I'm late to the party with their devoted following from their stints at farmers markets, pop ups, special events, and catering. However, I'm always happy to check out an indie gone brick and mortar, especially with a Hawaiian - Filipino background. I was able to stop in since I was nearby. Conveniently did a diagonal from Queen Anne by SPU over to Interbay/Magnolia - Fisherman's Terminal to check out Pidgin Cooperative (10/18/25). They share a parking lot with other restaurants and retail sites, so note there is a two hour limit. Nice corner location with outdoor patio seating (perfect for warmer weather) and indoor seating - both table and counter. Big windows, high ceilings, wall murals, and interesting light fixtures welcome you as you enter. Nice warm welcome at the counter, helpful menu suggestions are provided too. I decided on their version of the Loco Moco. Stuck with water and sat at the counter facing the beer & cider taps. To my right was well stocked chill cases full of various bottles and cans and other merch to peruse while onsite. All are available for purchase. I enjoyed their lighter spin on the Loco Moco, but especially their version of mac salad. The black sesame seeds added a nice touch. I also enjoyed the accompanying pickled veg to cut through the richness. The main entree itself was a mound of steamed rice with a smashed burger patty on top with the requisite gravy and fried egg. I look forward to trying other menu items, if I'm back in the vicinity. Nice addition to the dining choices at Fisherman's Terminal!

Lovely little place on the docks, especially if you're looking for a yummy, no-fuss meal! You might already guess it from looking at the restaurant name, but this place serves up Filipino-Hawaiian food (and a few other Asian fusion dishes). I went during lunch and got the loco moco, and my friend got the chicken inasal. Both were delicious! As a Filipino myself, I can attest that the flavor of the inasal was on point. The one thing that could've been better was that the loco moco was advertised to come with longganisa, but I didn't really taste any of that flavor come through (to be honest, I'm not sure if there was any in it at all?). We also shared a butter mochi, which was decent! Yummy, satisfying meal after a morning outdoors walking. Plus the staff are so kind and polite!

We were attending the annual Fisherman's Terminal festival this past weekend and decided to grab a beer at the Highliner Public House when to my very happy surprise ... It's now the brick and mortar location of one of my favorite popup restaurants in Seattle: Pidgin Cooperative. The Highliner was a very well established and well loved local establishment and I'm thrilled that this talented group of food people have taken over the space. Turns out that the owners of the Highliner, John and Cecile, decided to retire after 12 years at the helm--They were part of a 37-year run spanning mulitple owners. Enter Pidgin. I can't say enough about how good their food is ... Their soft opening is this week, give them a try, welcome them to our beautiful Magnolia neighborhood, and be thankful that this space remains a restaurant owned by passionate LOCALS.

A friend and I stopped here on a Saturday to check it out. Upon entering we noticed the great patio seating which will be great in nicer weather. The restaurant was buzzing with families and friends at the tables. We chose to sit at the bar near the taps. The beer and cider selection was much more interesting than your typical offerings, with mostly small producers. We ordered the plate lunch with choice of protein and salad. The marinated chicken was delicious and enough for two to share. Two scoops of rice and green salad topped it off. I'm so glad we also added a scoop of their Mac salad because it was the best I've ever had! It looked like the ramen was popular here and I look forward to trying it next time.

I had lunch with my family. Had such a great time the menu items were crafted with care and very unique flavors. Something on menu for daughter in law that couldn't have dairy as well as gluten free options. A great find wonderful offerings great service at a very affordable price. I will definitely be back.

The food and staff are absolutely amazing! Very unique dishes you can't find anywhere else, fresh ingredients and full of flavor! It's very clean, staff are very friendly, and great variety of drinks! Can't wait to come back to try more of their dishes.

Met a friend here for lunch. We were looking for something different, and the reviews looked promising. They seem to be in a soft opening, so maybe things will change, but I can't say I was as wowed as the other reviewers, which is what prompted me to write my review. I got a burger that had decent flavor and while I know it is a smash burger the patty was pretty small. Good, but didn't overly impress me and I don't think it was quite worth the price for the tiny patty size, plus the fries had to be ordered separately, but they were tasty. My friend got the fish and chips; they liked it but again, nothing that special. The staff was friendly but we had to order at the counter - the prices were more aligned with a table service restaurant, which this place isn't quite. I might consider coming here again and trying something different when they are more established, or maybe it was just what we ordered, but as they are we found it a good restaurant, but not quite as impressive as the other reviewers felt it was.
