I rented an apartment with STS several months ago. I chose the one suggested by the manager, but later found out it wasn't available and had to move to another one of my choices. Apartment was clean, well furnished and decorated- maybe a bit dated, and I'm happy with it for . It's very convenient to most everything. Ballard, Queen Ann, Fremont, Cap Hill, UDistrict, Downtown. I can't speak for all of their properties, but it's very quiet here and I have not had any issues. Managers are super kind and have been very easy to contact, as i had a health scare a while back and my siblings had to reach out. They worked with my family members (who had locked me out of my iPhone and digital banking) so they could pay for the rent. I feel very happy and blessed to be here.

We were staying in Wallingford #5. The overall quality was good for a short term stay and I think it is a bit cheaper than equivalent options on Airbnb. However, the suite did not have a dishwasher, AC (it had a fan), and hairdryer. The vacuum cleaner was smelly and old. However, it had HD tv, cable, and internet. We also had a satisfactory maintenance experience; they repaired the bathtub tap leakage after contacting them. I had read reviews about people experiencing the invasion of their privacy by the landlord checking their apartment without previous notice. Just wanted to also mention we did not have any problem regarding that and the staff were nice people. I also wanted to mention that our security deposit was 600 which was returned fully. They received 250 cleaning fee at the beginning which was separate from the security deposit. The only problem is that they warn you that if the apartment is not cleaned (bathroom, kitchen, ...) before leaving they will deduct excessive cleaning fee from your security deposit (they also say the staff will be there just to do a light housekeeping.) I think this warning is a bit absurd because even if they hire a third party company for cleaning the apartment, $250 would be enough for cleaning rather than a light housekeeping.

Air bandb is deceptive. They rarely actually provide breakfast, so don"t take that part literally. Also, their customer service is absolute garbage. They never respond to any inquiries. It just seems to be run by people who aren't very bright.

The place was almost adequate at best. My greatest concern is that they have a clause in their rental contract that makes you promise NOT TO GIVE THEM A BAD REVIEW OR THEY WILL SUE YOU! I think that tells you all you need to know about these guys...LOL

Literally was 2 hours from Seattle when the place the wife and I were suppose to move into, got a call and the landlord said the tenant would not leave, and was going to have to evict them and it would take awhile. I went on line in the hotel we got for the night, Jon called me back in the a.m., we scheduled appointment for noon, and they offered it to us. We love it, dog park across the street, coffe shop at end of street, market next to it, laundry in unit, 2 bedroom, clean, nice, and one parking spot included. All utilities included, cable, internet, am very happy for our possible 9 months stay, can walk every where, the hospital is 2.2 miles away, and super easy commute. I will pass this on to future hospital travelers for the University of Washington Medical Center.

It's really bothering me that this service has so many stars. We used them when we first moved to Seattle ( about a year ago.) We stayed at the Dravus Street Location. I totally agree with Sade B. on everything that's been said about how disgusting the room was. Tiny, dirty, outdated, noisy... Plus it wasn't even a true one bedroom, it was an open 1 bedroom. I would have much rather stayed in a hotel, even if I had to pay more. The largest issue came with getting our deposit back. We were only there for less than a month and they tried not to give us our deposit back. We even cleaned before we left. We were told there was excess cleaning charges, and when asked to see proof, we were told the cleaning staff doesn't speak English and there is no proof. Huh? There was no walk through. Lorna told us numerous lies, including accusing my fiance of calling her in the middle of the night to yell at her, which never happened. We had to get a lawyer involved to get our money back. Read some of the filtered reviews- we aren't the first to have to get a lawyer. It was a long and painful process, but we finally got it back. They are slimy. Stay away, stay VERY far away.

No complaints. The apartment is cozy, well set up and in a great location, everything as described and got my refund as promised. Looking fwd to coming back. Actually my only complaint was the noisy neighbour on the unit right beside mine. But that's not the owner's fault.

I live next door to the 403 East Thomas Street property and can vouch that more than a few of the short term renters are sketchy at best. We routinely see and hear domestic disputes, late night antics in our shared alley, and a steady stream of barefoot smokers between the alley and their front steps. This property invites trouble. I don't know if they're providing some kind of assisted/transitional living housing alongside their regular tenants, or if they just don't bother screening people.

Jon was great with communication, and I was really pleased with the apartment that we rented for 10 days. It was both cheaper and better than staying at a hotel, and Seattle is a great walking town anyway. The apartment was everything that the pictures promised. I'd definitely recommend Short Term Suites without hesitation to anyone needing somewhere to stay in Seattle.
