I don't have much to say other than AAA provides awesomeness customer service. I used my towing service when I was trapped driving a car less than road worthy. I was STUCK alone and out there on my own. The phone rep dispatched a tow truck quickly and asked me if I wanted her to contact someone to come and sit with me until the tow truck got there - wonderful service. The tow truck came quickly. The driver acknowledged me by name and introduced himself, then quickly hooked my car to the flatbed that I requested because my car is an AWD. Yay, for the AAA representative who listened to my request and followed through perfectly! Everything about this service was excellent. The call was answered quickly, and the rep was extremely knowledgeable. The customer rep sent me a text link that gave me updates on my tow truck assignment, the trucks' real-time location, and a button to push to be reconnected to a customer rep if I had any issues. I received this membership over 35 years ago as an associate member on my parents' account. I have kept it throughout college, military service, and my transition back into civilian life. This time, like every other time, the level of customer service has been wonderful, top-notch, and impressive. Yes, I will keep and share their APP. Smiles, my friends know I do not like adding apps to my phone, HeeHee! AAA is the first APP I allowed to update on it's own. I love this company.

This AAA Tidewater location opened on June 24, 2019 after closing their prior location in the Kings Grant section of the city. This new location is part of the Landstown Commons Shopping Center, next to Kohl's. My first visit to this new location was on July 17, 2019. The size of the new location looks bigger than the old one, but it is actually smaller in space. The new location here is much more open. It does get louder due to the high ceilings and the openness as well. When you come in, you no longer do a paper sign in. They have an electronic sign in tablet once you come in. You choose the type of service you are looking for (travel agent, insurance, travel maps, etc.). You can also request a specific person as well. There are some bugs still with it, but I am sure it will get resolved in due time. I usually work with Tim for maps and such, while I work with Connie as my travel agent for major trips such as cruises. The place was a little busy when we came in, as they were also doing TSA pre-check interviews that day as well. We did wait a few minutes for what I was coming in for, but wasn't too bad. Tim hooked us up with our TripTik and map for our round trip to Mississippi and back. I really like working with him for my travel mapping needs. After getting that taken care of, we got with Connie to go over a few things for our upcoming cruise. Overall, this was a great experience at this new location. It's also closer to home, making it more convenient too. With great service and a friendly staff, you will like this place too. If you are looking for any type of travel needs, I definitely recommend coming here to get that info.

I came here to transfer my membership. Robert made the process easy. The office has plenty of travel booklets and maps for out of state and foreign travel. I also enjoyed the complimentary coffee.

I was stranded with my truck for four hours and could not get a tow truck to tow me. I talked to four different AAA agents and could not get help. I finally got my own tow and paid for it myself. My wife's car broke down six months ago and it took three hours to get a tow. I have been with AAA for years. They used to be good. They are no longer the same AAA. I will not be renewing my membership.
