"I'm Going Slightly Mad" - Queen. This location was our return for the rental from SEATAC to downtown Seattle, for a 6-hour rental. We forked out the $69.00 rental for the day as we wanted to explore the city before checking into our hotel, and go shopping. It was also nice as my husband and son used the car as a crash pad to catch some ZzzzS while I was parked at Pike Market Place and went shopping alone. The return wasn't as smooth as the pick-up from the airport as the street signs were CONFUSING as heck. No left turn except for buses onto 3rd, what??? We circled around and around using Waze app due to multiple one-way streets. The entrance to Alamo for the garage wasn't really marked, either. It was the Twilight Zone. After about a stupid and ridiculous 20- minute drive being stuck on one-way streets and circling around and around, I said, "screw this! I am turning LEFT!" Once into the building, there were no signs, so we drove up a few flights to an Alamo booth and idled the car, wondering what to do. There were no signs, did I already say that? There was a lone woman in a booth talking to what appeared to be a customer. I had to get out of the car to ask her what to do, and she said we could just park the car. She was nice, though. You need sleuthing skills to return a car here. Convenient, but only if you know what you are doing.

We picked up a car @ Seattle airport on a Wednesday & returned the car on Sunday @ the 3rd street return location. All the employees we encountered were fantastic. The car was great ! The reason for the "2" rating was the return. We were scheduled to return the car at 1 pm on 10/5/25. We were an hour early only to find 3rd street completely blocked off. In addition the other street to get to the drop off location was Stewart Street which too was closed !!! After trying to get to the garage for 90 min we finally decided to go to our hotel. Leave the car. Walk .8 miles to the return location. Here the sales guy was sympathetic & told us how to drive back. So, we walked back to our Marriott .8 miles away got the car & then drove it back. BUT being able to return the car required us to break traffic laws & turn onto a closed one way street going the wrong way. I tried to call the number for the 3rd street location but it was a national number. The lady didn't understand what I was asking (how to get to the drop off garage with all roads closed ). I hung up. I think Alamo dropped the ball. They had my cell number. They knew the roads were closed they could have easily sent a text to all car returning guests to give details on how to break the law to get to the return garage. Definitely not end to my vacation I was expecting. (Spent 3 hours trying to return the rental !)

I booked a car online and since I would need to walk half an hour to get to this branch location I wanted to call ahead to confirm that a car is available. However, there is NO local phone number available and the alamo 800 call center also couldnot locate a local branch phone number and adviced me that in the worst case situation that there is no car available when I arrive that I would have to work it out with the local branch office manager. This is not what I would call a good rental car company practice considering this is a small branch and where car inventory can be small. _-------_-_------------++-- I want to add additional review: The service at the branch office was great! cars are clean signs are clear service agents at the front desk are super friendly when I return the car I run into the branch manager who is super helpful five star for the branch office

Great rental experience. The car was clean and in good condition. I've had alot of bad rental car experiences before and this was one of the best in recent years. My car was ready and the attendants told me all of the information I needed to know about the vehicle before I left. I returned this car in another state and there were no issues at any point.

This place is a bit misleading as it's located on floor B of a parking garage, then I found it ok but no one seemed available to help. The two people working went to help other customers, I think? I stood there for about 20 minutes without seeing an employee. Eventually, a manager guy saw me standing outside and asked if I had been helped yet. I said no. He said one minute, he was going to find the salespeople and see why no one was there. Then the employee came back with the manager guy and I heard the employee tell the manager guy that his coworker didn't show up today. Eventually, I went to the window to be helped but was told they had to help someone who had been waiting 45 min already. When the employees are driving cars, they are flying. Definitely going at unsafe speeds for being in a garage filled with customers. I've been here for just about an hour now as I write this. I've rented cars at several other places, and other alamos. I've never seen one with such terrible logistics and service levels.

My husband accidentally booked a car rental in this branch instead of the branch near the airport. So they let us switch a car where we can return at the airport on the day we fly back to TX. Will definitely recommend this place. Thank you guys, this has been a great experience.

I docked from the port in the AM and I needed a car for the day to roam around the city beyond Pike Place. They offer free shuttle from the dock to Alamo...conveniently located next to the Market. After getting dropped off, I checked in and got a car without issues. There really must've been a hiccup in their system because I was able to get an SUV for a sedan price. From the person who picked me up to the person checking me in the process was smooth. The best part about it was that I was able to pick up and return at a different location for a fraction of the costs to its competitors.

We were left alone from Thrifty at Seattle airport when our credit card got rejected from their terminal. They would not give us the long time ago reserved car. The card was fine though. We went to Alamo and we were very grateful, that Sofia attended us with so much sensitivity and helped us with our big problem: A trip of 4 weeks ahead with 2 children and no car. Sofia did her very best to make it possible for us to start our travels with our children. Our credit card went right through without any problems, we wonder why Thrifty couldn't do that. Thank you again, we really appreciate it! We are very grateful and congratulate you on this wonderful employee.

Okay, So I walked to this place from the train place. It was a pleasant walk and even got to visit Pike Place before getting my car. It was a strange experience because the rental office was in the middle of the city. I showed up and I think the guy I talked to was named Bruno. He looked like he hated his life. But he wasn't talkative or friendly for that matter. Check my reservation, swiped my card, did not give me much information but told me to pick up the car on the 5th floor. whatever. But the drop off at the airport was pleasant. I dropped off the car and a young lady with a smile was happy to take the car out of my hands. she took the key, looked around the car, started the engine, told me I was good and gave me a receipt. I was able to walk up the escalator where a bus took me to the airport. Almost perfect experience.

We recently rented a car from Alamo at the Seattle airport. We wanted to be able to return it downtown so we could get a shuttle ride to the ship. We have never had such a seamless rental return ever. We were lucky enough to be waited on by Dennis Zapata. He was friendly and efficient and helped us with our luggage. They actually drove us right to the cruise ship terminal. Alamo is now going to be my only rental company. Thanks for such great service.
