Came here on Sunday morning around 10am, and the place filled up pretty quickly. They have a small menu but everything looks great! Portions are generous - one serving is big enough to share between two people if you are planning to snack around pike place market afterward. We got the Stroganoff boat khachapuri which comes with Adjaruli. Mix everything together including the beef, cheese and egg yolk, then dip the soft, golden edge into the filling = pure happiness. Everything is made fresh to order - so expect a 15 min wait, but it's totally worth it! A cozy gem for a satisfying start to your pike place morning!

Delicious food and wonderful natural light in the dining room. Lots of 2-top tables for lunch with a friend or going solo. I don't have anything to compare their food to because this was my first time trying both Georgian and khachapuri. I can confirm that the Adjaruli was wonderful -- not heavy or greasy like I was anticipating. Definitely more than I can eat in one sitting, but they have to-go boxes if you can't finish it there. Ordering was self-service at a touch screen kiosk. There's an employee running the food out and moving drink orders to the pickup area. Seattle soda was good too. Clean, efficient, and relatively quiet for a downtown restaurant. Very happy and will be back.

While the food was enjoyable I would only recommend Skalka if it was ordered for delivery. They failed in location, service, and most importantly empathy. The problems massively overshadowed the food and I will not be returning. Location: They have the restaurant named as a pike place location; but it's a pretty good hike from the market. Once we got to the restaurant we found that not only is the dining area inaccessible by wheelchair; the ordering kiosk was inaccessible as well. I had to rely on my family to order for me and then team lift my wheelchair into the restaurant. Service: There are no wait staff to speak of. The customer orders on a self serve tablet with no attendant. There were 2 employees working during our visit. 1 was the chef and the other was doing maintenance. The maintenance worker was rude and literally shooed my sister off a rug while she was ordering on the tablet. He then shook it; spreading dust and dirt inside the shop causing another party member to go into an asthma attack. Empathy: No assistance was offered nor provided after asking to aid in accessing the restaurant with a wheelchair. No one checked in on my party member clearly having trouble breathing. No apology was offered. My group collectively felt as though the staff didn't want us there. I was really hoping to share a unique meal with my family and friends visiting the area; but ultimately we left with a bad taste for the restaurant overall.

Gladly adding to the chorus of rave reviews about Skalka. I enjoyed the "Stroganoff Boat" which is egg, ground beef, cheese, butter, and pickles in a bread boat (Georgian Khachapuri.) I stirred in the egg then ripped off some bread and scooped up the gooey cheesey beefy mixture. It was fantastic. The $17 boat was more than enough food for two people shared, in fact, we couldn't finish it although I kept taking "one more bite!" because it was so tasty. The restaurant is a little bigger than I expected from photos, there are a few tables in the front and a few tables in the back, so getting a seat was no problem. You order at a kiosk (tablet) and listen for your number to be called and I also got a text when my order was ready. They tell you an approximate wait time, and it was pretty accurate for us (15 minutes on a Saturday at almost noon.) You pick up your order at the counter and can get your own water as well, so I'm not sure that you need to tip for self-service like that? The atmosphere was pretty modest in terms of the decor, but I sat in a sunny window with a view of the great wheel, so I really couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious, I couldn't stop talking about it the next day, and I definitely will be back for more!

Stumbled upon this cozy little joint near Pike Market. Really enjoyed all the dishes we got. My favorite was the spinach. If you like bread and cheese, this is the perfect spot for you. It was all super easy to share and quite filling.

This was our first meal after touching down in Seattle from our flight. My husband and I were both so hungry and we ordered the chicken boat and stroganoff boat. After eating, we both agreed that one of these cheesy, buttery, egg boats could have easily been shared between the two of us. But omigosh, my stroganoff khachapuri was so delicious. I love how they did half regular cheese and half with the stroganoff as I got to taste both separately. I ended up mixing them together and it was amazing. Whatever cheese and seasoning they use is so flavorful and creamy with a little bit of a cheese pull bite to it. The stroganoff was also seasoned well and has tender mushrooms and meat. The bread was soft and warm on the inside. My only complaint is that the outside of the bread is on the dry side. We used the self-serve tablet at the front to order and didn't really interact with the staff other than them calling out our number for our order. There's a good amount of seating but is a small place. It started picking up after we finished eating.

Such comforting food. Perfect for chilly Seattle days. With the bowl being edible it's a perfect meal for one and even enough to share. We ordered and received our food fairly quickly (~15mins). We ordered: Chicken Khachapuri - Bread was super doughy and the overall meal was hearty and cheesy-- carbs and cheese, what's not to love? Stroganoff Khachapuri - Definitely more savory and rich than the chicken khachapuri, but still delicious. Will be coming back again :-)

Damn, this was delicious! The bread was yeasty and awesome with a crusty outside and a soft, doughy inside. The gooey egg atop the filling of herby tomato sauce with chicken was divine, but it was the egg and cheese that made it come to life! Really great food brought to me by DoorDash so I did not visit the store. I only wish they had sent napkins and a fork because I was a complete pig and scarfed this up so fast.

Found this on Yelp and thought I'd give it try, and I was not disappointed! We got the Adjaruli and the Lobiani Bread Boats, and they were both fantastic! The bread is tender inside and crispy outside, and the ingredients in the boat itself complement one another nicely. A single boat is plenty of food for an adult...you may want to share with another person otherwise you'll be full for the better part of the day. Overall I really enjoyed this meal.

Just what I needed on a cold winter weekday! We got here at about 9.15am and ordered a spinach khachapuri through the self service kiosk. Found a charming table overlooking the Seattle great wheel and the water. We received our food within 10 mins. The khachapuri was warm and cheesy, the bread was delicious, easy to tear into and dunk into the cheesy spinach. Not overly salted, just right. Easily shareable between 2 for a hearty breakfast/brunch. Super clean and no wait times. Loved the food and would come here again to try the other flavors!
