Linda’s home was an incredible find in beautiful Burlington. Our first time, we were very thankful to have found her bed and breakfast. Cozy, lived in, clean, creaky, and quiet, our stay was perfect.

I was worried I would hear the floorboards from our room when trying to sleep but by some sort of magic, I couldn’t! The fact that the rooms were well insulated made the whole experience more quaint and relaxing.

Robes, slippers, breakfast(!), drinks, and treats at every turn— I’m not sure how you could find anything better.

We ate on the back patio each morning, you must try Linda’s cheesy eggs, blueberry pancakes, and breakfast potatoes.

Do yourself a favor and stay in room 904 for a few nights. You won’t regret it.

We had a small lovers getaway on a not so cold february weekend. Linda was amazing, easy going and so fun to talk to! She had the best restaurant recommendations, we ended up at Pizzeria Veritas which was amazing !
We booked the smallest room, which was perfectly enough for us two, love the design choices and the complementary snacks and filled fridge were a great addition (my husband loved the beer).
We were lucky, I guess, to have the whole place to ourselves on that weekend, we enjoyed the spa alone and we relaxed in every common space possible.
Breakfast was delicious, Linda knows how to cook ! Location is perfect, 4-5 corners of the main street, perfect for discovering the city (which is very pretty). I highly recommend to everyone who wants an all inclusive getaway, we would have loved to stay an extra day, but we had to go back to the kids and life.

Little note to those who want to book, the bathrooms are not attached, but it is not even a concern, it is for your own use and you can lock it if you feel the need to, we even enjoyed a dreamy bath in the antique clawfoot tub! 😀

Don't forget to visit the third floor for an amazing view of the lake!

My husband and I celebrated his 40th birthday this week with a small vacation to VT and we settled on Made Inn Vermont. First, the location is incredible. We were able to walk to Church Street and to several of the restaurants and bars in the area. Second, the B&B itself was more than we could’ve ever hoped for. It’s so cozy and quaint, with a quirky modern twist! There’s so many amenities, we honestly would’ve been happy never leaving to venture out. The host, Linda, was so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. She made sure we always had everything we needed and was so attentive every time we stopped in to grab a coffee or snack. She and her assistant offered up an incredible breakfast each day as well, and she was always helpful in suggesting shops we might enjoy, the best restaurants and things to do in the area. Between the fun and funky rooms, fun hangout spots such as the outdoor hot tub, unlimited coffee and pastries, and the cupola complete with a telescope and cozy linens, we honestly had the best time. We can’t wait to venture that way for another trip just so we can stay at Made Inn Vermont again.
