Attended a conference and stayed at DoubleTree in Burlington twice now and both times have been splendid. I love all the plants in the atrium and the seating options in that area. They have Keurigs in all the rooms - I like that they also had sleepytime tea k-cups. Perfect for people traveling and wanting a good nights sleep. The staff are absolutely incredible. Every single staff member I interacted with was polite, courteous, and professional (front desk staff, shuttle drivers, waitstaff, and housekeeping). The room was nice and clean when I arrived and the conference area was also tidy and comfortable. The staff constantly refreshed snacks and beverages for everyone attending the conference and their snack variety was great. The conference buffet food that was provided was fine, not my favorite but I understand that they were feeding a lot of people and I'm sure had a lot of prep. I did appreciate that they offered fruit for breakfast and always had salad options for lunch. They also labeled the food items with any allergen information which was something new this year from last and I appreciated that.

Aside from high price gouging during peek foliage season the hotel was not the cleanest by any means. Dangerous exposed wall outlet, bugs, and mold in the shower. Completely disappointed with no follow up when reviewed.

I was surprised to see the mixed reviews of this place. We truly enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. For a DoubleTree, the lobby and common area had a lot of ambience. We hung out and read by the fire in the evening and enjoyed the skylights of the atrium during breakfast. The location is also great -- just off the highway, but fairly close to the center of Burlington. (It is also next to UVM). We were just stopping by on the way to Canada, and it really fit the bill. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely consider staying again.

Not the best, not the worst. The bathroom DEFINITELY could use a deep clean. The room is a good size and had a decent size closet. The mini fridge was bigger than most hotel refrigerators. The AC was functional, but the bottom was broken. I could definitely see that being a hazard for kids. The lobby has been updated and is beautiful with lots of live plants. The rooms have partially been updated. Our room was serviced every day, which was really nice since so many hotels have stopped that in recent years. The front desk was really nice and helpful. They stored our luggage after check out before our flight AND they have an airport shuttle.

We enjoy staying at this Doubletree, this is our second stay it is conveniently located near all the Burlington colleges, and has parking and cookies on check in. Wi-Fi works, bed is comfy, fridge in the room, nice big tv, our room was clean enough. I think the hotel has had add ons because navigating to your room can be a trek. Breakfast is not included and there are so many great breakfast spots in Burlington I'm kind of glad it isn't. Easy on/off the highway too.

I stayed here while traveling for business at the University of Vermont Medical Center. The hotel is perfectly located: just a few minutes from Burlington International Airport, just off Interstate 89, and mere steps from UVM. This makes it perfect for travelers coming to Burlington. The hotel itself is large and has an interesting layout where you walk through the front entryway and back through the hotel restaurant/dining area before you get to the actual building portion with the multiple floors of rooms. I found my hotel room to be spacious, seemingly recently-updated, and clean. There is a mini fridge in the room for anyone traveling with food or bringing home leftovers. I did not try the restaurant within the hotel but it looked nice. The staff were accommodating with any requests or questions I had. Overall, I would definitely recommend this DoubleTree location if your travels take you to Burlington, Vermont.

I do not understand the poor reviews. I've stayed here a few times because it was one of the only dog friendly places in the area. I love to travel to with our dog, George, and they treat him so wonderfully there, they get major points with me for that alone. Staff greets him enthusiastically and by name every time we walk by the desk, and even gave us a bag of treats for him. There is a walking path next to a pond and waste bags on property. Everything is clean. Staff is super friendly. The tavern has pretty good food (biggest salad ever) and drinks. Great location. If I'm being honest, though, I mostly go there for the cookies. All of that being said, let's talk about the comfort. Their beds are like getting a big hug. Between the down pillows, pillow top beds, and the heavy yet cooling comforter, I get the BEST night's sleep there. No joke. We just ordered the pillows they have for our house. We love them that much. We're considering the mattress and comforter to duplicate the experience. George, my husband, and I all give five stars. We will stay here every time we go to Burlington.

Rooms are outdated and really dark. One of the biggest complaints is having to use stairs and drag your bags up them. There is supposedly an elevator but it is way out of the way from some rooms. It seems like a hodgepodge of buildings put together to make a hotel. The usually gooey chocolate chip cookies were served room temperature and hard as a rock. The hotel bar had a sewage like smell to it. Definitely wouldn't choose to stay here again. The food beverage credit wasn't automatically applied to my bill and I had to call twice to get it applied.

Do not stay here. They charge for bottled water in the rooms. There is no complementary breakfast. There is no complementary anything. Prices are extremely high. Finally, they leave a letter at your door, criticizing you for having a Do Not Disturb sign on your door all day long. It is my purgative not to have anyone in our room, with our stuff lay around. Guess they are looking to see if be bought off on the stinking bottled water. Most other hotels do not do all this.

This is located between the airport and downtown. I was a little concerned about the location, but they provided a free shuttle service between to/from the airport and to/ from the downtown area. I certainly took advantage of that. The staff was amazing. I loved the warm cookies ( just ask for them at the front desk). The room was nice and clean. I got a room facing the atrium. Everything worked great. They cleaned my room every day. Bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. They have a gym and indoor pool also but did not use them. It has an onsite restaurant. I had a burger, and it was actually good. They also have breakfast buffet or regular menu for breakfast at the atrium. I tried both and preferred the regular menu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would stay here again.
