Stumbled into King Leroy while on a solo day running errands. Sat at the bar which was extremely comfortable and inviting with comfortable chairs. The bartender was super friendly and served up a great dirty martini! Ordered the Jalapeno cheddar Hush Puppies- which if I being honest I found salty and a bit undercooked. Definitely not a bad experience overall however, would definitely return!

Incredibly overpriced, even for SLU. The menu lists one price for an Old Fashioned, but the bill comes out much higher -- makes you wonder if you're still getting a well drink at that inflated price. The $24 nachos tasted like they came straight out of a bag, topped with half-cooked chicken squares. Never again. You'd honestly be better off grabbing a rideshare to Belltown, where there are plenty of bars that actually deliver quality for the price. This place clearly banks on corporate customers who won't notice or question the bill.

We had a group gathering at King Leroy since it is very close to Amazon It is actually located right next to the Amazon Spheres in downtown Seattle. Frankly speaking, it is really not an ideal place for a big group because there isn't a separate area for large parties. The layout is a bit odd too as it seems to share space with a burger shop. And that makes the atmosphere a little confusing. When it comes to food, the menu does not offer much variety. Most of the dishes taste like typical American bar food that's been prepped and reheated. Nothing stood out, and I probably would not come here just for the food unless it is convenient for meeting Amazonians since it is on the first floor of one of their buildings. The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks. Their house cocktails were excellent. I tried the Hibiscus Paloma, which was really good, but the standout was the Lavender French. I know lavender drinks are popular these days, but this one was VERY AMAZING. I'd actually come back to King Leroy just for that cocktail.

Giving this place one star seems too generous. On a visit to Seattle we wandered into this place in the hopes of getting some food and drink. Sure, we found seats at the bar, but after that we were completely ignored by the TWO people behind the bar (while others were getting served without issue). We eventually got our first drink, and then were once again ignored while everyone else was getting refills and food. At one point one of the staff spent a ridiculously long time replacing the letters on the tap list board instead of possibly checking to see if ANYONE (we were literally directly behind him) needed any drinks/food. The service quality was non-existent, and the overall attitude seemed to scream pretentious unless you were a regular. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! There are SO many other genuinely friendly and welcoming establishments in Seattle there is really no reason to go here imo.

Right in the heart of Amazon SLU, King Leroy has a trying to dive bar feel to it, except it's clean, has huge natural light windows and some interesting cocktails. Didn't try any of the food here but it looked good. Bar service is quick and attentive. One tip: it may look big but the acoustics of this place is loud, so keep that in mind.

Solid bar, with fun beers on tap and average food. Lighting is good and chairs are cushy. We sat at the bar and engaged with other patrons and the bar staff - great conversations all around. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich was okay, but not really worth $22. Ditto for ehe Seattle dog at $17 (a premier for me). The side of tots were also average. We each asked for a side of ranch dressing only to discover an additional charge of $2 (a buck each) when paying the bill. That's a little steep... Beer, though, was super. I prefer wine to beer, but every once in a while, the urge grabs me. Or it just matches the food better. How could I resist something called Kitten Mittens?! The bartender allowed us to try a taste before committing to a pint. Rich, creamy, malty - similar to a Guinness but slightly less bitter. Worthy of a second round (which we did). Sorry, no pictures. We were too busy chatting and enjoying our beverages. Solid visit for just that purpose.

We came to King Leroy for happy hour which ends at 6p. The wings are really good. I got my wings with the buffalo sauce and it was great. It's only 6 swings, so we also got the tater tots. The tots are decent, but not super filling - probably wouldn't order them again with just two people, but would be good to get for the table with a lot of people. Great value especially at happy hour. Quick and easy, order at the bar and they bring food to you.

True what they say, service isn't particularly friendly unless they know you. But otherwise, a chill spot to post up for a beer or some bar food in an otherwise very tech overrun area. You can order a burger from next door and bring it over. A+ Seattle decor.
