Min man och jag bodde på Hotel Vintage i centrala Seattle och var på väg ut för ett snabbt stopp i för soppa någonstans innan du beger dig ut för ett basketspel. YMCA ligger intill hotellet och vi märkte en skylt utanför pekar på en deli inuti Y. eftersom vi var i all hast, vi bestämde oss för att släppa in och se vad det handlade om. Det är ett litet café som serverar ett brett utbud av mat och soppan var på menyn. Vi beställde en skål med kyckling nudlar och en annan skål med seafood chowder. Till vår förvåning, de var båda ganska bra och rejäl. Soppan serverades på en bricka i plast skål, men det saknade i presentationen det vägde upp för i smak! Ägaren var mycket söt och vänlig och ett rent nöje att vara där. Inredningen är street chic, vilket innebär att du är fri att klottra på väggarna efter att ha en måltid. Ett härligt sätt att avsluta en måltid i en mycket eklektiska plats. Priserna är mycket rimliga.

Vi bodde på Vintage och min man gick ut för att leta efter en snabb matbit när vi checkade in. Han ringde mig och bad att jag kommer till denna plats och ta något att äta. Jag gick in och nästan kvar. Det här är verkligen ett hål i väggen. Jag kunde inte tro vi faktiskt att beställa från här. Min man beställde en ris skål med kimchee och mina barn och jag hade alla smörgåsar. Jag blev förvånad över att allt var från början! Ingen deli kött, ingen mikrovågsugn. Paret som äger det är sååå söt. De var mycket trevliga och såg till att vi hade allt vi behövde för vår ta ut. När vi kom tillbaka till äta jag fortfarande var förvänta dig inte mycket, men wow. Min man kunde inte säga nog om hans kimchee och ris skål, min äldsta son älskade hans enorma pastrami smörgås och min yngsta och jag hade vegetarianer och ägg ... Grönsakerna smakade var grillad när vi beställer för inte bara gripit från några kylskåp och uppvärmd. Vi gillade det så mycket att vi gripit frukost smörgåsar nästa dag! Så titta förbi den udda entré och invändigt. Det är verkligen värt det.
