Love that Supreme Dumpling finally opened in SLU-no more driving to the Bellevue location! Store is squeaky clean, and the staff so far have been awesome during their soft opening. I've always been a fan of their Spicy XLB and Mushroom Fried Rice, definitely try those!

Food - Unfortunately nothing that really stood out. Ordered xiao long bao, tiny dumplings with barely any soup in them. Flavor was alright. Noodles were just alright as well Service - Fast and friendly service. Ambiance - Busy restaurant, lots of natural lighting Was excited about a new dumpling place in SLU but this location doesn't even come close to the Kirkland location's quality. There are same level if not better options for cheaper in SLU and downtown.

Okay, let me be the first to say that I do not love reviews for food places that pan the service. That said... for me, this particular trip's ambiance and service actually influenced me enough to not want to come back unless things change. Maybe to order food to go. Food: The food was quite good. I haven't had Supreme Dumpling before, so I don't know if it's just how they are (and honestly, maybe worth visiting the others to compare), but I was a huge fan of their chili wontons and the beef bun especially. The XLB were tasty (though the top was a bit thick, there was SO much soup! excellent). Personally, not gonna go for the pan fried dumplings again because they were a bit doughy. I really liked their green beans dish as well. Service: We put ourselves on the reservation list for 6:15pm. This is probably Yelp's reservation system's fault, but we were actually just added to a Yelp waitlist that didn't get us off until about 6:40pm (and we'd arrived early to check in). Mostly a little annoying. Ambiance: Then we were brought to the back room. At first I thought it was exciting to be in the backroom-- I was wrong. The back room is a miserable place to be. The room was SO loud because the soundproofing is non-existent (maybe the opposite; I swear the walls bounced sound more). They packed so many tables into the space that it was hard for me to squeeze into my seat. I couldn't hear my partner from literally across my table without raising my voice to yelling. Similarly, I couldn't hear a single word the server said, and mostly just had to go off lip-reading and guessing what he meant. Service part 2: Finally, we'd been seated by about 6:45, ordered our dishes by around 6:50-6:55pm. To their credit, food came reasonably quickly. It was a good thing we were sharing because they definitely didn't come out at the same time, but that's okay for this kind of restaurant. 7:15 rolls around, we've had a total of 25 minutes to order + eat, and the server comes by with the credit card reader and asks us if we want to-go boxes. We hear him tell the table next to us that we're "almost done" because they wanted to take our table so they could make a giant 8 person table, so the table next to us is glaring at us to finish. WE HAD 25 MINUTES TOTAL TO WAIT AND EAT. That's ridiculous. And this wasn't how they treated every 2-person group either; we somehow just drew the shortest straw possible. All the tables around us were seated before us, and were still happily eating after us, so clearly this wasn't a rule as much as terrible planning that resulted in them wanting to kick us out early. After all of that, I had downloaded the app to record points, and my server told me that the system wasn't working and I wouldn't be able to do so. So overall, I would never go to this location again for a sit-down unless things were seriously different. I would maybe recommend getting food to go, since they were reasonably tasty, but they have to work out a LOT of issues during their soft open before their grand open, and I would need to know all of these things have changed before I'd try this one again.

New DimSum style restaurant in SLU. My wife and I went on a Saturday morning at 11:30 am and were able to be seated right away. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and considerate of our little one who joined us (p.s. not much space for a stroller but possible and they have high chairs). We got the Xiao long bao, tan tan noodles, spicy wontons and spicy cucumber salad. I would say the XLB was solid and flavorful not much better than other XLB in the area though. The spicy wontons had alot of spice placed on top of them so not what I was typically used to. The spicy cucumber salad was a decent portion but fairly straightforward in taste (I was expecting a sweet and spice mix). The tan tan noodles were the best dish in my opinion. Basically the same as dan dan noodles but this is more peanut forward than spice forward which I liked! I will say the menu didnt have as much greens as I would have expected unfortunately.

I was visiting Seattle for work and craving something warm and full of noodles. Luckily, I found Supreme Dumplings. The menu is packed with delicious-looking dishes, but since I was ordering just for myself, I kept it simple: noodles and wontons. I went with the Spicy Pork Wontons ($8.50) and the Supreme Tan Tan Noodles ($13)--more than enough food for one. The noodles were garlicky, comforting, perfectly chewy, and super satisfying. They were even tasty cold! I'd definitely order them again. The wontons were also solid--the chili oil leaned a bit more oily than spicy, but it still coated the dumplings nicely and gave them the kick they needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though I was just there for takeout. If you are in Seattle and craving noodles, definitely stop by Supreme Dumplings.

So happy supreme dumplings is open in SLU! We had a great meal with amazing service at the soft opening. The manager Claire was lovely and our server Gio was super attentive and checked in on us throughout the meal! The food was all really good. My personal favorites were the green beans and tan tan noodles- I'm not usually a noodle personal but these were good and I hadn't had anything like it before! The xiao long bao is the speciality and was good, but I wish the dough was a little thinner because it was hard to taste the filling. The mini pan fried dumplings were more flavourful and I liked the texture of the crispy bottom. We also tried the yuzu gin cocktails which were really good and refreshing! For dessert, the chocolate long bao was a little too sweet for me personally (I wish it had ice cream or something to balance out the chocolate) but if you like super decadent chocolate it would be up your alley Will definitely be back!
