I originally had this as a 2 star review but changed to 4 star... read on. I had an appointment to pickup at 8AM at this location via Expedia car rentals. When I got there it was deserted, I had to go in and call a number that was displayed on the front desk. I called at 8:08 AM but no one came until 8:18AM, so my pickup time became about 18 minutes late. This didn't affect me but didn't seem too great. However, once someone came, it was very smooth. They didn't hassle me about fees or charges, they offered me options for cars if I wanted to upgrade or change, and were prompt and friendly. I picked up the car and was on my way. As far as I can tell, once I turned my car in, I didn't get any damages or other BS charges despite driving 1000+ miles.

We rented a car from them for a couple of weeks. We noticed the car had a couple of existing damages which we had submitted pictures of in their portal and now they are trying to make us pay for those existing damages. Save yourself the stress and listen to the low ratings.

They are scamming people trying to make them pay for damages that were already on the vehicle. Stay away.

Don't rent from here. The concerning reviews on here are absolutely true. A day after they sent my final receipt, they are now trying to say I am responsible for damage that was not there when I dropped it off. Thankfully I have photos and videos to prove, but they are sketchy and will nickel and dime you even if they have to lie to do it. Bad way of doing business.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE I had booked a 9AM Sunday reservation about 10 days in advance. Super easy to book. Once the morning came, no one was at the desk. Waited 20 minutes since a sign said they stepped out. Then we started trying to call the number of the branch manager Danielle Y. Phone was off. 888 number was no help either--couldn't talk to anyone. Sent an email to both customer service and Danielle. No answer. Ultimately we had to make other arrangements. Still waiting on my reservation. Do yourself a favor and go with Hertz down the block. Half the price too.

Had a very good experience here. The representative was knowledgeable and recommended a car that worked better for our trip. Drop off was easy, we just left it in the garage and dropped off the key. Would rent from here again.

Completely inefficient. Make sure you leave at least an hour to get your vehicle. Website overbooked so the car that I booked wasn't available. The gentlemen checking people in were also the people getting the cars. What a mess. Def would not recommend this place unless you have a lot of time to waste.

Do not rent from here. Charges for scratches/damaged, but we provided pictures from drop off of the vehicle in perfect condition, gassed up, and even vacuumed. We used the vehicle lightly for 12 hours, paid an exorbitant amount, and was subsequently charged hundreds in fees. Will not be returning to this or any other Sixt.

Wish I could give them 0. They issued me a car, without my knowledge, that was not properly inspected, in my opinion. THIS IS DANGEROUS!!!! An hour into my trip, on the I5 North, the yellow light comes on and 10minutes later the front right tire randomly explodes. Thankfully, I am able to maneuver the car to the side of the road, and no damage to the car occurs, or, thankfully, to anyone else or myself. I go back to SIXT they apologize, issue me another car, and I'm on my way. Finish my trip, pay, get my deposit back and I think that's the end of the story and leave it up to just an unlucky mistake by the staff at SIXT. Months later I get SIXT contacting me to pay for having to replace the tire. The rep mentions in the email that they couldn't patch up the tire so they had to fully replace it. I was shocked to hear they do patch work on the tires they issue if there is damage to them!! BEWARE!!! THIS IS DANGEROUS!!! I looked up the Washington state guidelines, and tires should be recycled properly and replaced, not patch up the holes and give them to customers to drive on. I truly hope my tire wasn't one of the many they patch up and give to customers.... would explain a lot. If you read other reviews here, this is a common tactic SIXT does - if they mess up, you will still be charged!! Just go to Enterprise or other companies that have actual proper customer service, replace their tires, and have way better ratings in the area (this location at the time of this review has the lowest rating of any rental facility in a 5mile radius, BEWARE! THIS COULD BE YOUR LIFE YOU ARE GAMBLING, SIXT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU). Honestly, if I could go back in time I would just pay the extra $30 to go to a competitor that doesn't consistently have poor tire/mechanical reviews. The psychological damage of having a near-death experience using this company, and THEN having them hound you for pennies to clean up their mistake is quite traumatizing. I have to relive that event constantly. It's not worth your life to save a penny! Avoid SIXT at all costs!!!
