Great cocktails, if your there for the awesome views go early and get a table before sunset. Good for a date spot or with a crowd.

I will absolutely be coming back here! Initially walking in, my first thoughts were how breathtaking the restaurants ambiance and view was. The food came out so fast and it was absolutely delicious. I am a huge seafood boil lover and I often can get disappointed when the food is either overcooked or just not the best quality and this place left NO room for disappointment. Every single piece of food in the boil was perfectly seasoned and cooked, not only that, the size of the shrimp and crawfish was more than ample and made the peeling process much more enjoyable when you actually get some good meat out of it. The wait staff and owner were extremely helpful and kind and provided us with amazing service. I don't usually leave reviews but this place is so good I didn't want to leave lol will be coming back again very soon!

I'm not a frequent reviewer but have to say something about this place. I am so happily surprised at how great this new restaurant is! Has a menu that will strike you as odd at first, because half of it is like Din Tau Fung, and the other half is like a Carolina/New Orleans seafood boil. But it somehow really works. Most importantly, the food is outstanding, everything we had was delicious, from the soup dumplings and clam chowder we had for starter, to the massive (and reasonably priced) seafood boil spread that followed... perfectly cooked shrimp, crab, lobster, potatoes, corn, sausage, and handmade noodles. My husband and I were born and raised in the South and have a high bar for a seafood boil. Get the 'house' seasoning for the boil, it's like butter with a kick. The server surprised us with complimentary dessert for my husband's birthday, and even that was quite good! And they have a roaming robot server, which is unnecessary but amusing, especially when it sang 'happy birthday' table side. The (non-robot) service was friendly and went above and beyond- setting up a table by the window for us when there wasn't one available at first, patiently teaching my daughter how to eat a lobster, and making deliberate effort to be attentive and engaged with all patrons even though it was apparent they were slightly understaffed for the number of tables. Lastly, if you're not already familiar with this waterfront setting, it's a quintessential PNW vista, not to be missed. Nice to have a new restaurant here with food and service as good as its view!

Visited Happy Crab for the second time recently during the ALCS and sat in the bar to watch the Mariners almost beat the Jays. The bar area is small, there are only a few tables, but the view across the water to Magnolia is spectacular on a dark, wet, and rainy night. We ordered off the happy hour menu and had a number of appetizers including pot stickers, dumplings, and mussels. Overall, the flavors were fabulous. If I was being incredibly picky, I would like the dumplings to have a bit more soup in them (After all, that's what makes dumplings sooooo tasty.) I washed it all down with a big beer, a really big beer. Their small beer is a regular 16oz pint. The "big" beer is served in an Oktoberfest liter mug ... just keep this in mind when you order. The bar wrangler, JR, provided awesome service. I officially love this place and, if I'm being totally honest, I like it better than Ray's. That's saying something.

I really wanted to love this spot....the name and location set high expectations. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, but overall, the experience just missed the mark a bit. The service was friendly but not quite as attentive as I'd hoped, especially given how busy it wasn't at the time. The place was almost empty but somehow I waited for my server for a while, which didn't allow the full vibe of the experience flow. The ambiance is relaxed and casual, which works if you're just looking for a quick seafood fix, but it didn't have that "wow" factor I was hoping for. That said, the potential is definitely there.

Beautiful location, great view of the water, and they have a massive parking lot! They had their patio door opened so there were quite a bit of flies buzzing around. Service was a hit and miss, the servers are very nice, but kind of slow and sometimes very attentive and sometimes not. We waited a bit to get seated and it wasn't even busy at all. It took about 25 mins to get our food. Food, it's pricey. Their dumplings were cold and didn't taste fresh. It was actually a bit dry. The seafood boil, it was also cold, and it's a seafood "boil," so it didn't live up to its name. And it taking 25 mins to get our order, I was hoping it was going to be hot for waiting that long. The boil itself came with a variety of seafood which was great, and there were some highlights. We liked the mussels, potatoes, corn, and shrimp. The crab legs and crawfish didn't feel the flavor penetrated into them.

Lunch at Happy Crab View is 5 stars. We wanted to watch a FB game as they had 6 TVs in one spot. Server said no problem and completely forgot. It wasn't busy but oh well. The seafood boil was ok; price was reasonable. Forgot to take a picture of the $18 jambalaya- this one is definitely not worth the price.

The view is absolutely spectacular. And whether you dine inside by a window or whether you dine on the patio outside, you're gonna have a great view of the Shilshole Bay waterfront. This place definitely has potential They just opened up recently so I'm sure they are still working out a lot of the kinks. They now have the full menu both daytime and evening, which is great. we tried three different menu items and shared them, I'd say the food is so so. it's got some zest and taste OK but is incredibly greasy and loaded with oil. I'm hoping that is just because the cooks are new and things are still getting worked out on recipes and learning to make them. Service was wonderful, especially the robot server who came out and joined one of the servers bringing some of our dishes out I definitely prefer humans over robots, but it was fun amusement to at least have the robot come and join the human servers and help out. I forgot to take a pictures of the bar, but the bar also looked really nice although it looks like at this point, they mainly have vodka & rum.

Happy Crab! This place is another hidden new gem In the Seattle area! We saw this place on social media and had to check it out. First off, the decor of this place is amazing. Loved the quote on the wall and the esthetics of the restaurant. Second, they had so much to offer on the menu. The prices are very reasonable as well. We each ordered the boil. I got the lobster only and it was 19 dollars for just the tail. We older orders fried rice which was amazing, some dim sum, string beans, and the mala noodles. I'm not a big fan of the mala taste but my group loved it. Also, when you pick the sauce for the boil you can choose mala as well, but if you prefer not the mala taste you can do the Cajun butter and it was delicious. My only down fall of this restaurant would be the when you get the boil there is not that much sauce. I loved a saucy saucy boil to soak up all the meat. Another thing, a lot of entrees come out on a robot so I don't know if the robot is slow but some of the food was warm but not too hot. This place is new and I know has some work to do but overall it's one of our top new boil places.

View is amazing! Parking is spacious. They have robots carrying the food to the table. The hand pulled noodles were very good. The service was ok and waiters were pretty attentive. They did forget the salt and pepper when we asked for them. Never did get them at the end of the meal. That's all the good things....now to the seafood boil. We got the most expensive boil with the mala mix and it included snow crab, Dungeness crab, crawfish, mussels, shrimp, sausage, potatos, and corn. The presentation was great however the food was COLD and all the sauce was on the bottom!! The flavor didn't penetrate the meat at all. It was obviously not fresh and the meat was dry including being cold. We also ordered 3 bowls of clam chowder and 2 of them were just barely warm and the 3rd one had to be sent back as it was cold. The crab cakes were so gross I couldn't even eat them. I was also super disappointed as well that this restaurant had flys buzzing around our heads -- we were inside and it was air conditioned what's up with flys on a rainy fall evening???
