Great Pho especially for a rainy Seattle day. The broth was great and had great depths of flavor, which shows that it's been simmering with great care. Quite affordable and their special dish is the beef rib pho, which comes with 3 big beef ribs. Service was nothing crazy but not bad at all. Lots of open space, high ceilings, and great food!

I love pho, and I'll usually eat all of my pho, but not when the broth lacks salt, herbs, and depth. I'm not sure where the pho hype for Seattle came from, but it might be a quantity over quality issue. I got a bowl of the combo pho and it was a lot of noodle, protein and broth so you're bound to leave feeling full. But the magic of pho is the broth and the broth seemed to tease the star anise and not much else. They also skimped on the scallion and cilantro which didn't help either. No amount of sriracha/chili oil was saving this broth. And the service was pretty much non-existent outside of people bringing food to your table, which I wouldn't have minded so much if the food was actually good. Ambiance is casual, very much self service type of vibe. If you're looking for a real bowl of pho in the US, look to Minneapolis, Texas, hell there are even great bowls in nyc if you know where to look. Don't settle for bland broth.

I don't know what these reviews about "rude service" are about. Folks are there to do a job, not kiss your feet. Service is NOT rude. They are straight forward. The pho and banh mi is DELICIOUS. I grew up on Southeast Asian food and this hits just like home. Vibes are just fine. Contemporary interior, clean, just fine. But I'm not here for the furniture. I'm here to slurp rice noodles and gobble sandwiches.

This restaurant is ok. I got the pork banh mi, and the bread was a bit tough to chew. I tried my friend's beef rib pho and the ribs were really tasty! The pho broth was too salty for my preference. Service was fast and friendly.

I picked up pho here last month to bring back to my hotel to eat. Food was ready quick. When I got to the hotel (which was a block away) and began to put my rare steak in. The pho broth was like warm. Like WTH? I've never had that happen before. It's always piping hot. My steak couldn't even cook in the damn thing. What a waste! Why are you serving such cold broth?

The pho is good here, but the staff attitude is atrocious. For some time, I have been getting the vibe that the staff here act kinda cold and emotionless. There is usually one person with a deadpan face. Today, the female staff skimped on all communication - when I first came in, she started to guide me to a seat, changed her mind, and got another party seated, and left me to wonder where I can sit. Next, I went to the bathroom to find that there are no more toilet paper. I did not have high expectations already, but I let her know about it when she brought me food anyways. I think she heard me, but she gave me no response and completely ignored me. My drink order didn't come with the food, but fortunately there was another staff who was more attentive and he talked to the problematic staff to prepare my drink. She did make the drink, but she didn't even try to come over to where I am sitting and left the drink closer to another diner sitting next to me (I was sitting at the counter). I asked her if that is my drink, and again she left me hanging with no reply! The guy sitting next to me ended up telling me that he didn't order anything so it is probably mine. At this point, I was beyond angry. I was astounded how bad of a communicator a server can be.

Ate here pretty late, around 8pm on a Monday, and about 2/3 of the tables were occupied. There wasn't much interfacing with the servers, as you order via QR code, but they bring your food out to you - ours came out super fast. There was, however, a ton of spilled food all over the bench at our table from before we were sat there, and when we pointed it out, the server asked if we wanted to sit on the bench, and when we said no, she just said she'd clean it up later and left :/ We got the chicken pho and the short rib pho, and both were decent: the broth was on the richer side, and the bowls were huge, though the chicken in the chicken pho was quite tough to chew, and I felt like there were way too many noodles. Personally didn't have a good enough experience that I'd want to return, though I hear that the other location is better. Apologies for the horrendous photo quality, I think it was the steam from the pho!

This is the best pho Ive had in the downtown area! I'll probably continue going here now if I ever am craving pho and want something close by. Fairly well balanced in terms of broth flavor, temperature and the portions are filling (I wasn't able to finish mine). Meat quality is good too! Our food came out reasonably fast and the inside is clean and modern. You really can't go wrong if you're craving a warm bowl of noodles.

I've had lunch at Pho Bac a couple of times, and if you come here it's a bit different from some of the other Pho places in the area. Generally you seat yourself, though if it's crowded there will be a sheet to sign in. Once you get a seat, there is a menu that you scan via QR code, and then you order/pay then. The staff will bring you a pitcher of water, utensils, and napkins. After the food comes out, they'll pretty much leave you alone. So, don't expect a ton in terms of service, but if you're looking somewhere to just eat and then go uninterrupted, this is a great option. Overall, I like the pho here. The portion size is pretty big for what you pay, and I've definitely had leftovers after eating until I was full. I also like having my own water pitcher so I don't have to ask for more water. The food always comes out pretty quickly, so I don't have many complaints other than that I wished there was more seating options. I'll be visiting Pho Bac again!

My sister recommended this spot and I agree this is a must try! Keep in mind the parking can be a bit tricky. The parking lot is pretty limited. Love the vibe and decor of the place! I really fitted the culture. I ordered the steak pho and really good! soup is very unique and flavorful! And the serving size is very filling! I can't indicate what makes this soup unique and different but try it yourself and you'll see why!
