Been here twice as of the writing of this review. Both times, the coffee was very good. I prefer cold brew, and so few places accommodate my request for cream and simple syrup. Regular sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold drinks, so I appreciate the small consideration. The people working here are among the most courteous I've encountered at Ballard coffee shops, which says a lot since I've yet to be disappointed. I was setting up at a small table in a corner within easy walking distance of the pick up station, but since it was relatively slow the young woman who took my order brought my drink to me. Another small gesture, but it's still an above and beyond effort. The space is cozy with plenty of tables and chairs. A small backroom has a comfy couch and more chairs for small groups to hang out. Add in the fact that the prices are reasonable, I can't give this place anything less than 5 stars. I have a feeling there will be many return visits in the future.

It's always exciting to try new places even though you lived in the area for years, case in point .. I actually thought this place was a firehouse theme, but it has a more wood coffee house theme with its bookcase and very nice wood tables, I got an ice americano and a mocha and a chocolate crossiant drinks were great the crossiant lack the chocolate it was barely any chocolate, I try to go back on Sunday and it's closed . It's very funny I thought since Sunday was usually the day people get coffee and relax and grab a bite, what a bumper ,btw very nice people, so if you like a deep flavor blend not dark color fluid, then give it a try

This cute little cafe on the outskirts of downtown Ballard is a great option. I enjoyed a cold brew, and it wasn't too busy when I was there. They offer a nice selection of sandwiches, including plenty of vegetarian options, along with plant-based milks and a few pastries. I appreciated the calm, quiet music they were playing, and it was nice that they had a small bookshelf for customers to browse. Prices seemed average for the Seattle area, and they even have a convenient drive-up window.

This is a nice, quiet coffee shop. The atmosphere is calming and great location to read a few chapters of your favorite book, or meet a friend for lunch. If you have plans to head to golden gardens or the Ballard locks, this would be a nice stop on your way. Again, the cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious!

Best panini ever! Sun dried tomato with turkey, bacon & spinach panini was delicious, and came with chips. Pistachio mocha was delish, cinnamon roll & Parmesan bagel with cream cheese sooo good. Friendly service and comfortable atmosphere.

You can tell the owners/operators take pride in this coffee shop. Coffee is always good, I love the pistachio mocha, and the food is always good too! There is always a nice young girl working there who is very pleasant. This place just has a good vibe.

I used to love this place. As a nanny who has the important job of helping raise little people, it was nice to be able to go to a kid friendly coffee house and get some caffeine, interact with other adults and let the kids socialize in a dedicated space with a door that closed to keep sound out and kids in. But now they are saying they have hid the toys and will only take them out on weekends when PARENTS bring in their children. I could understand if they were thinking of revamping the space or changing the use of the back room. But to actually say they hid the toys and wait to see if a nanny would then stop ordering and leave? That's not going to fly. It's a shame because the business that will be lost from the nanny community because of this won't be good. For years, nannies and other childcare providers have visited this shop to support the business, indulge in some great food and coffee and let a few of their kids hang out. Not anymore.

Great coffee and very cool owners. Will definitely lock this place in as our go to coffee place in Ballard. Easy parking and comfortable ambiance. Wish we discovered it sooner!

This might actually be my favorite coffee I've had in a really long time. Got a simple iced latte and it was perfectly balanced and delicious. Also got a turkey pesto sandwich was SO GOOD. Fantastic and kind service too. Will be back!!!!
