I love this location and the cap hill one. The burgers are a perfect size. I'm personally not a huge fan of huge gigantic burger patties and find it hard to eat because the toppings and flavors on the burger may be competing with one another. Having tried a lot of burgers in Seattle from Dicks, Red Mill, Lunch Lab, Uneeda, McCormicks and Shmicks, Smash burger and rain city to name a few. The size and care for the patty on the grill is key. This is what Lil Woody's does best. Unlike 5 Guys, in which the patty is slightly bigger I often just taste salt. Lil Woody's is like a burger that is perfectly curated. I would compare it to Shake Shack. For me, every bite is a lovely harmony of flavors and the made to order burgers are piping hot. The fries are fine and don't stand out as much as the salmon and bacon burgers but when I'm craving red meat I come here. Ambiance is minimalist northwest and I love being able to get a cupcake when in Ballard or go to Ballard coffee, or walk up the hill and thrift and hit up local shops by Glasswing. Service is always great. Super chill folx passionate about their burgers. You can feel their passion and care. Lastly, Lil Woody's does a ton of burger donations and they donated to a non profit I know and respect. This is really dope to hear knowing their commitment to helping others. Great work.

We go for the specials. We love the rotation of burgers and the collaboration with local chefs. Recent visits have included Seafood month and Free Burgers on Labor Day. Hubby and I are always debating if we should get either a side of fries or for $2 more get the basket of fries. Daughter likes the Trotter and any leftover fries. Be sure to get the fry sauce! We prefer this location, less traffic than Ballard and Capitol Hill and better chance at finding parking. Service is consistently friendly and prompt. Lil Woody's continues to make things interesting, which has us coming back.

Been to the Lil' Woody's in Ballard a few times and enjoyed it well enough to endorse the latest addition to their chain. After helping my buddy move, food was in order, of the burger variety. I went with "build your own" which is akin to Five Guys. Sure, you can get one of the premade options such as the "Big" or "Little" Woody, but there are plentiful options to make and awesome custom burger, just be mindful as unlike Five Guys, each topping is $1. My personal fav being patty, with cheese, caramelized onion, peppers, lettuce, tomato (if not cut too thick), oh and bacon! Got a lemonade on the side, which is a Lemmy's, slightly carbonated. Split a basket of fries. Fries are very thin and greasy, not the worst, far from the best. One thing is, it adds up quick here - those two burgers, two drinks and a basket of fries was $44.xx! Maybe it was my friends kombucha and my add-ons, but still... So ready to shell out a bit. The burger was good, but if you've read one of my many other burger reviews, a burger pet peeve of mine is when you bite into it and all the contents are sliding all over the place and doesn't hold together well. Lil' Woody's here in T-Town couldn't do it. Maybe in another visit.

Hurray for the new Lil Woody's location in Seattle's Tangletown neighborhood, sharing space with Darkalino's at the corner of N56th St and Kirkwood Pl N. Great addition to this business district along N56th. Work has been grueling and today was no exception (6/28/24). It's 130pm - no coffee, no breakfast, mega traffic, late lunch, and getting hangry upon arrival. I dragged The Homie along too. This will be the true litmus test of whether a food spot will improve the situation. Decent street parking (1-2 hour zoned) and on a Metro bus route. Bonus versus the Ballard or Capitol Hill sites with expensive and hard to find street parking. Nice interior. Few tables and counter seating. The guy at the counter was very upbeat and welcoming as he took our order. Sat at the two top by the window to soak up some warm sunshine. The Homie ordered the Special, Dutch chocolate milkshake, and chipotle mayo sauce. I ordered the Big Woody and a ginger beer. We shared a basket of hand-cut fries. With tax & tip it was under $50. A splurge, but a worthy and closer destination for us northenders. Tasty, satisfying meal especially when showing up with a major appetite. Great eats & bevs, warm sunshine, and decent tunes really soothed this "hangry-I-hate-traffic-Ms Cranky Pants". Greatly improved my disposition. And The Homie left full. The only thing that was odd was the acoustics. There was some manager or staff member having a loud conversation with another couple. I could hear her from the counter area versus The Homie sitting right across from me. Even "better" when they sat right by us, but thankfully we were about to leave. I would knock off a half star for that, but rounded up to a five because the food and service was great.

Honestly, I liked it. The chocolate shake might've been some of the best I've had--I believe they use tillamook ice cream for the shakes. Burgers are pretty fresh and not overly greasy. The buns are on the softer side. I didn't mind, but my partner was not a fan. We ordered takeout on a weekday so the order completed quickly. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was quite empty. Interior seemed clean. Service was good. We popped in and out quickly, so not sure how easy it'd be to find parking nearby.

Lil Woody's is a total gem -- just a nice stroll from Green Lake if you're craving a solid burger. I went with one of their classic burgers and it seriously hit the spot. Toppings are extra, but I definitely wouldn't skip the cheese. I also got a root beer shake which made the burger even better

It's Fast Food Month at Lil Woody's and we're in the final and 4th week which features "Woody's Style" version of the famous double double In 'n Out burger. I gotta say that Woody's Style is just as good! Not to mention, a little saucier and messier. So, make sure to grab extra napkins. I love how generous they are with their yummy fries. I think one order of fries is enough to share between 2-4 people. Last day to try a Woody's Style is December 2nd.

I was in town visiting family in Green Lake/Tangletown. I ended up having a ton of work to do so had to stay in one day while the rest of the family was out exploring around Seattle. I was in the mood for a burger when I took my break and Saw Lil Woody's had good reviews. I ordered online and then walked over to pick up the food. The service was prompt, and my order was waiting when I got there. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. There are a couple tables, but not a huge space. There wasn't much of a crowd, but it was a weekday and I stopped in before noon. It was a pretty good burger and the fries were a great side. I wish I had gotten a milkshake. Overall this is a good, quick burger stop that hit the spot.

My partner and I ordered two burgers, fries, and ranch. After two bites into my burger, I bit down on a dirty metal washer inside my food. Luckily I didn't break my tooth, but it was very dangerous and disgusting. They gave me a refund and offered to remake my food but I was scared for my health and safety after that. I urge others to eat here with caution. About a month prior we went here and I swore I had a pebble in my burger but convinced myself it was a super crispy bit because I had swallowed it before I could remove it. This place needs a health and safety inspection STAT.
