I’m on a mission to try every donut place in Seattle. After much hype I was excited to go to general porpoise. Gotta say I was disappointed. The flavors they had all sounded good but each seemed somewhat under-powered. There seemed to be not enough filling for the donut and the donuts themselves were kinda stale. I was there in the afternoon, but that’s when I eat donuts anyway usually and the difference seemed notable to me.

All-in I would place them a worse than top pot. Meh.

We had heard a lot about the donuts from here in public forums. So we arrived here one day.
What we ordered - A variety of donuts - chocolate, lemon curd, vanilla and raspberry. Drip coffee and cappuccino. All the donuts were cold and dry. Only good thing I liked was the vanilla custard filling. The price is a deterrent too. The coffee was truly forgettable.
