My son and I were lucky enough to get 11:00 a.m. entry tickets, which have a strictly enforced 15-minute entry window. This Amazon workplace has over 40,000 plants from 30 countries. Its full-time workers are plant ambassadors who are available for questions. The workplace offers water, coffee, and restrooms. The visit takes under an hour, and I recommend starting at the top and working your way down. Only a lucky 3,200 guests get to visit this Amazon office oasis on the first and third Saturday of the month.

This was actually my second time visiting the Amazon Spheres... and of course, I somehow missed the entrance again! These glass domes in the middle of downtown Seattle are seriously stunning so futuristic on the outside and filled with lush greenery inside (or so I hear... since I still haven't made it in yet, lol). We were there at the end of September, and sadly, the Spheres weren't open to the public that day. For anyone planning a visit, pro tip: the Spheres are only open to the public on the first and third Saturday of each month, and you'll need to reserve tickets online in advance through seattlespheres.com. To make matters worse, we also missed the corpse flower blooming by just one day! I was so bummed! That rare bloom only lasts a short time and apparently smells awful but is a total spectacle to witness. Even though we couldn't go inside, the exterior alone is worth checking out. The glass panels reflect the Seattle skyline beautifully, and there's plenty of greenery and photo ops around the courtyard. Next time, I swear I'm making it inside!

A friend told me about these spheres when I was visiting last week, so I dropped by for a look. Gotta admit they are pretty cool, it'd be nice to have a work environment like that to go to every day! Taking up a corner of the block, these 3 glass bubbles look as if they're simultaneously rising out of the ground, nestled in between a well-manicured jungle growth glistening in the sunlight--while encapsulating the explosion of green vegetation inside. Fantastical. The plants surrounding hint at the variety inside. While I didn't go in, I enjoyed taking a walk around these huge baubles. There looks to be about three floors inside, with labeled plant life, lounge areas, hanging art, a cafe. Willmott's Ghost, a contemporary Italian kitchen on the first floor, is also available as a dining option. The community banana truck on weekdays is a popular spot to check out. I didn't realize they have a sign-up for free entry every 1st and 3rd Saturdays so I'll make sure to get ahead of that next time! Sounds like a guided tour is available those days too.

Just catch its open hours (weekdays 8am-3:30pm). - I could only afford a 1-week vacation in Seattle, so unfortunately I couldn't meet the Saturday public visiting times. + Though public access inside the Spheres is strictly limited to the first and third Saturdays of each month via reservation, they have an Understory where we can see live poisonous frogs and carnivorous plants of the Amazon. + I like the Amazon Go store that's just around the corner from here. This is for someone who likes being outside. It felt like I was in a rainforest of different plants. My family thought it was the coolest. I don't enjoy getting sprinkled with the mist when it's time for watering. Also of the people who work for Amazon work from there, it is a peaceful spot, you can get coffee as well and sit and relax. Maybe Im not a big fan because I live in an area with palm trees and swamps. (Florida.) Still if you love greenery and want to learn about it, this is for you.

A pretty cool spot to explore as a plant enthusiast! They had tons of variety, all in tip top shape and some fun photo op spots. I also enjoyed the sprinkling in of tanks with fish and amphibians.

I enjoyed spheres. There are five or six floors. I lost count. There was a bonsai tree exhibit that I enjoyed, I loved the wall of flowers and greenery as well as the fauna and the aquarium along the wall. The seating is unique and there's plenty of it. The bathroom is clean. The doors to the bathrooms, I felt were grand forward to ceiling doors. I made sure to take my picture in the nest. If you are lacking creativity, this place will bring it back for you. The staff was nice and approachable.

What a beautiful space in the middle of downtown Seattle. It feels like a tropical rainforest with a diverse range of plants. So peaceful and relaxing. There's a cafe that serves coffee, donuts, and gelato. Plenty of seating to sit and unwind while being surrounded by nature. I recommend visiting this place if you're in the area. Make sure to make a reservation online ahead of time, as it's required to visit. It's definitely worth the effort. Oh, and there's also a banana stand right outside the Spheres that gives out free bananas! A fun and unexpected little bonus during your visit.

I was at a conference in Seattle and was provided the opportunity to visit the Amazon Spheres with an AWS worker. I have to say, that this is a gorgeous place just to visit and see all the foliage and layout. You can tell it was intentionally designed from the structure being two giant domes, the way they ensured plants were organized based on geographic regions, and the cozy areas you could sit and relax. A huge plus - coffee is onsite. If you get a chance come visit, and then once you leave, make sure to grab a banana from the banana stand.
