This is the best croissant I have ever had, i don't thinkIhave ever described any food item as "the best".  It's infused with maple syrup and made with a perfectouter crisp.  The chocolate croissant is also delicious as well as the lattes and smoothie.   Service was great and fast. Just a little on the expensive side, as is everything in NE cities.

The croissant pastries are amazing! There are so many flaky layers. I’m not sure if there is an option to warm it up, but I would ask for next time. They also had a solid cappuccino.

Had a delicious spinach feta sesame seed croissant. Standard and creative assortment of hot drinks and baked goods. Also tried a “chagaccino” see pic for ingredients and was glad I did. Service excellent. The atmosphere is not very enticing but maybe that’s intentional. Real coffee cups if you ask.

Visited this small well known coffee cafe, not many table available during this peak hours. I think it is quite popular with students, seen one row occupied by them and they are really busy studying.
I am wondering whether is it possible to put more tables inside the cafe or is possible to introduce some outdoor seatings as I have seen some stores in other states allow that!

While visiting Burlington, my spouse spent more time at Black Cap than I, but he loved it as a place to sit and enjoy a leisurely coffee. We both got pastries one morning (his was gluten free, mine not) which were both ample and delicious. Great place.
