We booked this hotel prior to going on a cruise to Alaska because we saw they had a shuttle to cruise port on embarkation morning. They also had an airport shuttle so we booked that via email a few days before our flight. They needed the flight number and est arrival time so that the driver could monitor our flight for any delays. Shuttle pick up from airport smooth, driver Ashu from car service kept in touch even with a flight delay, 30 min drive from airport. He picked up other passengers for another hotel and dropped them off first then dropped us off at the front door of Mediterranean. Armani was at check in desk at the hotel, super helpful and informative Room clean upon arrival, no view from the room but rooftop garden area open to all guests with terrific views of the city and space needle. Even tho it's on a busy street, it was very quiet in and around the inn at night. Bathroom looks recently renovated and is gorgeous. Water pressure in the shower isn't the strongest but it's also not weak either. Adjusting shower head for height and spray is nice to have available. We stayed two nights and room was cleaned while we were out and about during the day which was nice to come back to. Safe didn't lock so it was pretty useless. Check out was easy, could be done remotely online or at the front desk upon exit. We got two key cards, one of which didn't work which was fine cuz we went everywhere together and only needed one, but we did over hear other guests complaining about the same thing. Starbucks right next door was our go to since they didn't offer a breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants, sights and even a grocery store within walking distance of this hotel, very convenient! Cruise port shuttle, signed up for a departure time at check in. Shuttle leaves every half hour starting at 9. 10 min ride. Pay driver, cash or card. Easy drop off right in front of baggage check in and entrance into port security. Highly recommend this hotel to other cruise goers, and already have since we've been back!

The hotel manager writes a laughably innaccurate accounting of the afternoon in question to save the hotel from embarrassment, with input no doubt from "Cesar" the lone front desk clerk after the rude woman disappeared leaving me to get my bags to the Uber on my own. When I called "Cesar" to beg him to search for my eyeglasses in the storage room after I had almost missed my train (I had removed my eyeglasses in a fluster while trying to get my charging cord due to the abusive treatment of the female staffer), he flatly refused. I called the hotel the next morning where the very helpful Kyle went to the storage room, found the glasses and put them in the mail for me. Fire the girl and Cesar. Promote Kyle. If you insist on false character defamation on an online site, you will be reported to the Better Business Bureau and every other consumer protection agency. P.S. you say I was not charged for storing my luggage. I know of no hotel anywhere in the world even no stars that charge paying guests for luggage storage. O. P.P.S. Because this completely arrogant clueless manager has decided to resort to character assassination rather than do his job and offer an apology, I will include in Yelp what I included in TripAdvisor, namely that the TV worked 25 percent of the time, turning off at least 6 times during my 2 day stay. When it shut off at 3 am I went down to the lobby and the very friendly Ethiopian front desk clerk and I had a fascinating discussion about languages. Do you know that nearly 100 languages are spoken in Ethiopia and more than 8000 languages are spoken in NYC. Anyway I left my card at the front desk Monday morning..the manager never called....I also messaged him about the rude and disrespectful treatment I received when trying to get my bags. Again no response. That is when I posted an online review and he resorter to false character defamation. This is a nice hotel. It deserves better management.

I was a little nervous booking this hotel without knowing the location but as it turns out, it's a really great place to stay. I loved the service I received, the cleanliness, the surrounding safety, and the room. Very, very happy! I will definitely book this hotel the next time I'm in Seattle. Everything is walking distance. No need for a car to go to downtown, Pioneer Square, Pike Market, Space Needle, Olympic Sculpture Park, and many great restaurants. We are on our way to an Alaskan cruise and it's just a 10 minute drive. By the way, this hotel has car service to and from the airport and to the cruise ships ports. Enjoy!

The staff was super friendly and inviting. Our room was clean and smelled nice. The ROOFTOP DECK! Make sure to check it out, it's lovely. Close to awesome food options and downtown happenings, easy spot to grab a Lyft if it's not in walking distance.

I would say for the location being so close to the arena it's a good value for the price and convenience. I flew in for some Lady Gaga concerts and the front desk staff had on Gaga shirts for the concert days which I loved and thought was so thoughtful and human of them. They also were letting people know about bag policies- I just thought they were going the extra mile to be helpful. Their rooftop is amazing and there are so many restaurants on their street you could walk too easily. While I didn't interact with them directly I also appreciated the cleaning stuff - seemed to do a good clean through while I was out, windows and all. They have self serve laundry machines that are open all day long and a nice jug of water with various fruit or cucumbers in the lobby that I used a lot. I wish I had taken pictures! But I was in 404 - the bathroom had an extra vanity zoom in mirror and built in mirror lighting for makeup. You get a sink in your room and basic coffee stuff. A very long desk with a deep space for the chair which was so useful. I appreciated the large size of the desk chair as a plus sized girl. And Uber pickup and drop off are just outside the door. There's also a bus to downtown a block down from hotel that was convenient though I found out later they also have free shuttles to tourist places available

Very convenient option for the one night prior to cruising. My wife couldn't get past those dingy white? hallways though so she said I couldn't give the hotel five stars. Other than that the hotel was very decent as the room was clean & just enough for a one stay. We rarely rode the elevator; it was too slow! I kept getting coffee in the lobby. We checked into our hotel a little early like 1230 which was prior to check in time although we got there at 1130 & stored our luggage there no extra charge. The hotel was reachable via the light rail & monorail & walked from there. Thank goodness it was gorgeous weather. We had convenient & nice foodie restaurant options nearby too! We even walked to a nearby Safeway but just be aware of the rift raft around there. The next day we walked to Space Needle & Chihuly art museum! Also don't forget to walk up to the rooftop! There's nice seating up there for the lovely scenic views! Woohoo! Great place for a drink up there in the afternoon & evening or coffee in the morning! If you need to go to the Smith Cove Pier 91 for cruising they do have shuttles but you should reserve the day before. We did that upon checking into the hotel to play it safe. Plus you must make payment DIRECTLY to the driver. The hotel doesn't receive that charge. We learned that the hard way!!! LOL The hotel was only 20 minutes away from the pier. My silly wife wanted to walk from our hotel to there but I said NO!

4.5/5 This is a great option if you are looking for a hotel near the Seattle Center attractions. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. If you come here before check in and there aren't any rooms available they can hold your luggage for you while you explore the surrounding area. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as a CVS and Safeway near by. When we first walked into our room it smelled freshly cleaned, and I was impressed in particular with the spotless bathroom. The housekeeping staff clearly work hard to create a great environment for guests to stay in. I loved the little touches such as the flower shaped tissue arrangement in the Kleenex box. Next to the elevators they have a table set up with complimentary infused water and coffee, a cool little perk for staying here. Check out the rooftop terrace while you are here too. The views are quite nice. The only negative I can think of is that the elevators are super slow. We ended up taking the stairs a lot of the time even though we were on one of the higher floors. Details: - Shuttle available to the cruise ship piers - Fitness center on site - Garage parking available - Loaner bikes available - Starbucks attached to the hotel - Free wi-fi - Gilchrist and Soames bath and body products

I chose Mediterranean Inn as the hotel is close to the piers where we planned to take a cruise. Getting dropped off at the hotel, I immediately liked the looks of the Mediterranean Inn. The neighborhood is, well, urban grit..but that's ok..after all, this is Seattle not Beverly Hills! The agent at the front desk, Armani, was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We went to our room which was absolutely immaculate! My # 1 criteria for a hotel room is it must be clean & ours certainly was!! The next morning we enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby, plus there's a water beverage kiosk also. The lobby is homey & comfortable. There's a great computer room to use, as well as a computer in the lobby. Don't miss the rooftop..go up & enjoy the views! We checked out at noon but as our flight was much later that night we wanted to explore Pikes Market. Kay, the lovely receptionist at the front desk, stored our luggage. Kay was so helpful in getting us a car service to Seattle Tacoma Airport also. I highly recommend Mediterranean Inn..the positive vibes of the hotel shows in that owner/ company " cares " ! Our stay at this hotel was great. Within walking distance of basically everything there is to see in Seattle. The hotel itself isn't anything super special but it was a comfortable and clean place to rest, which is much more than you can say for most places nowadays!! The hotel staff were all super friendly and made checking in and out simple. 100000% will be staying here again anytime I find myself in Seattle.

Absolutely love this place and would pick this over a traditional Hotel. Staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They always greet us sincerely when we leave or come back for the day. Can't beat the location if you're planning on visiting Climate Pledge and it's maybe a 10 min drive to Pikes Market. Only con is the elevator can be painfully slow because it is an older building so if you're on a low enough floor it may be easier to just take the stairs. I've stayed here twice already and have no plans on staying elsewhere.
