DOG PARK WITH FOOD AND DRINK! This is an indoor/outdoor dog park with a small bar and some food for humans. They have hot dogs (of course) flatbread pizza and a couple of other things. There is also beer and wine and some hard cider in cans. No draft beer. Alex, is the person that runs the place and she is friendly and helpful. Her duties apparently also include breaking up the occasional dog brawl. My Cavalier Spaniel seemed to have a good time running and playing with other dogs. There is both a large dog area and a small dog area. Small dogs are free to play with the big boys but only small dogs are allowed in the small dog area, which also has an indoor and outdoor play area. I had a beer and a hot dog and enjoyed watching Boomer run and play. This place is a little far for me but I was really curious about it and I'm glad I came out. Oh, if you want to bro g your dog here, make sure you have their vaccination records which are required before your dog can socialize. That's it! Woof!

We have had a membership for years and appreciate the community being cultivated for dogs and their owners. We have tried a couple other dog park bars in the city and our dog hasn't loved them as much as Dogwood. It's been awesome to watch this business grow over the years and see the improvements being made to the space. The owners and staff are lovely people!

I've been taking my dog here since late summer 2024 and it just feels a lot like our second home now. Not only do we come to the play park during our free time but we also take him to Day Stay (which he LOVES!). My dog knows what time they open in the afternoons and will stalk me until I pack him up and take him there- this should really be the biggest compliment of all. It's easy to see that all the staff LOVES dogs! They're all so friendly, welcoming and nice to everyone (and pup) who comes in. They know all the dogs and their behaviors and how to manage them if anyone gets a little too out of hand. The staff are always available and present making frequent rounds to observe the play yards (there's one for big and one for small/shy). There are also materials provided to clean up after your dog- poop bags, paper towels, cleaning materials- It's all a huge help. One of the many benefits of dogwood is that you know all the dogs are vaccinated. This is just such an easy thing to take off your mind vs a dog park. The facility is also indoor/outdoor which makes the Seattle winters so much easier to deal with- no more walking the dog in the rain, just take him to dogwood. Regarding Day Stay- what a difference a facility makes! I had taken my guy to a few other daycares and it just didn't feel right- we were never really updated on his day and had to pay to get picture updates. Dogwood is complete opposite- not only is he absolutely exhausted when he leaves for the day, he gets to hang out with his best friends (human and canine), the staff take hundreds of pictures of them playing in the morning and then post to facebook in the afternoon. I love that we get "proof of life" with Dogwood, that was a service that was charged at another facility. When we pick him up, the staff tells us about his day and who he played with and if he had any issues. I feel so much better knowing my guy is being taken care of by people who treat him like they would their own while I'm at work. Overall, I'm so glad we have dogwood in the area to help socialize and tire out our energetic little guy. Can't recommend them enough!

First time here over the weekend. The instructions posted on their website is helpful. Prior to our visit, I sent in my pup's vaccination records. Next day upon arrival, checked in was smooth and onto play time for the pup. Space is easy to locate, there is street parking right in front of it. The space is large and clean. So clean and it didn't even smell like wet dog! Wow. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase. Lots of sitting spots for owners. Will be back. Thanks for creating this space!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It has been the best thing for our sweet dog, Piper! We've been to a few dog parks/bars and none compare to this one. It is by far the biggest- indoor and outdoor. Has a great drink selection and lots of friendly dogs. Everyone who works there is so friendly and truly care about the dogs and the environment. The price is so reasonable and such an amazing place for getting your dog to get that energy out and get socialized. Hands down the BEST place for dogs in Seattle and other surrounding areas. It's always got a good amount of dogs too so your dog will always have plenty of other dogs to play with. There are also lots of dogs who just like to play with themselves and it works best for both. Love the gentle side too incase your dog is a bit more on the shy side. Cutest ambiance too 10 out of 5 stars all the way!!!

I came for the first time for a birthday party. My dog liked it so much that the next day my partner and I came with him and signed up for a membership! Here's the thing - I don't like dog parks in general. I think they are a hotbed of bad behavior (human and dog) and pretty risky all around. Dogwood is different. The rules are enforced - (look at the other ratings, the negative ones are from ages ago. Maybe they improved?) - there are staff and "regulars" all over the place, keeping eyes on behavior and monitoring sizes, barking, play, etc. They require spay/neuter, which automatically helps keep things calmer. Being able to grab a cider and a snack and watch my pup play is SO cool! The people (guests and staff) were friendly, and more importantly, so were the dogs! Max made some great friends, and his energy was appreciated and not scolded! (He's not quite two. He's energetic, but not aggressive or reactive.) They request that people not bring treats or personal toys into the play area, and this really does cut down on resource guarding and similar behavior. They told me they wash/sterilize the balls every night, and that made me feel good. This is Max's new favorite place!! My partner and I plan on at least once/week outings here!!!!

I come from a pretty extensive canine educational background studying canine behavior, nutrition and training for the last 12 years... and over the years I've completely shunned off leash dog parks, daycares or any uncontrollable environment for my dog to socialize in. But I have to tip my hat to this place. I got a golden retriever back in October and after lots of training, I felt he and I both were ready to experience the off leash play environment with dogs he had never met... And I wouldn't have done that anywhere except at DogWood. Lots of places like this advertise that their staff help manage the dogs and keep owners accountable but Dogwood is the only place I've seen that ACTUALLY does that. And I've been to maybe 3 or 4 other similar dog bar type places. My last dog was a pit/lab mix and he did really well at Dogwood as well. What makes these types of places work is the staff and I'm really happy to see that over the years that have kept that expectation of accountability. I plan to bring my dog back and even hopefully have his 1st birthday party here as well in their super cool indoor and outdoor rental space. Side notes: -LOVE the extra turf they have put out all over the outside yard. -Love the extra grip pads they put in the inside. -And for anyone who's complaining that they get talked to because their dog barks too much... they are right too. Excessive barking can lead to problems in many social situations and it's just rude behavior. So is mounting/humping, hyper fixation/prey drive... Just saying. Don't get mad at the staff because your dog had rude behavior and they are keeping you accountable. Only downfall... I wish I lived closer :)

Not the best place for small dogs. They don't actually enforce the separation for small dog section at all. I would love it here if they actually had a small dog section with a weight limit. It's clean. Huge space. Good beer abs snacks, but My 7lbs dog got rolled and bitten by a large dog the first time I was here and staff acted like it was no big deal. I tried again a month later, and they kept letting large dogs that were off leash, including put bulls and German Shephard's walk through the small dog section on their way to somewhere. More than once a large dog ran at my dog aggressively. I picked her up each time. She was scared and stressed and so was I. Asked staff about it and they acted like I was being absurd for not wanting my tiny havanese to rumble with a pit bull. guess I won't be coming back. It's too bad. It was a nice idea.
