny - and a fun way to get to know others' personal stories as well.

The VCC is a great venue. It is smaller, which is nice because you are closer to the talent. Their cocktails are good. Their ticketing for shows are reasonably priced. I like seeing comedy shows here!

My husband and I went in to get a drink for jazz fest, waited over 15 mins just to be greeted. The blonde bar back took my husbands order but didn't even acknowledge me, she knew we were together because he had quickly asked me what I wanted to drink. Then he gets his drink and we waited another 10 mins trying to get someone's attention. So we left after paying $13 for my drink that I never even got!!

Never gonna complain about free entertainment. And this comedy show was just as good as other shows I have paid for in the past! We went on a Sunday night and the first show was a few comedians. We didn't stay for the second show because it was getting late but it sounded fun: 2 guys doing Shakespear Improv. Next time we will have to check it out! Upon entering the theater we were told to grab a piece of paper and crayons from a stack on a table. We had plenty of good tables to choose from inside and when we sat down there was a message to draw anything we wanted! It definitely helped pass the time and it was fun to tap into our inner child! The comedians were all pretty funny. We did order the hummus which was just okay. The nachos looked good so I recommend those. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area!
