Tried Mr Shawarma the other day for the first time when in Virginia Beach to visit my parents. Ordered pick up and got two chicken shawarma wraps, one each for me and my mom. When I went in to grab the food, it was ready and waiting and the bag was heavier than I expected! Nice full wraps! They were pretty delicious: flavorful, a little spicy, some good textures wrapped up together and spread well within wrap so most bites were well balanced and tasty. I'd definitely eat it again.

Mr Shawarma is consistent and tasty. Service and cleanliness are always on par. First time having a bowl here and it was on point. Both lamb/beef, chicken and falafel options are awesome. The fried eggplant is a nice touch.

Sophia and I ate lunch at this Mr. Shawarma location last Saturday in Virginia Beach. This was actually a Plan B since our 1st choice had a 35-40 wait time to where we had to leave. I've been wanting to try them out ever since they opened, so let's see how the visit went. We were both greeted by staff after walking inside. They were pretty busy with customers that were already ahead of us. They had a decent crowd seated inside and pop music was blasting through the building, but not too loud where you couldn't hear yourself speak. The decor for the most part was spotless. I say a little better than the Norfolk location. For my meal, I selected the chicken shawarma pita with veggies and a side of fries. Everything was pretty good and well cooked. It tasted the same as the Norfolk local. The only slight I had was the pita could've been a little warmer, but nonetheless, I was satisfied with my selection. Not a bad Plan B if I said so myself. Good food with a great staff. We even spoke to the owner a little bit while we ate. Definitely ran just right. We'll be back the next time we're in the area :)

Best Shawarma in the area! Very customizable with fresh vegetables. Tried the falafel bowls (super crispy & delicious) that came with a side of pita (pillowy & warm) and my gosh the red spicy harissa was packed with heat! Got a nectar with my meal that offset the spiciness and baklava as dessert. Very worth it for a bowl or wrap due to how big the serving was! Incredibly friendly staff if you're unfamiliar with Mediterranean cuisine.

Excellent Falafel! Love the authentic style wraps. Option to add fresh cut fries to any and everything. Order from the menu or build your own bowl, pita or wrap. Service is always kind and fresh proteins always in queue. Perfect for lunch or midweek takeout.

If you're looking for shawarma, look no further than Mr. Shawarma. When you first walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff, and the place is well-maintained. If you like beef and lamb, I highly recommend getting it in pita, though they also offer it in a wrap or bowl , and they also have chicken and sabih. According to their website, all their meats are halal. It's a great spot to grab a meal with family, friends, or coworkers. If you're craving shawarma, I definitely recommend giving this place a try

A couple of months ago, I had a chance to try the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and it was absolutely amazing. Since then, I've wanted to return to try the Beef & Lamb Shawarma and I'm so happy I did. I arrived around 8pm on a Friday night and was happily greeted by all the staff. Unfortunately, they seemed to be running low on a few items, including the chicken and falafels, but since I was there for the Beef & Lamb Shawarma, I didn't mind. The lady making my bowl was very nice, she even let me try one of the last few falafels they had and it was great. My Beef & Shawarma Bowl consisted of sliced beef, hummus, jalapeño cilantro schug, fried eggplant, rice, chickpeas and veggies. They offer a variety of sauces as well so I asked for the garlic sauce and the harissa aioli on the side. The food was delicious! Everything paired so well together and the sauces enhanced the flavors even more. Mr. Shawarma offers pitas, wraps and bowls with fresh and flavorful ingredients. I highly recommend stopping by and trying it out. You will not be disappointed!!!

The best shawarma in Coastal Virginia. The service is super friendly and always making great suggestions. I absolutely love the food. Try the beef & lamb combo on pita! The fries with dipping sauce are super good too. Everything tastes so fresh every time. Such a great spot in VB!

Probably one of the worst shawarmas I've ever had. I'm not sure if it was the meat or the vegetables but something in my pita shawarma got me sick. The chicken was a little colder than I expected but the rest of the food was sitting out at room temp. I also saw them put food in a bowl and then put it back in the tray after touching other food when it was the wrong order.

I went to try Mr. Shawarma I ordered the beef and lamb bowl asked what else i wanted ask if I wanted hummus I declined twice. I like the beef and lamb, but I can't tell which from which. If it was just lamb it would have been nicer. The basamati rice is good, are nice and the garlic and tahini sauce was nice as well. The fried eggplants and pickled cabbage and cucumber tomato salad was fresh. The fries were ok. I would have like a larger size drink. Overall I thought this was a good meal. The customer service was really friendly and helpful. I like that and the inside was very clean and nobody were there at 11:01am. I didn't notice those specialty drinks, i thought they were in cans but now i see the pictures on yelp and its in bottles oh well I will go again next time to get those.
