Top-notch framing at incredibly affordable prices! I came in with seven variously sized pieces, from small antique prints to a metal Loteria plaque to poster-sized art, and was able to get them all matted and framed for less than $1000. I appreciate the time and care that the team spent on helping me select the right frames and mounts for each piece, as well as the most reasonable glass option based on the relative value and likely hanging location of each work. Super happy with the final results, and I'll be coming back with any future framing needs!

What a daunting task to find a custom frame shop. LUCKILY I found Baas! The moment I walked in they were very welcoming. They showed genuine interest in the items I needed to frame. Took time to help me find a frame for my artwork, never did I feel rushed. The collaboration was exceptional. Even when a frame didn't arrive as ordered they rushed a replacement within a few days. Pretty cool.

I stopped here to browse while walking to Madison Park on a bright fall day. It's a frame store and so much more. They also have artwork, ceramics, jewelry, and fair trade goods from Guatemala. The Cary Lane ceramics - https://www.thebowlmaker.com/ - made by a Bellingham artist are delightful. If you need a gift for someone or just for yourself take something with you. The fair trade beadwork is beautiful. Well worth the stop.

I had been using this place (along with a couple others) and thought it time to review, because with same ownership but new staff I got a very indifferent framing job, would probably only consider them to be competitive on price. You'll need an appointment if they feel like it, but was able to get the pieces I had framed (the 4th and 5th, I believe, with them) in three weeks' less time than what they said.

Karrie did a free design consultation, offering multiple design directions - each with its rationale. Because we were working long distance, she texted photos of different frame, mat and color options. I'm blown away by the personal service and the collective expertise at this framing studio. And I couldn't be happier with how perfectly the shadowbox frame captures the spirit of my friend's painting.

Baas is focused on customer needs, and walks the fine line between recommending what is right and recommending what is cost-effective. I needed something floated between two panes of glass so we could display either side. They accommodated that ridiculous requirement and delivered something that was tasteful and well-crafted. They walked me through concerns I wouldn't have thought of and helped me find the right solution for the piece, and they didn't waste time trying to sell me on features or upgrades I wouldn't need. Oh this was on my first time there, too. So it's not like I was a repeat customer - yet.
