While thinking of something quick to grab for dinner, we decided to head to Feather-N-Fin. I hadn't tried it before but heard nothing but good things. The restaurant was very clean and thankfully, there wasn't much of a wait on a Tuesday night. As I looked over the menu, I was under impressed with the menu options. I asked if they had any combo dinners that included fish and shrimp or any other combinations and he said they don't offer that which was unfortunate because that's exactly what I wanted. I inquired about adding shrimp on the side of a dinner option and he mentioned the shrimp was $1.10 per piece. With the dinners already $13-14, I couldn't imagine spending almost $20 for a meal at a fish & chicken spot. After much consideration, I decided on the Fish Dinner with fries and coleslaw. I did ask about their mac and cheese but was told that it's just typical mac and cheese, nothing special, so I decided against it. Since the cakes looked pretty tasty, I also ordered the carrot cake. The Fish Dinner was pretty good. It's whiting fish and it comes with four pieces. I'm not a big fan of whiting but the fish was seasoned well and tasted fresh. The fries were very lightly salted but I did add their "Everything Rub" seasoning on them and it made them taste great! The coleslaw was actually creamy and delicious and I enjoyed it. The dinner comes with 3 hush puppies which contain corn and tasted wonderful. After our dinner, we tried the carrot cake and it was very good. The cake was moist and not too dense and even though it included raisins (which I hate lol), it still tasted very good. Overall, the food was alright for the most part. The staff was very friendly which I enjoyed. In my opinion, they should introduce combo dinners to the menu and also include drinks with the dinner options because they are not included. Not sure if I'll be stopping back in anytime soon but it's a decent spot if you have taste for some fried fish or chicken.

Always consistently delicious food and courteous staff. Definitely recommend! Crew went above and beyond to make sure my food was perfect.

The customer service needs an upgrade! The three employees who were behind the counter spent more time conversing with one another than completing the orders. One particular employee kept scratching her head (no hair net). I placed an order and was told "it'll be 15 mins." Only to return in 15 mins and my food is just being dropped in the grease!!!

The place is clean, cheap and delicious. I had the fish sandwich. It's huge but eh fillets have the perfect balance of breading and fish. The fried pickles are also wonderful. The prices are more then reasonable. If you are looking for a fast, and delicious meals then stop by.

I would rather give it 3.3 stars than a solid 3. chicken was fried golden but lack seasoning. Fish sandwich was on special. Tarter sauce took it up a notch. Let's talk about that lemon creme cake though! Delish! Mac and cheese was processed cheese. Ugh! Nasty.

First time at this food truck and let me tell you... it's at the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd and Witchduck Rd. in Virginia Beach not far from VB Towne Center. The food truck is located in the huge parking lot of Freedom Shooting Center. I've passed by the food truck a few times and kept meaning to stop and wasn't sure if it would stay at this location but it's been there now for several weeks so I highly suggest if you're into chicken and fish baskets to stop by and try them asap! I got the fish basket with fries and sweet tea (combo) $10. It was Very filling, hot and seasoned well. Allow about 15 mins for them to make it fresh. There's plenty of space outside to social distance as you wait because there is typically a line. They moved pretty quickly through it. I like hot sauce and ketchup, (they also had tartar sauce) that's pretty much the only condiments they have so if you need salt, pepper, vinegar you'll need to get that yourself. Their drink options are limited to tea and water for now. They have sanitizer out for use by customers waiting. I'm so glad I stopped by. I will be returning! :)

Visited the FeatherNFin on Virginia Beach Blvd and the customer service has got to be the worst I've ever experienced. The new female manager had a terrible attitude and does not know how to talk to customers nor does she know how to talk to the one other person that was on staff. While I appreciate the people who showed up for work today short staffed I don't appreciate the tone and attitude of the service received. As a manager who has been working in a service environment for 19 years there definitely needs to be some additional training acquired for the staff. I would give zero stars if I could!

If there was a way to give this place no stars I would. On 9/20/24 around noon, my father and I walk inside for a big order. Before we could tell the woman the second part of our order, she cuts my father off telling us about not being able to ring up the order and that we had to put it in the kiosk machine. She was hostile about it when she told this and mentioned something of a sign that they put in front of the store. Her attitude already rubbed me the wrong was but i asked her will I have to pay with my card because I had cash. I did not want to pay with my card. My dad asked that same question and the girl was again very hostile, being animated, turning her back towards us and looking at the woman in the back as if we did something wrong to her. She claimed that she explained this three times to us but didn't tell us anything that's why we had questions. We had been in this location a few times and no one told us that they couldn't type our order in. The woman kept being animated and all over the place. So my dad finally just told her I understand but the woman kept asking did we understand as if we were kids instead of just asking what was the order. I was completely frustrated at this point I can tell my my father is too. My father and I just decided we didn't want anything and the woman asked "oh its like that?" And my father replies "yes its like that because you are rude." The conversation goes downhill from there. My father was heated and I haven't seen him that angry in a long time. Then the woman wants to play the I'm a woman card and I literally had to pull my dad out the restaurant. Now my father didn't call the woman out her name or anything but she comes outside as we're getting in the car to leave and calls my father a B as other people are pulling up. This was the worst customer service I've ever seen. I wish I knew the woman's name because I wanna report her. People like this is the reason why businesses fail and I will NEVER return to this location. Anyone with a business, please be careful who you hire. Professionalism goes a long way.
