Came here for Grindhaus and while it was a drag event after a concert so doors were at 10pm it was cool that the venue was able to host two events in one night and have bar service merch security and everything run smoothly. The venue was great I don't have complaints, the bartenders were quick to get drinks out the space was nice the security was fast the ticketing was easy the merch area and easy to find it was a solid venue. I like the cocktail menu and the amount of options they have for service.

I would leave a negative star if I could. Who hires thei securit for the crocodile. D- customer service. Way to harass a bunch of 50 year old ladies. This establishment used to be one of my favorite places. Blingo loco waste of money in that venue. We are currently at Bingo Loco. It's 1008 and there is a security guard who is making our group of 50 year old woman uncomfortable. He seemed to have profiled our group because we are having a good time enjoying the moment. We will not be purchasing alcohol this evening due to his actions and continuous surveillance of our table. He's the short one of the group. Sorry about your size little pathetic short man

Saw Wax Tailor on a Thursday. Check-in and security were quick and easy. We grabbed drinks without much of a wait, and the venue was comfortable, not too hot or cold. The restroom was clean with plenty of stalls, which is always a plus (no line). There was an employee managing the walkway between the crowd and the bar. He was a bit pushy, but it kept things organized, so I get it. Overall, I'd come back for another show

Came here for a concert and overall the experience was ok! It's a smaller more intimate venue but I found the acoustics to be really loud. Loud as in hard to hear the singing/rapping and at times wishing I had brought ear plugs. Security check-in was simple and quick. They have a bar area with seating before entering the main music venue and also another bar inside as well. Looks like for the show I was at, it was standing room only.

If you're a music fan and in Seattle, you have to see a show at the Croc. This isn't the original location, but the history carries over with this new location. Don't be concerned about standing for a show. It's big enough hear that you don't feel cramped and easy to get to the bar or get some food.

One of the most insulting moments of the night came when Trent -- a security guard clearly on a power trip -- told us to "drink water because we weren't sober." We were a group of grown, responsible women simply enjoying our evening. His comment was not only presumptuous, but deeply disrespectful and patronizing. After that interaction, none of us felt comfortable ordering drinks. It felt less like concern and more like a thinly veiled excuse to humiliate us. We weren't causing trouble -- we were targeted. That moment spoke volumes about how women, especially older women, are treated here.

Came for The Ravonettes and had almost any option to stand where we wanted. Great scene and good drinks. Clean bathrooms. Loved this unique location while visiting Seattle. I'd love to be a local around here. Entry was easy and bar service was friendly. Loved the Jack Coke and grenadine on the menu

We came here for a comedy show on a Sunday night. There are three separate venues here, and we were in the Crocodile itself. There was a line around the corner and everyone was going through security. I thought the whole process was very efficient. Someone came by to scan your tickets, and then the instructions for the metal detector were clear. Once inside, I thought the size of the place was perfect, not too big, and not too small. There is not a bad seat in the house, however, if you get a seat. This was a general admission show, but I assumed everyone got a seat. Turns out this wasn't the case and there were quite a few people who had to stand. The bar area in the back never had a long line and there was a water jug on the side that was self serve, using those cone cups you get at the dentist's office. A few more chairs and this would have been a higher star rating.

RACIST/ABUSIVE/DISGUSTING Security and Staff!!! I am never attending the crocodile ever again. This was my first and now my last time ever going to this venue. I HIGHLY recommend steering clear of the crocodile. Even if ur favorite artist is performing here you are better off saving your money and never experiencing the abuse from its staff from the security and management even to the bartenders!! And good luck ever getting any type of refund no matter how bad the experience it was. They do not care about their patrons one bit. My friend was treated so disgustingly when trying to get in for emo night. While in queue to enter the venue they single out my friend from the four of us and demand she empty her pockets. And let me add that she's the only black woman in line with us at the time. I understand that venues check folks for safety but the demeanor, the tone, and the body language from three angry men was off putting and scary to us. She is a TYPE ONE DIABETIC so she pulls a caprisun juice pouch out of her pocket because SHE NEEDS SUGAR IN CASE SHE WERE TO HAVE A HYPOGLYCEMIC EMERGENCY. They then physically grab her caprisun out of her hand and aggressively throw it in the trash while she's in the middle of trying to tell them she needs that for her diabetes. Don't even allow any time for any sort explanation. She has to then pull it out of the trash and inform them she needs sugar in case of an emergency. Then they call extra back up security to full body scan her. So three men are looking down at her, a black woman, while she cries because they are not listening to her and embarrassing her, while full body scanning her.... Super disgusting sexist power trip moment. Then while we're walking in, we tell them that wasn't okay and they condescendingly say something along the lines of "I don't see at all what's wrong with checking that people don't have knives or other items on them", literally refusing to acknowledge that anything they did was not only widely inappropriate, incompassionate, but was also traumatizing to her about her own medical disability. Every person in security here needs to be retrained and taught de-escalation, trauma informed care, and the American disability act. From reading other reviews this seems to be a theme here and I really wish I had been warned about this before hand. Do not go here, especially if you are a woman. I will be filing a complaint with the department of justice for this venue to be investigating for violating Title III of the ADA act (attempting to not allow accommodations needed for disability).
