TLDR stay at the Hotel Vermont for cozy, unassuming luxury and hospitality hard to come by nowadays. This may be one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and certainly my favorite for this price point. January in Burlington can be a bit dreary but the Hotel Vermont makes it a cozy, approachable affair. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. I upgraded to a room with a whirlpool tub and the room was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Local products are everywhere in the hotel from the hand soaps to the evening chocolates on your pillow. The bed was firm and comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. Towels were fluffy. The hallway has a station with seltzer water and still, as well as teas and coffee and apples. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Any suggestions I have are so minute they’re laughable to raise. I will absolutely be returning again for work and play.

We had easily the best stay I've ever had at a hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic. We got the king with whirlpool tub and gas fireplace, and it was perfect. You can tell there was so much care and attention put into every detail from the shampoo and mattress to the towels and lighting. We also had dinner at Juniper and were equally blown away by the food and service. We are from the area and felt like we were on a vacation away. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely a fantastic beginning to a weekend hotel stay…
First night is with the kiddos and the room is great; allowed us to have them use the sofa bed and we even had an elf on a shelf in the kitchenette area  (Poker game motif) while the wife and I had a private space for ourselves.
Juniper Bar was very well serviced; Sarah and Caitlin were super on point and made killer drinks. Phone died as I was eavesdropping on some cool people in the fireplace room. Max, reception dude with great vibes, got out his personal charger and saved the day. Staff here is amazing. Booze selection is amazing. Rooms are hi end VT style and spacious.

I booked a night here after my hot water heater broke and had to get fixed, and I was very glad I did. The in-room jacuzzi tubs are great, service is impeccable, and the lobby and rooms are unique - it feels like an independent hotel, not just another Hilton. The add-ons are nice, too - we got Shacksbury cider delivered, and we were going to order the Lunaroma aromatherapy but they ran out.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful time.  First off, our room was described perfectly on the website.  The was comfortable and spotless.  Our first night, we ate at the Juniper restaurant and found both the food and service excellent. The hotel staff is awesome and professional.  They were quick to point out some places we might find interesting and always available to answer any of our questions. The hotel is within walking distance to Lake Champlain and many other attractions.  Everything else is just a short drive away.
