Ballard Elks is a good place to go to for several reasons: one is that their location is right on the water and so the view is great. Also, they do a lot of charity work for veterans and youth.

The management and members are some of the most self entitled assholes in this part of Seattle. They completely disregard parking laws, park in private lots, block driveways and generally just take over the area during their events. They have zero regard for others and will park as close as possible to an existing vehicle leaving it stuck til they decide to move that night or the next morning. Complaints are ignored at best or you get yelled at when they do answer. But if you park in their lot they will have you towed and impounded. Douchebags!

I attended The Elks as a guest of a member. We had dinner and it was good. She got the chicken burger with avocado and a side salad and said her burger was tasty. I got the fish and chips which auto comes with 3 pieces of cod - only got 2 but they were big. When we looked at the check, we were charged for 3 pieces but the bartender had left off my Coke so we said it was a wash. My friend's two drinks were stiff and strong. You order your drinks and food at the bar, no table service, but they do deliver the food to your table. You bus your table afterwards. The bar has a nice ambiance. I hear that the view of the sound is amazing but since it's winter and dark at 4 o'clock, there was nothing to see out there so I'll check that out next time. They have pool, shuffleboard, a few TV's with sports playing, an area with couches and a coffee table. The stage and dining area is rentable, and they had a poster advertising a battle of the bands in January that I want to come back and see. It looks like a good place for a small concert, anniversary party or charity event. Huge parking lot.

My friends had been telling me about the Elks for years, and recommended I join. Well last summer we finally applied and joined and I'm so happy I did! It's a great organization that does tons of charitable events and fundraisers to help the community. It's fun, the food is great, the bartenders, especially T and Nick, are awesome! Highly recommend if you're looking for a community to be a part of!

My Dad was in town from California and wanted to check out an Elks. I read off the three local to Kirkland and he picked Ballard, saying that he heard great things about it. We had an AMAZING time. First off, thinking of Ballard literally on the water, where to park... they have a huge parking lot, which was easy to find without issues. No need to pay (unheard of in Seattle) no sticker needed. Next was the low key bar setting, not fancy at all, just a simple bar upstairs to take in the view of Puget Sound. My Dad signed in at the bar, we were overly greeted, bartender told everyone that "he's from So Cal" Got some drinks, second round was on the house. Nicest people around, never once did we feel unwelcome. They had a pool table, suffleboard, sunglasses to borrow to go on the patio, and I think some board games. Now to the most delicious breakfast sandwich, the Elk Muffin. GET IT! Fresh English muffin with lots of meat, double layer of ham and slices of bacon with a running egg and cheese. So amazing, I'm bummed I can't go back for years or until I'm a guest again.

I attended here as a guest of a member. There were a couple of things going on - a dance in one hall and the football game at the bar. It is a very nice venue and has a stunning location. The service was a bit slow, but it was likely due to being busy from the game. Also, they had run out of peanuts.
