My wife and I were visiting from out of state, and one thing we enjoy doing is checking out local spots that we don't have back home. So we decided to stop by Blazing Bagels and were greeted by a taller gentleman who helped answer our questions about the menu, and gave us a bit of history about the place. He mentioned that the building used to be a gas station and even shared a few details about the neighboring businesses. We placed our order, and while there was a small mix-up with one of the bagels, the staff quickly made it right when I brought it back in. The bagels were fresh and delicious, the service was friendly, and aside from that little hiccup, everything about the visit was spot-on. It was exactly what we needed to fuel up before driving to tackle Mount Rainier.

This is a solid bagel stop if you're wanting to pick up a baker's dozen for the office. They have a large variety to choose from. I'm a fan of the cheese bagels toasted with the garlic herb cream cheese. Not sure how many tubs of cream cheese to get for a baker's dozen? Play it safe and get at least 3. Service is friendly and prompt. They have indoor seating and it looks like they've expanded their space since the last time I was there. Located in SoDo, there are a few parking spots available out front, as well as street parking.

Blazing Bagels , fuhgeddaboudit Joey! Come on this joint is spectacular in terms of how to get a bagel... You can buy a bag, have mixed options and if your just plain hungry have one toasted up and fixed how ya want it. I'm partial to the sesame seed bagels myself but that's my business! For me folks it's always the same. A bag to go and a before I hit the road a toasted sesame seed treat with butter for consumption ! Don't argue with me that's my routine and I'm sticking with it. Also one last thing, the team of ladies & gents who work at Blazing Bagels are amazing. Always a smile on the face no matter how long the line is out the door. Maybe it's the decor that brighten their day. But it's appreciated !

Amazing bagels! Some if the best in the PNW forsure. I love the Chevy; cheddar cheese on an everything bagel? Heck yes! Can't go wrong with any of the sandwich options. Will go again next time we're in Seattle. Thank you!

I'm scratching my head and wondering why anyone would give this place a bad review. I'm originally from LA and I've eaten bagels in both LA and NYC and feel like I know what a great bagel should taste like. I thought this place was fantastic! My family and I liked it so much, we ate here for breakfast two days in a row. I had the Zoe Zuckerman (Lox) sandwich on my first visit and the egg and bacon sandwich on my second, both were excellent. My family members all got different kinds of bagels, and they loved them. If you like a great bagel made fresh with quality ingredients, you should give this place a try. The staff was friendly, and the location was clean.

This is a solid Seattle bagel spot. I like the freshness, chewiness, and consistency of the bagels. The cream cheese is delicious and i think their pizza and cheese flavored offerings are a winner. For Seattle, this is locally good. I think it's hard to judge a bagel spot nationally, as each region or city will have its own style. I'm giving blazing bagels 4 stars. My only critique, which is very very minor is that the bagels don't seem to hold up next day. This is my personal preference and I've had some east coast bagels that taste delicious toasted two days later. This is my preference and I am like this with bread thst is freshly baked and stays good the next day like Seawolf. Service is always fine, I think it depends on who you get. It's not like a chain like Panera where customer service is consistent. Ambiance is always fun and very Seattle. I've been coming to Blazing bagels for years and hadn't had a chance to put in a review. Great job!

Everything is delicious. The everything, Asiago, (takeaway cinnamon and chocolate chip for the kids) were all great. Service was very kind and patient. Be careful**** the SECOND you step out of your car and go inside, you will get a parking ticket. The spots are marked for "payment," but there are so many events on 1st Ave - it doesn't say "for all businesses." Really frustrating.

Missed breakfast and was looking for something close to work when I remembered coworkers mentioned Blazing Bagels. Got the Girls on the Run promo sandwich and devoured it! The pretzel bagel I selected wasn't too dense or heavy. Was soft and flavorful. Got the French toast and cinnamon bagels for the next morning and they were equally delicious. They have a decent amount of seating. Nice large menu and lots of bagels to choose from throughout the day. Cashier was friendly and welcoming.
