Petit Pierre bakery is a hop, skip, and jump from my front door and while I'm not much of a sweet tooth, this little powerhouse of creative flavor has opened my taste buds to some delectable new treats. There have been a couple misses to be sure, but that has more to do with me than with the dessert. I love how frequently they add new pastries to their standard offerings. My favorite sweet(s): Chocolate chip cookie w/sea salt and chocolate balls. My favorite breakfast sammy: Ham and cheese croissant with avocado (seriously, this sammy is phenomenally tasty). There is almost always a line out the door in the morning, so plan your stop accordingly and #supportlocal.

Petit Pierre Bakery has 2 locations, one in Phinney Ridge and one in Magnolia. I decided to visit their flagship shop in Magnolia. The store is located in the charming area called Magnolia Village. There's available street parking around the neighborhood. The shop does not have indoor seating however they have a few outdoor tables for customers. The sight of their pastry case compelled me to leave my carb and sugar intake restrictions at the door. Their pastries are a work of art. They were neatly arranged, labelled, and stacked. It was a visually stunning display of buttery, sugary, and savory goodness. The croissants had beautiful golden brown flaky layers. There were other baked goods such as danishes, coffee cakes, cinnamon rolls, monkey breads, sandwiches, and other artisan desserts. I ordered a ferrero roche petit supreme, dubai chocolate cruffin, and a four cheese & proscuitto croissant. The four cheese & proscuitto croissant was the right amount of savory and topped with greens and cherry tomatoes. The croissant had delicate layers of buttery pastry dough. The dubai chocolate cruffin was a decadent experience. The croissant was dough baked in a muffin tin and filled with a sweet mixture of pistachio and chocolate cream. The ferrero roche petit supreme was my favorite. The pastry was filled with hazelnut cremeux, dipped in chocolate crunch glaze, and topped with a half ferroro roche chocolate. Absolutely indulgent! Service was fast and friendly. The staff moved quickly and ensured our orders were packed and rung up. I would absolutely go through Seattle traffic again just to experience their other pastries and sandwiches.

Whenever we're at the Magnolia Farmers Market, we have to stop by Petit -- their ham and cheese croissants are genuinely delicious: buttery, flaky, and perfectly savory. We've also had the chocolate and almond croissants, which are pretty good too -- not mind-blowing, but a nice sweet treat. The caprese sandwiches are fine -- fresh enough, but not nearly as special as the pastries. Definitely stick to the croissants -- they're the real reason to make a stop!

this is my new favorite bakery in seattle. In particular the cardamon honey role was phenomenal. it was caramelized on the edges with honey and the aftertaste was the perfect amount of spice. The dough itself was soft and spongy as well. All the pastries looked phenomenal but im glad we got that one. The coffee was pretty great as well. Not only that but I brought my own mug and they were able to fill it and even give a discount for bringing it. they were super friendly and fast. Being right in front of the farmers market was the perfect spot to grab a bite while you walk around.

2.5 I think quality would be different had these been consumed immediately and not within a few hours. Tried a variety of things and they weren't bad but they didn't blow me away. The best pastry was the croissant supreme- held up well, super crispy croissant and amazing fresh blueberry jam. Dubai cruffin was lackluster, almond croissant was dry and lacked filling, strawberry custard wasn't too sweet and the little cake was crumbly. I liked that all the pastries were too sweet.

I've visited the Petit Pierre on Phinney Ridge multiple times, but never this one in Magnolia until recently. This one's a much smaller bakery that's takeout only, with no seating inside and what seems to be a smaller selection of treats. There are some tables and benches outside for people who prefer to eat their pastries on the spot. We originally visited to pick up a TGTG bag but after stopping in and seeing all the delicious pastries in the window, we also decided to purchase one additional freshly baked pastry that looked too good to pass up. Pistachio Cassis Brioche ($6.75) - Great flakiness and lamination, filled with pistachio paste and black current curd, then dipped in chocolate and topped with crushed pistachio. It's sweet from all the sugar, tangy from the jam, and nutty from the pistachio, and yet some of the rich buttery notes from the dough still comes through. They call this a brioche, so it's probably brioche dough laminated with additional butter. Other than being a little darker in color, I can't really tell any difference between this and normal laminated croissant dough. Perhaps really the only way to tell is to have a plain pastry of each side by side - the addition of fillings and toppings really diminishes the difference in my opinion. (5/5) As with Phinney Ridge, the pastries the Magnolia location serves are excellent. This is a must visit any time I'm in the area. Bathrooms: No available bathrooms from what I can tell.

I was in the area running an errand and decided to pop into this bakery for funzies. Its been on my list for quite some time and boy am I glad I finally checked the place out. Very decadent pastries with a lot of flavor. Ranges of richness to their baked goods. I tried their Pistachio Dubai chocolate rolled croissant, their pistachio chocolate standard croissant, 2 kouign Amann, and lemon berry Danish. All very delightful except their kouign Amann. The ones I had were extremely salty. Not sure if it was intended to be that way considering I had two. Probably won't risk a third attempt. That's just me though. My favorite item was their pistachio Dubai chocolate rolled croissant. Wasn't too monotonous, but again I had coffee which was acting as a palate cleanser. I'm hoping to try their bread pudding the next time since I love bread pudding. Another thing to note. The items are pricey, so I'll use it as an excuse to treat myself to something good every once in awhile if I'm in the area. Not an everyday affair for me.

Really great pastries! A cute setup inside with all the pastries lined up just waiting for you to snag em. customer service was friendly and open to explaining what was available and any questions that I had. Dubai chocolate petit supreme: wow this was my first circular croissant and this was so tasty! The pistachio flavor was outstanding and the textures were great. The chocolate was good quality and overall a tasty treat that wasn't too too sweet Pistachio chocolate croissant: one of my favorite croissants now! Flavor, delicious. Layers, YAS. Really good, give this one a try

I made a much needed stop at Petit Pierre during a 8 mile urban hike, for a croissant. I ordered a seasonal Caprese croissant and throughly enjoyed it. The croissant was flaky and buttery, you could see all the layers. I also love the idea of Caprese on a croissant. The mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil all tasted really fresh. My only feedback would be that it would have been even better warmed up. Usually, I hear them offer this, but the cashier didn't give me the option. Petit Pierre is a cute little bakery, but be aware that they only have outdoor seating. I took my pastry and sat at one of the tables on the sidewalk. A good option for a sunny day!

I was so thrilled when my friend took us to this delectable bakery in charming Magnolia! They had buy 2 get 1 pastries toward the end of the day. The nearest restrooms are in the Starbucks and the Bartells. There are little tables to eat at outside and there is a wonderful bookstore next door. - Ham and cheese croissant: excellent and classic. I especially liked the flavor of the crispy cheese. - Snickers mousse: this was deceptively huge and had so many interesting textures! The shortbread was crumbly, the middle soft and cakey with crunchy nuts, and the mousse melted in the mouth. An absolutely delicious, chocolatey, and well-balanced work of art. - Pain aux raisins (raisin bread): light and airy with plenty of plump raisins. I wasn't the biggest fan but my friend loved it! - Berry flat croissant: it tasted exactly like how it looked: densely crunchy, buttery and flakey, with a delicious sweet white chocolate berry dip. I'm dreaming of when I can next come back!
