I had a consultation with this company and unfortunately it did not go well. The person I talked to had no respect for my time and no respect for the time and effort we had already spent putting together our wedding. I don't think the person we talked to understood where we were in our process and wasted my time with questions that didn't apply to what we were looking for. I also told her about some ethnic traditions I wanted to incorporate into my event. She then started talking about ethnic traditions that had nothing to do with my ethnicity. The cherry on top was her blatant racism. During our discussion she mentioned something along the lines of "Chinese, Japanese, or Whatever you are." If you're looking for someone who is sensitive to ethnic traditions, skip this place as I don't feel they have a clue.

Stacy does everything to make your day perfect. We had hired her for day of coordination of our wedding, which involved separate locations for a double ceremony, 2 cocktail receptions and a dinner reception--definitely not your typical. In the beginning, I did have some reservations about Stacy due to lack of communication, but when it came to our wedding day, Stacy went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and with ease and professionalism. Even when I did needlessly worry, I didn't have to because Stacy had everything organized and under control. During the planning process, Stacy provided us vendor recommendations and gave us helpful insight on process. She helped create the floor plan and schedule for the day's event and made sure all my vendor contracts were secure and that they had what they needed. She even caught missing napkins from our catering rental order-- which would have been a complete nightmare! When we didn't have a secure place to store our decorations or beverages overnight, Stacy took care of it all and made sure everything was where it was needed for our wedding day. She also took care of setting up all of the decorations-- so that when we arrived at the reception, everything was amazing. Seriously, our day went super smooth and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It couldn't have done it without people like Stacy to make it all happen. Thank you, Stacy!

If I could give 10 starts I would for this fantastic business! My family has worked with SK Wedding and Event Design for many many years planning important events, including two weddings, my sisters and my own. All of the events have been above and beyond in all aspects. The level of commitment to your vision and dream is unparallelled....it you can dream it, they can make it happen. For example, my husband and I wanted our wedding to feel old world...tall ships, grand soirees, romantic and lavish. Stacy and her team was able to create the perfect weekend that encompassed this theme and feeling. They introduced us to many reputable vendors and individuals who could not only craft his dream and vision, but make it come alive for our guests. NO detail went unnoticed or overlooked. We never felt pressured to do something we did not want to do because she presented so many options for all aspects of the event. Because of their professional connections across the state and the nation, vendors were lined up to work with us. Every person or company presented to us can highly recommended by previous customers and have solid reputations in our community. If I or my husband ever had a question or concern or idea, they were instantly available to meet us via phone, email, or meeting. They worked with anyone who we included in our event and no idea was discredited. Without SK Weddings, our vision for our wedding would have gone unfulfilled. They were able to bring together all of our ideas and wishes into the perfect weekend. I look back on the day with pure joy and happiness because it was more than what we had hoped for. It was a truly joyful day shared with our friends and family because of the dedication and commitment SK Weddings brings to every event they create.

Stacy was fantastic throughout the entire process. About a year before the wedding she sat down with us for a couple of hours at the space and brainstormed with us, assisting to draw out what we were looking for during such an important event. She has a great sense of style and really helped us to shape our vision. After we had a plan, she put us in touch with several different vendors (she has a ton of great contacts - very valuable) that brought our vision to life. She was attentive and responsive throughout the entire planning process, never failing to help us out whenever we got stuck. But the best part was her help on our wedding day - we could have never managed without her! There are so many little details to take care of, and she was there to help us with them all. From assisting the vendors to cleaning up broken glasses on the dance floor, she did it all! We are very happy with her and will recommend her to all our friends.

When my wife and I got engaged I quickly became overwhelmed with the process of planning a 300 person wedding/reception. It didn't take long to realize that we were going to need help. We were referred to Stacy at SK Wedding & Event Design and she put all of our (mainly my) worries to ease. Stacy was incredible with the details leading up to "the big day". She made it move smoothly the whole time...even took care of the crazies in my family :-) Operationally, Stacy was always on time, she was very detail oriented (which is what we needed), fun to work with, and she gracefully executed everything she committed to. Stacy made planning a wedding seem simple. I cannot thank Stacy enough for all she helped us with!

Stacy was amazing from day one. I also plan events for a living - corporate events, so yes, very different worlds but similar in terms of managing expectations, working on tight timelines and managing budgets - so finding the right wedding planner was no joke! Our first meeting with Stacy was great. She helped us to vet through the thousands of ideas we had in our head, to refine what we really wanted from our wedding, and, ensure we could incorporate all that we wanted while being budget friendly. She was great about checking in throughout the planning process and keeping us on target with our to do list. Her vendor recommendations were out of this world and every vendor we worked with through her recommendation also commented on how great Stacy is! Seriously, without her we'd have been lost! She came to every vendor meeting with us and reminded us of the things we told her we wanted from day 1 - as a bride you have 9,000,000+ things running through your mind, so having someone help you remember what it is you want is key! Day of - she blew me away. Honestly - I knew we'd (Stacy, my now hubby & me) done a lot of work to turn our reception space into a fun atmosphere, but when I walked in for the first time & saw the space, I was breathless. She worked her tail off to make sure the little touches were there because she knew it was important to us. Throughout the event, she made sure things went smoothly and that every guests was taken care of. It was an amazing evening and I can say for certain that it wouldn't have been 1/2 the night it was had I not worked with Stacy to make it happen! Thank you Stacy!
