Great ski resort across the Northeast, varied terrain provides good experience for advanced skiers and beginners. Lift lines are not too long, even during peak periods. Ample snowmaking is done on icy trails.

Let me first say that I typically ski NJ, PA and southern NY. My only true bigger mountains were Hunter (NY), Okemo (VT) and White Face (NY).

This was my first trip to Killington and I must say I was in awe. The Mountain and resort, is incredibly spacious and even on busy days, it never felt crowded and you had acres to yourself. The views were spectacular and the trails were great!

I went on MLK weekend and my longest lift line was 5 mins. Now once there, K-1 lodge is the busiest and main lodge/lift. So if you know this during peak times, it is easier to ski in different areas and use the quieter lodges and lifts.
The terrain has plenty for everyone, from the brand new beginner to the seasoned veteran.
There are long runs, moguls, some very challenging blacks, super fun blues and some easy scenic trails across the different peaks.

The weather was fantastic and just had a fresh 4 inches the night before.
Yes the price is high, but the staff were attentive, well trained and the lodges were relaxing and well maintained.
I will definitely be back!

Best mountain in north east.  Enclosed lifts.  Plenty of lodges.  Also EV charging at K1 lodge!  They have shuttle buses which go around to different lodges.  Check out peak lodge where you can get a drink at the mountain peak!

Killy Killy continues to earn its Beast of the East nickname. Recent investments in the K1 lodge, snowmaking, and bubble chairlift have actually made a difference for the overall mountain experience being more accommodating and fun. Yes, weekends are packed and a zoo but that’s New England skiing for ya. My go to mountain from Boston area for some real skiing that’s not 3+ hours away.
