Spent a week here. I generally avoid hotels like the plague, but I'll give credit where credit is due: The staff were all amazing, responsive, and friendly at all hours I interacted with them. The hotel was clean. The breakfast provided every morning was high quality. The room felt smaller than normal but also provided kitchen equipment and a great view. I'd stay again!

I prepaid months ago for a king room with a sofa when I arrived, they'd sold my room and stuck me in a two-queen instead. No apology, no explanation, not even basic courtesy. The staff doesn't greet guests, barely looks at you, and rolls their eyes when you ask a question. It feels like they've removed the "hospitality" from the hotel business entirely. The rooms are comfortable, but the people running this place seem to have forgotten what it means to make guests feel welcome. It's called Hospitality for a reason and this team has completely lost that concept. I won't be returning to this property, no matter how good the rooms are.

Clean, modern, friendly hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast is included and had a wide variety of options (candied walnuts and chocolate chips at the oatmeal/granola fixings area). On weekends the breakfast area can be packed but the staff works amazing hard to keep everything stocked. The main reason for 5 stars is the staff here. Everyone is fantastic and really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful in providing extra toiletries and storing my luggage for several days while I was away. The staff at breakfast were all quickly restocking everything at breakfast (there were probably 100 people at 830am Saturday!) but still maintained a cheerful attitude - greeting everyone, checking to see if anyone looked lost or confused, and answering questions. I doubt any of us would be able to maintain such a positive demeanor in such a bustling environment - they were even jostled by guests pushing past/bumping into them and still apologized! I would definitely stay at this Residence Inn next time I'm in the area! Tip: Parking at the hotel is expensive but there are numerous cheaper options within a couple blocks available on Spothero.

I was in town with my crew to help Microsoft with a program at the Convention Center. The staff was wonderful. I'd like to shout out Roberta at the front desk. I hope Microsoft does this program annually so I can come back and see Roberta again.

This hotel was amazing!!! Lived our room, the view and decor throughout the hotel. There is a nice little bar in the lobby area. The bartender was so adorable and funny. We liked her! The breakfast in the morning is like every other breakfast. It was good! Parking was a breeze but I don't like the narrowness. If you can't drive don't park here. You'll probably crash your car. One bad experience was we requested to have our room cleaned on our 3rd day and nope no one came. We complained to housekeeping and the women instead of apologizing she was arguing. We didn't appreciate that, but whatever. We still had fun here !

We generally stay at the Residence Inn down by South Lake Union, but decided to drop in on a new spot. We were glad we did! Located a block or so from the Convention Center and down the street from the Paramount, and with easy access to I-5, it's pretty prime. We snagged a studio suite and very much enjoyed it. Two queens, a couch, a counter height table and a small kitchen made for a solid evening. The microwave was perfect for popcorn and shower was surprisingly nice! Check in was easy, they had a good breakfast and everyone was friendly. The parking was easy and expectedly expensive, but c'est la vie! We'll be here again!

In a great location with lots of nearby shopping as well as ports nearby. Check in was easy. The room was clean. The bartender was very nice. Breakfast was super crowded...not enough places to sit.

I really liked this hotel. It was in a convenient location downtown. About 20 minutes walk from the waterfront and 20 minutes walk to the space needle. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast daily. Parking garage was 45$ per day. They even had laundry which was nice because I ended up needing to do a load. This is a very comfortable hotel, I had a good experience here.

Worst experience with Marriott ever at this property, Residence Inn Seattle Convention Center. We notified hotel staff we would check in a bit later via phone and app chat due to a flight cancellation, we got confirmation our late arrival was alright and our room would be ready. When we arrived, the hotel staff began making phone calls to other properties asking if they had any rooms available. To our surprise we asked what happened, if they had given our room away. The staff told us yes, that they were at -1 rooms and he had checked someone in earlier and that would've been our room! After the staff member called about 20 properties, I checked on my Marriott app and I saw a few properties had rooms so I showed the staff and he called the Sheraton. They had rooms so we went over there (almost 1:30 am at this point). So ridiculous. We were told the GM, Ben Osgood would give us a call first thing to let us know what to do since our stay was through 4 more days and mentioned he would discuss compensation. Late morning next day, still no call! We were already supposed to check out of the Sheraton in an hour... So we called the Residence Inn to see what we had to do. Our lives were in limbo... Mind you, today was my husband's birthday and we had plans to go to lunch, etc. but since we were waiting we had to derail. Residence Inn staff said she did not know what I was talking about and that she would send me to her manager's voicemail! And I asked when someone would call me back and she said "well that depends on when people get in the office!" ... What?? So rude! I told her we needed immediate resolution because we need to know what to do, she said she'd call me in 30 minutes. 50 minutes went by and no call, so I called back. I asked if we were going back to Residence Inn or if we'd stay at Sheraton and what our cost would be. She said that the cost would be the same (hence no compensation/discount at this point) and room ready by 4 pm! Annoyed, frustrated and flustered, the staff hung up on me! I could not believe it... I called the Marriott hotline and reported the whole incident. About 15 minutes later the staff called me back and told me her behavior was totally rude and apologized and said that our room was now ready. We went back to Residence Inn and I faced the middle aged Caucasian woman who hung up on me... She was flustered and told me she had been completely unprofessional. For context, we are Marriott Platinum members, over 10 years and about 500 lifetime nights... And we have a Marriott Amex... We are loyal to the brand and this was ridiculous.... We decided to put all this crap behind us so we can get to celebrating my husband birthday and our remaining time in Seattle. Fast forward to us getting back home a couple days later... Still no call from Ben Osgood and no Marriott Guarantee compensation. I called Marriott and they put me in touch with the hotel's Asst. Manager, Shelly, who was polite and professional while I repeated the whole incident that she had no idea about. I told her about the Marriott Guarantee when a guest's room is unavailable which she did not know about and said would look into... Later on she emailed me and told me she granted the guarantee but nothing further from their actual property. I would have liked some additional points or nights since we visit Seattle often. Overall, I do not recommend this Residence Inn location, they were short staffed the whole time we were there... Bartender kept apologizing to guests for lack of speed of service... Front desk was short staffed and not knowledgeable... This property lacks COMMUNICATION! Go somewhere else!

The hotel was beautiful, very modern, clean , great view of Seattle and centrally located in the heart of Seattle. It was a short walk from almost everything! Whole Foods is down the street, it's just a 20 minute walk to the pikes place market and other downtown Seattle attractions! The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, we had a perfect stay!
