I recently had my first seafood boil ever. If it's your first time, here are the things you should know. 1) be careful not to harm others with seafood juices 2) boiling food comes in a bag? is that ok? I guess every once in a while I'll spoil myself with some good plastic 3) the seafood itself tastes like whatever sauce you get, so make sure that works out for you. I find it very impressive that they have a sauce so potent that it penetrates natures armor 4) you will have a rip-roarin' good time. there is also ample PPE so that you do not harm yourself 5) get that bread to dip in the excess sauce. It's such a wonderful bite. Pro tip: get a straw to drink your beer with so that you don't have to touch the glass itself. This will make for a much more seamless experience. Crawfish Chef is so much fun. We were the only people there during our two hour crackin' experience, I hope that you all have more customers (maybe this review will help, but I fear that I don't have that much sway with market dynamics). An electric event for if you have friends in town, or if you just want an interactive experience. It's always nice when you trap your finest confidants into a meal where they can't leave until the gloves come off.

Solid seafood boil! We went with their combo #5 which includes snow crab, mussels, shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, and corn. We added some boiled eggs to that and asked for their house sauce at medium heat--it was pretty damn good! Instead of an appy, we went with some catfish + sweet potato fries and those were ok, as well. All that + 7 cocktails + a 20% tip = ~$280 split between three people and for the most part we all left full!

Came here for a date night and it was pretty empty. I will say that the seating is pretty nice with plenty of TVs around to see a game or 2. Bar looked pretty stacked, but no drinks for us. Place was clean and didn't feel sticky or stinky. Service was great and I love how they dropped off samples of their seasonings. I ordered the pound of crawfish in cajun and Wifey got the pound of shrimp in the garlic butter. It was nice for the server to inform us of the seasons for certain selections and whether they were fresh or shipped in. The one downfall was how it seemed that the food wasn't boiled in the sauce. Most other places I would find felt like their season was all up in the food. This one felt like the season was added in after cooking and tossed around. If you add in the extras...I feel this is where they shine. Got a whole sausage link and not cut up. That felt like they were showing the value here. It was a pretty good sausage too. What really threw me off was when you can add in noodles! What that what? I had to get that just to try it out. Not bad. I'm not really gonna go over the cost because its all by market price and I still haven't met anyone who keeps up with those things. Stock market yeah...but not seafood prices. Not writing off the place completely...but its a maybe if we're in the area and our friends wanna go.

HANDS DOWN the best seafood boil I've had -- maybe even the best in Seattle. Easily one of my top meals of 2025! This spot nails it all: balance, freshness, bold seasoning, and generous portions. They brought out a variety of sauces for us to sample, and honestly, we loved them all. But the House Sauce stole the show. I'm warning you now -- it's addicting. Packed with real chopped garlic, butter, and the perfect blend of spices, it's easily the best boil sauce I've ever had. I was dipping everything in it. Not only was the sauce incredible, but they were generous with it -- enough to soak every bite, dip sides, and still have leftovers drenched in that buttery, garlicky goodness. We went with Level 3 spice, and it was spot on -- just the right amount of kick, while still letting the natural sweetness of the seafood shine. The sauce clung perfectly without overpowering. We got the Combo #4 - 3 Lobster Tails, 1 lb Shrimp (head-on), 2 Corn, 2 Potatoes + added Dungeness Crab. PERFECTION. And I could come back just for their shrimp fried rice. Service was quick and friendly and love that the space was bright and bright with tall ceiling.

Got the combo number 4 which came with 2 lobster tails, potatoes, and shrimp with their house sauce. I really liked that they brought samples of their top 4 sauces without me asking them to figure out what sauce I wanted. I got the house sauce with medium spicy. Got it with a strawberry lemonade. Lots of tables to sit at. I took the leftovers home to reuse to make my own garlic noodles and put more seafood and potatoes in the sauce. I can tell that it's very ghee based because none of the sauce solidified but made for excellent reuse for other dishes.

Probably the best seafood boil I've ever had! First off, they gave us a sauce sampler to try all of the sauces before we decided. I've never seen that before and we chose the garlic lemon pepper, which we've never tried before and really enjoyed. We got the special deal of 4lb (crawfish, mussels, shrimp, king crab, potato, corn, sausage) for $99, plus a fried calamari basket with fries. The seafood was very fresh and flavorful! The place was also spacious and clean. Staff checked in on us often for water refills and a change of gloves when needed. Would definitely return!

Instead of making the trip down to Tukwila or up north toward Lynwood to Pier 88, just along Roosevelt Way, you'll find yourself at Crawfish Chef. My partner and I visited on a random Tuesday evening, around 8:30 PM. Mind you, the establishment closes at 10 PM. It's spacious with many tables and a pretty big bar with a pretty big tv above it haha! Not once did we feel rushed, or pressured to order once we were settled in. Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions, along with a sampler with all of the different labeled sauces. Don't forget about your bib and gloves (that's my favorite part lol)! We decided to go with Combo #4 ($98): -- 1 lb crawfish -- 1 lb shrimp -- 3 lobster tails -- Corn -- Potatoes + a side of white rice. We opted for another lb of crawfish instead of shrimp... just personal preference :) Our seafood boil came out super quickly and was steaming with the aroma of all of that Cajun goodness! There were two other individuals who came in after us, and even then, they weren't pressured to hurry up and order nor were they refused service. Love that! Btw, as far as parking... you could struggle to find street parking, OR you could go to the free retail garage just a few doors down. It even has EV charging stations (not free unfortunately). TLDR; New seafood boil restaurant in North Seattle. Quick and friendly service. Tasty Cajun flavors. Not sponsored.

CRAWFISH CHEF @ NORTH SEATTLE This spot is located in North Seattle, there is no parking lot, however lots of street parking is available and luckily we found one right out front, free for two hours on Sundays. Ambiance of the place was modern new - I really enjoyed how they decorated the bar area. My reservation was made through the phone for 5:00pm - it was so much traffic that my ETA was 5:36pm so I called to change my reservation time and they were super accommodating. We ordered the Seafood Fried Rice & Combo 3, which had a pound of shrimp, pound of snow crab, and two potatoes, and two corn on the cob, as well as their Strawberry Lemonade that included free refills. In preparation, they gave us a plate of their sauces for a "tasting" to see which you'd prefer, the tops flavors were Cajun and House. They also gave us bibs, gloves, and this spicy seasoning with a couple of limes. The food came out steaming hot, it was so delicious. Both the fried rice and seafood was incredible, full of flavor, hot, and fresh. Service was great - our server was kind and checked up on us. I really enjoyed the shrimp, however I noticed there was an excessive amount of shrimp poop on multiple ones where it gave a very bitter taste and odd texture. Overall, i'd definitely come back to this location. It's also a franchise and has one in Bellevue as well! Definitely recommend.

We came to Crawfish Chef hungry! We haven't really ate all day and we brought my mom here to experience something new. It was kind of hard to find parking along the streets, but there is a parking garage for guests. The parking is really tight, just be very careful. The service here is exceptional! Everyone greeted us when we entered into the restaurant and our waitress was very sweet and helpful. For a party of 4, we ordered the combo 8, and instead of the mussels we were able to substitute with another snow crab. The sauce that we had for the seafood boil was the house sauce with spice level at hot, which is 4 stars. Unfortunately this did not come out spicy/hot. We also ordered the garlic shrimp noodles, too. The noodles were overcooked and I think if this dish had more salt. It would've been able to enjoy it more. Also for my drink, I had to try their cocktail! I ordered the lemon drop/strawberry. That was pretty refreshing on a warm day and I tried took a sip of the mojito, too. Nice, chill and refreshing! As for the ambience, it is a nice spot and lots of room. Large windows with lots of natural light coming in.
